Hiya...
Im BFing my DS (which I presume is to blame) and although I was never small, its getting abit OTT the "growth spurts" im gowing through! I was D/DD pre-pregnancy, about an E at the end... and they keep growing now! Im not putting on weight, im actually on abit of a diet - is Bfing causing this? I bought an F nursing bra (biggest I could find) and I still spill over the top! Will it ever stop??????

34j......great if you like back ache, and breast milk!....Figleaves.com do fab feeding bras in bigger styles.

twingirl · 06/10/2006 14:17

i got fitted for bras at m&s and john lewis, all the bras were dreadful old lady ones but my fav was a huge flesh coloured soft one with a satin edge that was obviously designed for the ancient and the woman in m&s did say 'its better on' and she was right. my sister was with me at the time and she was doubled over laughing in the changing rooms. husband said 'if you're comfortable thats all that counts'. boobs stayed huge whilst i breastfeed twins but have stopped at last

I have big boobs at the best of times but with this pregnancy it's my nipples which are growing beyond control. I keep catching dh and dd staring at them in awe.

nulnulcat · 06/10/2006 15:28

pre baby was a 32e by the time i gave birth and my milk came in i was a 36L!!!! only had a 5lb baby so feeding her was a bit difficult i nearly suffocated her with my porn boobs and i produced enough milk to open my own dairy!

problem was i was back in a size10 jeans within 2 weeks so i looked a bit odd!

settled down to a 34g after about 3 months and stayed that size til i stopped bf

am now a 34dd but they are saggy cleavage has vanished!

tigi · 06/10/2006 21:33

Can i ask how the bravissimo bras fit? I'm not near to a shop, so would order by mail. Are their sizes on a par with M&s for size? thanks

jennster · 06/10/2006 22:15

OMG size L!

scaryboobs · 09/10/2006 15:02

My nickname was inspired by this very phenomenon! Pre-pregnancy no 1 I was a 34DD...pregnancy saw expansion to 34F but nothing compared to the day my milk came in, I swear they were visbily expanding before my eyes (and my husband's glinting ones!!) Had to squash myself into a 34J (the biggest Mothercare had).

Now 26 weeks into pregnancy no 2, I'm already into a 34 H and terrified about what will happen when my milk comes in next time...might try parachute manufacturers I think!!

TheUnholyTrinity · 09/10/2006 15:07

I'm 6 months pg and alread gone from D to F and was GG when I had dd2 ugh which is probably going to happen again ugh

Ricki · 22/11/2006 14:56

I need Emergency Help!!! All advice welcomed. When I was pg my breast increased from 34B - 36E. Now thankfully down to a 32DD. They used to be firm but rather like jelly now. Desperately want to do something, anything. How do you get the firmness back?

fizzbuzz · 22/11/2006 15:18

Sorry but can beat you all. When pregnant, boobs expanded to J cup (32" back). Looked like a cartoon. Would give anything for 2 poached eggs (sigh)

CurrantBun · 22/11/2006 16:50

Blimey! This is really putting me off breastfeeding, which I was never all that keen on the idea of to start with. Currently 26+2 weeks pregnant and so far boobs have gone from a 32B to a 32C.

I really, really don't want to end up with bigger boobs than I had pre-pregnancy - this is one of the reasons why I don't want to breastfeed, as they'll stay huge for months on end. Once the baby is born I want my body back as soon as possible - I know that probably sounds selfish but that's the way I feel.

If you don't breastfeed how long does it take for boobs to return to some semblance of pre-pregnancy size?

fizzbuzz · 22/11/2006 17:52

I didn't breastfeed as felt would smother dd! About 4/5 days to return to normal

Ricki · 22/11/2006 20:58

CurrentBun, stick to breast feeding. Breasting allows you to get your pre-pregnancy figure back quicker. Yeah fair enough, breast may take a little longer but, one cancels out the other I guess.
