SilverSky · 18/02/2010 21:29

Lovley ta

I is not that far along in terms of weeks (4 maybe 5), is I a bit premature coming over 'ere?

CurlyCasper · 18/02/2010 21:36

nope. get settled in.

SilverSky · 18/02/2010 21:44

Perfick. Thanks. Look forward to getting to know everyone...

Ponymum · 18/02/2010 21:45

hihosilver No, not at all, come on in! It'll make fat cows like me feel totally smug about the fact that I've got 19 weeks fewer to go than you 'til this is all over!

Cosmosis · 18/02/2010 21:52

Nope, not premature at all. So what iz due date then?

SilverSky · 18/02/2010 22:05

Thanks ponymum will remind you of your heckling when baby is kicking you in the ribs. Hard.

Cosmopolitan according to the billionty one sites I have checked, its anything from 23 October thru 8 November, or somefing like that. So its anyone's guess!

My Dr should be able to help on that one, got appt next Friday.

skihorse · 19/02/2010 06:35

Runny egg pate? I did not know such a fine delicacy existed?

Anyway, speaking of forbidden foods and going menkul... at lunch yesterday I grabbed a bit of cheese out of the fridge for my omlette. It's not unpasteurised but is probably banned for some other non-specific reason and has been sat in the fridge for a couple of weeks - anyway since then I've been feeling really down, slept for 12 hours straight and haven't felt the baby kick. cunty* Can you come and kick me in the nuts please?

*I probably didn't feel the baby kick cuz I was asleep for 12 hours right?

skihorse · 19/02/2010 07:03

I just felt Julian kick. I'm menkul - that's all.

ponycotta does that mean your pregnancy has slowed down then? I swear to the almighty you were way ahead of me and yet I've only got 19 weeks to go too

You is using some creative accounting to put off the inevitable ain't ya . You can't be pregnant forever you know, not like the woman on the Cagney & Lacey opening titles.

ski well yes and that it is only tiny, it doesn't yet have the required strength in its limbs, it's quite early to be feeling consistent kicks and you are a menkul. Accept this boot to the unmentionables with my compliments.

CUNextTuesday · 19/02/2010 08:39

Like a bit of cheese is going to cause a 17 week pregnancy to fall out

Cosmosis · 19/02/2010 08:54

Yeah well according to my mw, running on the treadmill at the gym is going to make a baybee jiggle out. If that were the case, why do they bother with all those drugs etc for induction, why don't they just put all the womenz they want to induce on a treadmill and wait?

Took me 3 days to convince I was not going to jiggle my artichoke out by running at 7kph (all I can manage these days) at the gym.

CUNextTuesday · 19/02/2010 08:57

I was thinking the other day cos that once your artichike is at village fete-winning proportions, you'll want it to come out along the grain and not against it won't you...

skihorse · 19/02/2010 09:47

cunty/cosmo you are both of course thigh-slappingly right and I'm an eejit having a "moment". Btw cunty I am now more than 18 weeks.

Sex question - is anyone else finding sex uncomfortable yet? It's not so much that the bump is getting in the way but it seems to be pushing down on my bladder which in turn is pushing around my pudenda region? Oh and ol' snowboard-knees is having difficulty with doggy.

skihorse · 19/02/2010 09:50

Cossie I am still impressed with your 7kph... I doubt I'd be up at much more than 5 right now. Btw, I was like this at that comment on your fb yesterday when that man said being pregnant wasn't an excuse for you to be eating cakes. If you give me his address I will go around in october/november or so and kick his cunt in.

Sex is, frankly, a comedy of errors 'ow ow ow no you're going to have to shift your weight', 'no my legs won't go wider than that', 'i can't keep my weight off your belly, my wrists are going to collapse', plus assorted other exclamations...

18 weeks you say! I predict commencement of large kicks to the nethers in approximately 10 days time . Especially after sex - Rastus always seems to take exception to Daddy's 'explorations'...

iggypiggy · 19/02/2010 10:16

Imagine an artichoke coming out the wrong way...

I iz considering name change... beware...

skihorse · 19/02/2010 10:25

cunty haha thanks, that'll be something to look forward to. I like your sex commentary too - sounds familiar - I don't mean I've been doing it with hom...

iggy That would indeed hurt I think.

Speaking of hurt I'm starting to mentally explore the birth and this "sweep" thing bothers me. Isn't this basically when the nice doctor/midwife fists you? In which case I want to see the tiny midwife with the tiny child-like hands.

CurlyCasper · 19/02/2010 11:07

sex? what's that?

sorry silver, I flaked last night before giving you a decent induction. Been up half an hour now

Ponymum · 19/02/2010 11:36

cunty I think in my convoluted way I was trying to say I am 19 weeks further on than the new girl. I have had to write my weeks up on the calendar in the kitchen, because I keep getting confused. Anyway, according to that irrefutable authority I am nearly 24 weeks which means I have 16 weeks to go, which is 19 fewer than silverado who's only just had a BFP. Here endeth my efforts at maths for the next week.

Who mentioned sex? I think cunty's running commentary is drawn directly from observations of the Pony's bedroom. I keep having very sexy dreams, but unfortunately attempts at recreating the passion in RL are becoming awkward. Not to mention the inability to "let myself go" due to the fear about forgetting my SPD limits and doing some serious damage. Sex and SPD don't go together very well...

Cosmosis · 19/02/2010 12:09

ski the thing you have to remember about that bloke is that he's a total wanker who thinks he's funny. Was supposed to be a "joke".

SilverSky · 19/02/2010 15:26

The husband is gagging for some action. I am not feeling it right now. So an having to punch him in the nads each time he wakes me up in the night trying to get it on with me!

Not feeling so normal today. Dont feel sick as such just a bit off my food. Still eating but not as much. Perhaps HD, thats BOC is stuffed from earlier two days of munching?

salander · 19/02/2010 15:49

ello ello

wondering if i may join - v tentative as early days and a leeeetle paranoid will all go wrong however

WHY are you not allowed to eat bagged salad?

SilverSky · 19/02/2010 16:03

salmanrushdie i is the same. Only a few weeks in and am wary its all a dream. So will join you in you paranoia. Fink its normals anyways.
