Another book like Eleanor Oliphant, or Educated?!

Ok these are of course very different books but I thought they were both brilliant, best I've read in ages

And I'm now looking for more as good as these?

I was going to suggest Cactus too. It's very good. I have also just finished My sister the serial killer by Oyinkan Braithwaite. It's great, not too long, isn't gory but is really great for discussions too.

I’ve just finished Eleanor Oliphant in two days flat and I’m looking for a recommendation.

Glass Castle is similar to Educated and I preferred it.

A Man Called Ove is a bit like Elinor Oliphant.

Quite similar to Eleanor Oliphant is completely fine.

Another vote for Glass Castle for Educated like books. Also Heartland by Sara Smarsh is a lot like Educated, and IMHO, even better, also.

I am currently reading A Man Called Ove and I think it's miles better than Eleanor Oliphant, but some similar themes.

Sorry I can’t remember any of the authors. We are just starting The Gustav Sonata though I can’t comment on it yet.
