Hi ya back again - just had the first of my 3 boozey goodbye lunches (well if you call 2 glasses of wine boozey!!)

Love all the new pics - bubb it's only right and proper you should add your cats pics - I'm sure charley will add one of 'Charley' too!

Katz OMG!!! I'm like Mrs W - not really grown, still in same 36B's (they're just a bit snugger) Think I went to a D cup last time when my milk came in and I was soooo proud of that - not letting dh anywhere near the yahoo site - don't want him to know what real boobies look like!!

teabelly · 27/04/2005 15:00

Awww KVG - couldn't agree more - you just wait until you hold yours in your arms - amazing, scary, wow, terrifying...

Haven't had the line down my belly this time - did with ds (and it took a good 6mths to go afterwards, which I wasn't expecting). Had one leaky boob yesterday TMI! was embarrassing too as I was at work and I usually have padded bra's on and didn't yesterday!

katzguk · 27/04/2005 15:04

i've got leaky boobs! great, had then with DD too. Had the line last time but not yet this time. Also stretchmarks not as bad this time either

teabelly · 27/04/2005 15:09

Oh fingers crossed (and madly touching wood!) I haven't had any stretchmarks, and didn't with ds...but then that's probably because I've got what looks like a map of the underground over my bum and thighs from puberty!

MrsWednesday · 27/04/2005 15:15

Hairy belly - check.

Stretch marks (particularly round belly button) - check.

And a couple of other things I've just thought of:

Greasy hair - check.

Excessive wind - check.

Oh this pregnancy lark is glamorous isn't it? One strange thing I've noticed in the last couple of weeks isn't that I haven't put any weight on. Should this be something to worry about? Lua, what did you doctor say when you went through the same thing?

teabelly · 27/04/2005 15:25

Ha ha ha Mrs W ! excess wind - tell me about it...sometimes they just escape and I can't help giggling like a 2 year old! Good job I work in an office full of men - I have a long way to go before I catch up with some of their efforts!

bubbaloo · 27/04/2005 15:45

know what you mean about the excessive wind.just been to babies r us for some "last minute bits" and dh had to leave the store pretty sharpish.the poor bloke serving us couldnt give me my change back quick enough-he he he!!
i blame the fruit and fibre i had for breakfast

So glad I'm not the only one. What a picture of ladylike loveliness we are.

Lua · 27/04/2005 15:55

Mrs. W I think not gaining for a couple of weeks in big deal.
My doc didn't seem concerned at all that I didn't gain any weight in 6 weeks! She said that use to use weight as an indication of baby growth, but is clearly not a perfect tool. However, this was in the contect of my scans (I get them every 2 weekss), which shows baby was growing at a steady rate.
I guess if you are concerned you could ask MW to check your fundus? As long as this is increasing at a steady rate you should not have anything to worry about it!

MrsWednesday · 27/04/2005 15:58

Thanks Lua. Yes, it's only been a couple of weeks and my fundus height was ok on Monday. I think I'm just looking for things to worry about

Ha ha ha Bubb - PMSL! That's sooo funny - if ds is with me I usually blame him - being a little boy he's more than proud to take the glory of a good pop-off!!!

teabelly · 27/04/2005 16:57

Lynny - hope you're feeling better now - don't stress!

Well that's me off home in a mo. Can't believe it, only 2 more days of work next week and that's it - and if I don't end up coming back to the City to work, wednesday will be my last day up here after 18 years!!!! Bloody hell I'm old!!

Right that's enough wallowing Hope you all have fabulous weekends (just in case I don't get the chance to log on - although I will try, otherwise it'll take me forever and a day to catch up ). Byeeeeeee, xxx

charleypops · 27/04/2005 18:32

Hello everyone!

Been having a nightmare couple of days and not felt very sociable so thought I'd best stay away for a while - Dp's working away atm and whilst I though I would have lots of lovely spare time to chat on here, I'm having to deal with the Inland Revenue/broken laptop/house insurance and washing machine nightmares. Far too boring/upsetting/stressful to tell you about. I might tell you about the washing machine thing if it doesn't get sorted out tomorrow because I will need your support

I've not been back to the old thread yet - I just wanted to touch base with you all quickly and so have just scanned this thread. lol about the tests - I've kept mine too! It went bright blue even before I'd finished peeing on it, so was denied that classic nail biting 2 minute wait you see on the soaps etc. I feel like I've been pg for ever, cannot imagine what it's like not to be! Cannot imagine either that I'm going to have a baby and it's (hopefully) going to be FOR EVER and FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE, LIVING WITH ANOTHER PERSON EVERYDAY FOR THE NEXT 16-18 YEARS

Lol MrsF re your dh moaning that you'd woken him up! Charming! Was he hungover? Hope you have a fab weekend. I could do with getting away this weekend that's for sure. Good luck with the job and moving etc.

KVG - shame you don't know which way up your bump is. I just know mine's not going to turn over - I sense he's quite happy the way he is thank you and that's where he's going to stay til the bitter end.

Lynny - how hilarious re "Becky" and what a shame your dh can't be mates with him anymore - I'm from Yorkshire myself, and all my family are too - I can't imagine any of the blokes putting up with "owt" like that

LOVE all the photos on the Yahoo site - have to upload some myself - All dds, dss, dps, dcats and ddog are gorgeous, so it's a bit daunting for me....

Lua - My dog Charley went off in a huff when he saw that photo of yours - he's very jealous of weimeranas!

Katz - I'm glad you said who's boob that was! Impressive!

Bubbs - my tummy's gone kind of furry and I've got one of those faint vertical lines, but no wire wool!

Re WIND - I actually haven't had wind for a few months - I remember I had quite a bit in my first trimester. I noticed this only today when I was tramping round a muddy field in a crashing STORM with ddog and I experienced a little "escapee" - I thought to myself - "gosh I haven't done one of those for ages"

charleypops · 27/04/2005 18:36

I recently got my first Tots Bots nappy - it's so cute - however, does anyone here think that it's a bit bulky in the middle of the legs? Can you get narrower ones? I'm just a titchy bit concerned about this because dp's niece was incredibly bow-legged for her first 2 years and, though she was only ever in disposables, it was thought that nappies exacerbated this?

JonahB · 27/04/2005 18:44

Okay, I've just added a photo of my "little girl". Its the photo called Sophie0404, although I realise this will only appeal to Bubb and Charley! (and if you are wondering, that is my underwear she is ferociously guarding .

welshmum · 27/04/2005 18:57

Hello all - have been with dd all day and she likes to play so not much time for me to log on.
Could someone remind me of the passwords for the yahoo site - Have forgotten what I'm supposed to do.
Thanks xxx

charleypops · 27/04/2005 19:38

AW!! another lovely pussycat!

My goodness - your cupboard looks neat and tidy! Are all your cupboards and drawers like that?! Does everyones? Or did you do that specially and you left the door open on accidently-on-purpose?

charleypops · 27/04/2005 19:44

Welshie - You might have a authorisation from Yahoo from last year when you first logged on which may have your password in?

Your login name is welshmum63. If you put that in and can't remember your password, I'm sure there'll be a prompt for them to send you a reminder?

JonahB · 27/04/2005 19:44

Oh g-d no, I work from home and that cupboard is full of work files. The one above and to the left is where I cram all my c**p and shut the door v. quickly in case everything falls on top of me!

You can see what I do during my work day, can't you

welshmum · 27/04/2005 19:55

Figured itt outt and dd's there in all her glory now - grandma made the dress - complete with hand-smocking!

welshmum · 27/04/2005 19:56

Thanks charley - I rejoined in the end - good to hear from you x
