Did you get/use the snuggler?

Have got the nest and don't want to spend out more if they are not really necessary. But likewise, don't want to not get one if they are actually quite important!

I have am amby and ds is one next week, and still in it! We didn't use the snuggler and we swaddled ds and he slept very well (for a bf baby).

and yes, it is quite low so if you had a bad back it might give you some trouble. And it gets lower as the baby gets older and heavier.

You can always throw away the stand and have it hang from the ceiling - that way you can set it at any height you like.

Love the amby, bought from ebay, didn't have snuggler, never heard of it till DS was too big anyway. Swaddling is great, grobags a wonderful invention.

I did have a snuggler which ds used until about 4 months, then he was quite happy without it. I never used a grobag, just a folded celluar blanket.
BTW, ds slept brilliantly in his Amby sleeping 10-7 from about 8 weeks. Since he moved in to his cot at 8 months he has never slept as well, and the first few nights in his cot were as though he was being made to sleep on broken glass!
Day time naps have always been in the buggy.
