When your af returned while bfing, did the cycle go straight back to normal, or was it irregular for a bit and then settle down? TIA

Over a week late now. I kept thinking all day yesterday that af was about to arrive, but still nothing. I was going to test this morning, but was really rushed so no time. I think I'm prevaricating because I'll be disappointed with a negative...

Ok sod it I'm going to test again!

OP posts:
2Happy · 02/05/2006 15:10

Or not.

Can't decide!

OP posts:
2Happy · 02/05/2006 15:31

OMG. It's true. The only reason I don't want to test is because if it's negative I really will be totally disappointed. I've sat and thought and thought, and that is the only reason I'm not testing.
I want to be pregnant!
Shock

2Happy · 02/05/2006 15:47

D'you think dh'll get suspicous if I suddenly start leaping on him?!

OP posts:
picnikel · 02/05/2006 15:54

possibly but they are simple creatures. he might put 2 and 2 together if you get pg next cycle....
Wish i could be as fertile as you , .

2Happy · 02/05/2006 15:59

You just need to jump your dh too! (so easy when he's on nights...)

hope you're okay 2happy.... you still never know tho'. there are loads of people on here who kept getting bfn's for over a week....

2Happy · 02/05/2006 23:25

Ooh noo don't tell me that now, I've had two comiserating g&ts and snuggling down with my third now!!! Grin
Seriously, I think it's just af being irregular for the first time post delivery. However, ds is in the process of dropping one of his bf's, so I have great hopes of af becoming regular. Now to convince dh that d?2 is a grand idea... (But if af still doesn't come, I'll pt again lol!)

Er, remember me?! Still no af. Felt queezy this am, so I bought a test and I've just done it. Anybody any experience with PREDICTOR brand tests???! Ooer....

OP posts:
suzi2 · 19/05/2006 18:05

I remember you... in my experience Predictor ones are less sensitive so have given me a positive quite a while after other ones.

Is that the answer you wanted to hear??? Grin Do you have an announcement to make??? Grin

Youre most definately pregnant then! Congratulations Grin I found that I got a predictor result at least 18 days after ovulation. And given that you're feeling a bit iffy and the missing AF, I would say you're about 6-7wks pg!

i'm a bit Envy actually. We're letting nature take it's course and last AF I was sometimes Grin and othertimes Sad. But it's early days... and I'm still not sure I want 2 so close together.

best of luck - hope you've been taking that folic acid!

2Happy · 19/05/2006 18:22

Thank you very much, Suzi! 6 or 7 weeks, wow! Still going to do another test tomorrow - can't quite believe it (good grief, will have spent a small fortune on tests!).
Good luck to you!
