A lovely thing happened this morning. A woman behind me in the queue gave me a voucher for £5 off my shopping. She was really insistent, saying she wouldn't use it. She must have noticed, from my basket, that the grand children were arriving at short notice. Lol!

t was just really nice of her. So I'll try and pay something forward today in thanks.

I've hidden the thread now.
I see a lot of them as older, inadequate men sat in their bedrooms bashing away at a grubby keyboard. They choose user names like " EnglishOak" and "TrafalgarSquare" and last night's take away moulders under their bed.

Note to lurkers.

It's not a massive thing but we ordered our garden furniture back in February and we've finally been given a delivery date for next week. We can finally take advantage of our garden and chill.

My people lost the women’s football final today. They were awesome. Gutted for them. Such grace and dignity. Hard loss

@EchoNan Yeah it's a customised order...the parts they've been waiting for from abroad there's been so many delays but so happy now.

@blueballetshoes I'm so pleased it's finally sorted out. My BIL is stuck on a build he is involved with because there is a shortage of timber apparently. Crazy times.

@Lndnmummy. It would have been great to see them get through. They did so well, lots of courage.
