A lovely thing happened this morning. A woman behind me in the queue gave me a voucher for £5 off my shopping. She was really insistent, saying she wouldn't use it. She must have noticed, from my basket, that the grand children were arriving at short notice. Lol!

t was just really nice of her. So I'll try and pay something forward today in thanks.

Hi all thanks @EchoNan for a chatty thread.
The WIFI is out at orchid house. I’ve oodles of data but that does not help the teenage orchids with Xbox. Going to contact supplier now- can’t have this the first week of the summer hols😡

Ok I’ve tried the very old mum tech hack of turning things off and on at the socket- fingers crossed we have WiFi. No thanks to the virgin app which wouldn’t let me connect to support because “ your WiFi is not connected” no sh!t Sherlock that’s why I’m asking for help.

Anyhow the middle orchid offspring is attempting to connect Xbox again- other two are actually “ going to the shop” so they’re getting up which is a bonus!

That made me chuckle Orchid, hope you get your wifi back up soon. Cooler in my neck of the woods today, I’m delighted. We had ice cream for breakfast too with it being last day of term and all.

WE HAVE WIFI!!!! I’m so pleased. The two who went to the shop have come back with cakes too- win win!

Aggressive flower is any one that is poisonous like lily of the valley - was part of certain 2 Royals wedding flowers.

Thanks RedMarauder, I get it now. Sometimes I bit slow on the references.
I avoid anything to do with the Royals, so would not have known.

I've got a doll that my grandmother got me back in the late 1950s.

It's a Black doll, which was rare to have in those days, where we lived, anyway. I must have been about 4 when it arrived from a friend of my Uncle. who lived in the USA. Gosh how I loved that doll!

My grandchildren found her living in a cupboard, (they are still at primary school. ) They asked all about her, and yesterday, my doll had a great day out of the cupboard!

She was pushed around in a pram, loved and hugged, had a picnic in the girls den in the garden with their other toys, went in the little swimming pool.

I was thrilled to see my old doll being loved and played with. She's not in the cupboard any more, she is in the girls' bedroom with the other dolls and toys.

@EchoNan to be fair I heard it on a radio show on how tabloids were picking on a certain royal - I then Googled the front pages - and it stuck in my head.

Ah @EchoNan not only is it a special doll to give such joy to you and the family makes it even better. 😍

How are the modders doing?

Going back to the thread on here I started after sticker gate.
I flagged it up to the mods, to read all the suggestions,but never got a reply. I'm still minding the girls until tomorrow night so will come back to it after that. Not up to serious thought at the moment.

I flagged up the HC comments which got taken down fast and the mein kampf stuff. which went quickly also.

It’s gone mad beyond belief in there, if you do pop over be prepared for the worst of the worst.
