ok, here's my prediction

"The day you deliver, outside will be bright. Your baby will arrive in the mid morning. After a labor lasting approximately 12 hours, your child, a girl, will be born. Your baby will weigh about 10 pounds, 9 ounces, and will be 20-1/2 inches long. This child will have medium hazel eyes and barely there black hair."

10lbs 9 oz??????? OUCH!!!!! Well considering I'm measuring small, not sure about that one!! Also not happy about the length of labour considering that DD was only 7 hours!! And if at my scan next week baby is predicted to be over 8lbs I have to have a c-section!! No mention of that!

Stayfrosty Hope you hear from Dh soon and that he is just V busy/out of signal etc. Glad your scan went well, also! I can't wait for my scan next week and seeing the baby so well formed! Do they let you have a pic at this stage?

((hugs)) to Tigerfeet, Ladyem and StayFrosty x x x

Could not resist - ''The day you deliver, outside will be windy. Your baby will arrive in the early afternoon. After a labor lasting approximately 19 hours, your child, a girl, will be born. Your baby will weigh about 14 pounds, 11 ounces, and will be 17-1/2 inches long. This child will have dark blue eyes and a lot of black hair.'' 14 pounds 11 oz!!! Good grief! ! Dark hair and blue eyes very possible, 19 hrs again possible, even a girl may well be possible, but the weight! Better not give up on the perineal massage

audreyraines · 05/08/2009 15:50

Chuffwit is indeed a good word for the Madame - she's been reporting 12 and 15 pound babies on the other threat

Tigerfeet, Ive got a couple of floors that could do with a scrub if you want to get in some more practic You'd be most welcome. I'd even give you moral encouragement and a cup of raspberry leaf tea!

stayfrosty, so glad about your placenta, seems like most of them move up of their own accord. i understand you being so worried about DH though, that is really awful for you. I hope he makes touch soon so you can -kick- -his- -face- -off- be reassured. xx

audreyraines · 05/08/2009 15:51

oops, should be kick his face off

bigbang · 05/08/2009 15:52

'The day you deliver, outside will be dark. Your baby will arrive in the evening. After a labor lasting approximately 16 hours, your child, a girl, will be born. Your baby will weigh about 12 pounds, 15 ounces, and will be 22 inches long. This child will have medium green eyes and curly brown hair.'

Oh my word, 12lb 15? Thats just cruel, how can she scare people like that! And 16 hours, my last labour was officially only 3 and half or there abouts. I give up now, I can't give birth to a (pretty much) 13 lber, someone else will have to do it.

audreyraines · 05/08/2009 15:53

daffodilli, you'll need some kind of excavator to get that baby out

StealthPolarBear · 05/08/2009 15:54

Well I'm going to have a 12 hour labour and a 4lb baby girl Would have hoped she'd be about 4lb now, surely!

OP posts:
audreyraines · 05/08/2009 15:56

when i had the ultrasound last week, they estimated that baby was on the 65th percentile for weight. i have heard it's wildly inaccurate, but interesting. ds was bang on average when born, but he was 2 weeks early. maybe if he stayed put another two weeks, he would have been around that.

AprilMeadow · 05/08/2009 16:00

jeeeeeez they are some big auburn haired babies heading this way! I did mine and got a sunny day, girl, 6lbs 3oz - hmm i thought this isnt looking too bad, until i saw the length of time she gave for labour..........44 hours!!! erm no thanks

Will go off and have a catch up on the thread......
Just back from my 34wk appt (34+2). Swollen hands and feet, trace of protein, high (ish) bp and baby is still breech! MW said that if still breech in 2 wks then they will send me to have her turned..... i dont like the sound of that

daffodilli · 05/08/2009 16:01

I know!! Exit via the sunroof I think
wonder what she would 'predict' for herself? 3 hr labour, sunny day, birds singing, maybe a 7/8lb baby, no pain etc etc...

StealthPolarBear · 05/08/2009 16:03

44 hours
Mine was auburn haired too (as am I!) maybe the colour predicotr is stuck

OP posts:
audreyraines · 05/08/2009 16:07

lol, who has been going around making all these auburn babies??

TigerFeet · 05/08/2009 17:58

dh was ginger duracell coppertop strawberry blonde before he went grey, so an auburn haired baby isn't beyond the realms of possibility

audreyraines (and anyone else) I charge very reasonable rates for floor scrubbing. Form an orderly queue.

StayFrosty, when your dh comes home perhaps we could all come round and sit on him whilst you give him a good kick?

Turning vibes to AprilMeadow's baby. Would you like to join my floor scrubbing business?

LizLemon · 05/08/2009 18:00

I think I'm having one of the midwich cuckoos:

"The day you deliver, outside will be bright. Your baby will arrive in the late afternoon. After a labor lasting approximately 17 hours, your child, a boy, will be born. Your baby will weigh about 15 pounds, 1 ounces, and will be 18-1/2 inches long. This child will have dark violet eyes and some auburn hair."

StealthPolarBear · 05/08/2009 18:05

SF just noticed your worries, stay strong, I'm sure you'll hear something very soon xx

OP posts:
Neddie · 05/08/2009 18:05

I don't think I'm going on that site-God only knows what the outcome will be apart from auburn babies mine will be blonde or ginger for sure as DP is blonde and his mother is ginger and my mother is blonde but born ginger and my granny was ginger (ginger is a recessive gene but it looks like we could well both be carriers) Weesley twins?

StealthPolarBear · 05/08/2009 18:07

well they are getting bigger so if you'rte going to,do it quick or you'll end up with a 20lber
(apart from mine of course!)

Neddie · 05/08/2009 18:09

SF thoughts are with you and your partner(even if you want to kick his face off at the mo. I bet you'll be glad to hear from him)

peachygirl · 05/08/2009 18:35

The day you deliver, outside will be dark. Your baby will arrive in the late evening. After a labor lasting approximately 19 hours, your child, a boy, will be born. Your baby will weigh about 13 pounds, 8 ounces, and will be 16-1/2 inches long. This child will have light green eyes and some blonde hair.

13 pounds Bloody hell!! That would be at more than twice the size of DD.

I'll be on again later to catch up with everyone

StealthPolarBear · 05/08/2009 19:39

SF, do you accept CATs? I tried to send you one but couldn't and wondering if that's why

Hi again caught up again,
Tiger feet in the VBAC book I have there was a lady with a transverse baby and she was told to warp a sarong round her bump tightly and the baby moved.

Don't know exactly how she tied it though bu it could be worth a try.

April meadow don't worry about the turning I had that last time, you can CAT me to ask any questions if you like.
