Great for her and I'm really glad she's sticking her neck out and advocating breastfeeding. I loved that photo that Orlando Bloom took of her breastfeeding her newborn in bed. It made me happy for days!

(I do have a certain unworthy issue with this latest photo - like it or not, I think she does look 'smug'. It might well be her default smile when photographed, but it really makes it easy for the cretins on DM and similar to have a go at her for 'exhibitionism'. Sad Not that her facial expression should matter whatsoever...)

I love the picture. I know celebrities don't exactly lead normal lives, but whether we like it or not they do seem to have an influence on popular culture, and I think that images like this will help to normalise breastfeeding in our society. Am very sickened by the flat stomach though.

look, don't worry about the tummy, I had a revelation the other day.

THEY HOLD IT IN

Yes, they do, they hold it in.

Of course it depends on how much you have to hold in and for how long...

Gorgeous picture, I'm so pleased that she continues to bf and be photographed doing it, she's such a good role model for younger mothers.

(not like me heheh)

it's possible there is a photo of it yes,... whether it ended up on the internet i have no idea, may have been on one of the boys sites.

the thing is, that is how she looks, she had a nice pic taken, she posted it on twitter, as I am sure she posts many non-breastfeeding pics...

i dislike the implication that somehow someone is wrong for posting a picture of themelves breastfeeding, just because it may make other people think they're smug.. it's bizarre
why on earth shouldn't she post a pic saying "hey. look at me with my baby, isn't he cute" and the caption "another day at the office" or whatever it was is surely just her expressing how much stuff has changed and how she still has to take time to do this stuff despite working as well

and i am sure she isn't the only person who feels proud to do this and who posts about it online, famous or otherwise

we will have to agree to disagree then thisisyesterday i stand by my opinion, that i think it is odd to have a photo taken of you breastfeeding in a dressing gown and red killer heels with a smug look on your face and then plaster it on tinternet for the world to see (and yes she did have another photo of her BFing on tinternet when the baby was newborn)

cretin? moi? i wouldnt wipe my derriere with the DM! hahahaha! Grin
