Thank goodness for that. DS left in 2018 so no longer have skin in the game, but I think he has not been good for the school.

Interested to know what current parents think.

Sorry sir , I believe you have the wrong person!
maybe you ought to scroll back and beyond , reread all the threads you are involved in and you shall see I made one comment about the change of heads at Eton , and I simply replied “what a mess “
Eton is a good school if you have been very well prepared with all the extra tutoring , if you haven’t been over tutored it certainly is not the place for you .
where as we prefer to go to a school where the boys are naturally curious and have not been forced to pass exams , it’s a shame because these kids will never stop with the pressure once tutored always tutored .
just wondering why you became very rude and aggressive? Profanities are a way of expressing ones self when you a incapable of getting your point across .

well, I included your post as a quote and was replying directly to the points you made in it, so I don't think so. However, as you have had so many of your gnomic pass/agg posts deleted from this thread its difficult to tell. it might be possible I suppose.

You might be interested to google Dr Nick Tate, and his time at WC, I think you would find the circumstances surprisingly familiar. As I mention, these ancient schools have such long established traditions that the occasional bumpy headmaster is not really a huge problem.

Thank you , I shall do excactly that. for your information my comments were deleted as I was responding to a very odd lady who was continuously abusing me when I ever made a quote on Winchester or Eton , not sure why she felt is necessary to follow me and abuse me ! I reported her each and every time and MumsNet deleted all that was said between us , I really am not letting a so called entitled person speak down at me and get away with it .

Well I agree with you ,however not sure I am searching for the same info you have , I couldn’t find anything , only he left after two years as him being master interfered with his family life .

@Tobstar106 They didn’t even expel this nightmare . My number one priority was my son’s safety at the school and I am not alone in feeling let down in that respect. No other school receives such negativity online.
