MT, no, you don't have to have a reason...but it helps to, if you're going to the effort of posting!

And if you want more interesting threads...start some?

MT, if you're posting on a thread about a subject which interests you and other people are telling you it's boring or interrupting the flow of it with pointless requests for Boden's number...don't you think you'd be a teeny bit annoyed?

mumtosomeone · 25/08/2005 21:39

lighten up folks!
She was just having a laugh...it is aloud tou know!!

The whole point of the Boden thing is to calm down a thread that has become angry and vicious, not to wind people up for no reason on a perfectly calm thread where people ask for information. IT has been used on those stupid threads that say things like 'which Mumsnetter do you hate the most and why' because they are distasteful, stupid and nasty. You are often really funny and nice and I don't know why you want to shout people down on this thread. Misdee was asking a question and people were answering her in a civilised way.

hunkermunker · 25/08/2005 21:45

Aloha, that's what I should have said

alux · 26/08/2005 09:17

if you are a bit bookish or anal like me, go here to read in full or scroll down to article 4 onwards for the bits explained.
