I work at the hospital I just spoke to a midwife who said not to be concerned if it’s not bright fresh red blood but keep an eye on it. I’ve had a v light pink snotty kind of discharge x

heartbroken22 · 07/11/2022 13:55

I'm 5 weeks and one day today. Still waking upto pee in the middle of the night. I'm feeling this weird pressure under my stomach and on my tailbone. Backache comes and goes. Hope everyone else is feeling a little bit better. It's weird how when I'm not pregnant I'm like I can't wait to have this many kids but the moment I am, its like this is hard work, it's not easy growing a baby...this might be my last...

Fran919 · 07/11/2022 14:35

The morning sickness has started for me and constantly feel like I’m hungover! I don’t think it started until 7/8 weeks in my last pregnancy and I’m 5 weeks tomorrow. Of course I’m worried it’s something sinister like a molar pregnancy, ah I need to chill.

I don’t know whether to go for an early scan at 8 weeks or leave it until 10/11 and then have it with an NIPT screening too. I’ve not got my booking in until 10 weeks either which doesn’t help.

MendaciousMabel · 07/11/2022 17:14

I have such a weird intermittent pain in my back just below my rib on the left side, it’s not that bad but I’ve definitely noticed it, it kind of feels like a stitch. Has anyone else had this?

thelma57 · 07/11/2022 17:35

Omg @MendaciousMabel I was just coming on to mention my back pain! Feels exactly like that, and my stomach feels like I’ve been doing crunches, only 5 weeks on Wednesday!

MendaciousMabel · 07/11/2022 17:51

@thelma57 I’ve had back pain most days for a couple of weeks but it’s usually lower back and today it’s just under my ribs. How weird!! Hope yours isn’t too bad. The pain isn’t really bothering me it’s just annoying me that I’m noticing it more than anything 😂

thelma57 · 07/11/2022 18:32

Yeah mine feels like it’s in my ribs @MendaciousMabel not too painful, and I’m grateful for any symptom tbh 🥰

MendaciousMabel · 07/11/2022 19:09

@thelma57 I think I just worry too much everytime something new happens 😂 really wish I could just stop it. Booked an early scan for a couple of weeks time so just keeping everything crossed we’re all okay then.

Daniki · 07/11/2022 19:41

@MendaciousMabel I had the exact same pain under the left rib. Not sure what it is! High enough that I was thinking it's not pregnancy related 🤣 also turns out I had a kidney infection I just finished antibiotics today!

So hard not to worry ladies about every little thing, I had a Mc in august and when I first found out I was pregnant again I was an anxious mess and while I still get anxiety iv found I have relaxed a bit, prob from finding out I had that infection and that's why I was having pain in my side.
I have to ring the EPU next week when I am 7 weeks and they will organise a scan due to my previous loss. I know I will still be anxious as I had a scan at 7 weeks the last time due to spotting seen a heartbeat and still miscarried the following week 😔

MendaciousMabel · 07/11/2022 19:56

@Daniki fingers crossed all is well next week for your scan!

i think if the pain gets worse or isn’t gone tomorrow I might ring the docs and see what they suggest I do. Not heard anything about my booking in appointment and my EPU only sees you from 6 - 14 weeks.

Wafflessyrup · 07/11/2022 20:34

Hi all, funny story - can’t believe I’m sharing this tbh

a week late, did a test middle of the night saw a very faint positive whether that’s real or just the dye 🫣 but then I remembered

funnily enough this happened with my first pregnancy and when I went to my 12 week scan I was actually 9+5!! and couldn’t work out how the hell I got pregnant with those dates lol
i only got a positive at 7 weeks with my first which is very late.

i had done so many tests up until 7 weeks and got a negative but actually was pregnant the whole time and it wasn’t in my head.

unfortunately I could have a long old wait to find out if I am pregnant again lol.

has this happened to other ladies just needing forever to have a positive test?

Omg2lines · 07/11/2022 22:06

Yep exact stitch type of pain here too, and @Fran919 feeling really hungover also 😭

I’d be worrying sick if I felt nothing so taking this all as good signs.

Hope everyone else is feeling ok x

RainbowSearching · 08/11/2022 06:56

Has anyone else had an upset stomach? 4+4 now and its been like this for a few days now 🫣 especially in the mornings.

inkworks273 · 08/11/2022 07:03

@RainbowSearching Yes I've been the same. It comes and goes but been like this for a few day.

EmmRach · 08/11/2022 07:49

@RainbowSearching @inkworks273

Yes me too!! It was particularly bad whilst I was getting implantation bleeding about 10 - 12 DPO. I'm 15 DPO now and I'm feeling better in that department.

I came on here to ask about due dates though, I'm really confused and it's frustrating me a bit! So I have short cycles, 25 days with ovulation on CD18. First day of last AF was 7th Oct. So NHS puts me at 5 weeks. But my apps that use conception date put me at 4. I know it's not a huge difference but when I'm willing time to go faster and for my baby to grow stronger and bigger and healthier day by day I'm not sure what I should be counting. I want to book an early scan. But you can only go from 7 weeks. So if I book from when nhs says I'm 7 weeks the little bean will only be 6 weeks post conception. I don't want to wait a week as we want to tell the in-laws on their silver wedding anniversary which will be exactly 7weeks as per nhs.
Any ideas?

elowheez · 08/11/2022 07:51

@EmmRach so on the pregnancy+ app when you go on the due date calculator you can use 'enter date of conception' :)

elowheez · 08/11/2022 07:53

@EmmRach and the place where I'm getting my first early scan is between 6-8 weeks! So I'm sure if you find one then you should be okay :)

thelma57 · 08/11/2022 08:06

@RainbowSearching I have the past two mornings! But it feels like it and then I actually can’t go easily 😂🤦‍♀️

Does anyone feel really pregnant in the afternoons and evenings but then not pregnant at all at other times? So weird!

I’m 5 weeks tomorrow and keeping everything crossed so tight! Almost got a dye stealer this morning which made me so so happy as last time they were so faint until my bad news 🥹🤞🤞🤞

Due July 2023
inkworks273 · 08/11/2022 08:08

@EmmRach I think you can do a scan at 6 weeks but may not be able to see heartbeat at that stage. I think you'd probably just need to book the scan for when nhs is saying 7 weeks and see what happens.

inkworks273 · 08/11/2022 08:12

I'm 3+6 today and wake up every morning with really bad gas pains. The pain is really low down so think it's a pregnancy symptom. I've also been having an upset tummy, sore nipples and waves of nausea in the afternoon and evening which seems to ease if I have something to eat.

heartbroken22 · 08/11/2022 08:51

I actually don't have the energy to wake up in the mornings. Normally I'm up and do the school run then get on with some work. But this week I just want to crawl back into bed all day. I get bouts of nausea too that go away when I eat something. Really like the tang of salt and vinegar crisps at the moment.

gg9320 · 08/11/2022 09:35

I’m 5+1 today and the constipation is no joke 😅 I’ve gone back to taking just folic acid as my pregnancy multivitamin had iron in which probably doesn’t help! Also have such sore boobs when I take my bra off in the evening and over night!

EmmRach · 08/11/2022 09:36

@inkworks273 thank you. I think I will, and just hope they can see something!!

I also have super bad gas!! That's stayed when the upset tummy seems to have ceased.

EmmRach · 08/11/2022 09:37

@heartbroken22 you sound just like my friend who is 7weeks with twins! Particularly the salt and vinegar reference haha
Sorry you're finding it tough. All to a good end though hopefully!!
