Is it me or is this NHS video about feeding rubbish?

Well, I assumed it would be about breastfeeding or duration of breastfeeding, but it's not at all and sadly only mentions BF until 6 months, although it does say at least 6 months, but then goes on to talk about all the situations where you may want to formula or combi feed. Not one whiff of the WHO 2 year guideline.

I am the only one who thinks they could have done a much better job? Confused

You're right - this is only one of several poor quality feeding videos in that section.

:(

It's such a shame when women turn so often to the NHS for feeding advice. I can't find one bit of NHS literature which mentions the WHO '2 years and beyond' guidelines. I know that suggesting 2 years might seem daunting to some women at the start, but how else is the message meant to get out there?

I mentioned to my GP yesterday that I was breastfeeding as she was about to prescribe something. She responded "you don't want to be like that Time woman do you?" I simply said "WHO and the NHS recommend feeding until 2 and beyond" She then went on to say if I wanted to stop she wasn't the best person to talk to I should speak to my HV about reducing feeds.

I don't want to stop I just want help with my horrendous acne thanks.

Umm totally not relevant here but needed to vent.
