Love that the commenters are so enraged when you can see no boob at all and she is an underwear model - there's less flesh in the breastfeeding photo than in the bikini one.

I was pleasantly surprised by some of the comments (no, I still haven't learnt to not look!), most of them seem to be very supportive. I did have a good laugh at the person that said it was unnatural though Grin

no, it shouldn't be newsworthy, but good that it's getting out there and helping to "normalise" breastfeeding

However much weight loss and toning I've done between babies I've alsways ended up with a world map in stretchmarks and boobs that are more and more golfballs in socks

Why did she feel the need to post a pic on twitter of her breastfeeding? Not for the first time either. I have no problem with anyone BFing in public. I just find her annoyingly smug about it

I actually find the pic disturbing, she is dressed in a sexual manner (the red killer heels) with a sultry look on her face...... Hmm

i've fed all 3 of my sons dressed like that too. sadly i don't look like her. but still... is that wrong of me?

s'okay truthsweet i see where you are coming from. i dont know - it just doesnt sit right with me, (particularly given that i havent worn heels like that since 2008 when preggy with DS!) Wink

i think its the whole twitterati element of it - 'look at this photo of me, breastfeeding - again - arent i great' and the reason why she looks so good is because she is in the middle of a modelling job.

we know she BFs and are thrilled for her, i just get tired of seeing photos of her.

The thing is she comes from a culture where bfing at birth is expected (Australia has very high initiation rates ~90% IIRC) but they drop off sharply so may be she is doing her bit to show that you can go back to work/lose weight/have a life and bf too?

Plus there doesn't seem to be quite the level of body consciousness/prudery in Australia that the British exhibit so perhaps it doesn't register that some people might find her 'sexily' dressed?

Or she could just be one of 'those women' who whap them out at every opportunity regardless of the delicate sensibilities of those around them.

Who knows

IIRC there was also a beautiful picture of her BFing when the baby was days old. She looked stunning then too.
