Due December 2019- 3rd thread

Hi couldn't comment on last thread as it hit 1000 comments and was closed! Hope everyone is doing well?
I'm due in 14 days but it seems to be going in slow motion! I'm very excited but feeling a bit overwhelmed and emotional all of a sudden! also getting so uncomfortable now!

I'm sure on the 12th... 18 days.

We are so not ready yet I'm so impatient.

Our new bathroom took 2 weeks longer to complete. They plasterer messed us about continuously. So now that's just being completed today. Then it needs to be all painted so prob won't get that finished until next weekend.

Then need to tidy house up which is in dissaray due to renovations. And get baby stuff like the bedside crib installed, crib put together and just organise stuff like nappies and everything.

None of this has been done due to this work.

I am so pissed off at that plasterer who kept cancelling on us for so many reasons. If you can't do the work... Fine. But tell us so we can find someone else! I'm so mad about this i feel nothing can get done.

I want this baby out yet we really aren't ready. The mess the house is in and the fact the nursery doesn't look like a nursery...

@ lovebeingmum9 I’m due next Wednesday and can’t believe I can say I’m having a baby next week (hopefully!) but also have a feeling he’s going to come sooner. Lost my plug yesterday and had a very very active baby Saturday. He’s settled back down now to merrily kicking away!

haha we normally put our tree up just after Nov 5th (crazy I know but a crazy passed down tradition lol) but because of having our 2 yr old we're leaving it as late as we can!

@fonxey aw I feel your pain....we have done alot of home improvements over the last 2 years and some of the tradesmen have really let us down....adds to the pressure with kids/pregnancy in the mix but will be so worth it!

@bobble53 ooh how exciting! the final countdown.....every time I go for a wee I'm checking the tissue like a maniac for anything different 😂 but nope I think he will keep us waiting until induction which is on due date......
as terrible as I sound I'm hoping for a slightly long winded induction as to me it would be like an all inclusive holiday,sitting in bed,getting meals brought to me and doing what I want to, but then I realise with 3 very lively children already at home my husband will want/need me back asap! 🤣

Happy 1st of December all! can't wait to see and hear about all the December babies....I'm getting induced on Tuesday! excited but nervous now 😁

I'm feeling so impatient. I'm 38+3 today can't believe that. But i really don't mind her coming now... I've been having words but she seems quite at home where she is!

Thanks @lovebeingmum9 we had some drama last week. He wasn't feeding properly and lost a lot of weight so we ended up readmitted which wasn't great. I tried to express for him but it made me miserable so after a week of BF we switched to formula. I still have spells of feeling guilty if he's sick etc but overall we're both much happier.

39+3. Finished work a week ago and as much as I'm keeping busy it does feel like I'm just waiting now. It's funny knowing it could be anytime, or it could still be weeks away.

I'm booked in for CS on Thursday. SPD has been horrendous so can't wait to meet Baby & for my body to stop being in pain. Plus I'm very hormonal so crying constantly!

@smartcarnotsosmartdriver a thriving healthy baby is the mist important thing. Please do not feel guilty, breast feeding doesn't work for everyone. I gave up on it with DS for similar reasons & he thrived as soon as I swapped to formula

aw im so excited for us all and still doesn't feel real that time is almost up!
@smartcarnotsosmartdriver you have nothing to feel guilty about,you tried it and it didn't suit you both (Ive never tried bf as always preferred seeing how much babies drunk from bottle) but the way I see it as bottle or breast babies are still being fed from teats lol
@BabyDueDecember not long for you either....exciting!

Good luck everyone! My due date is today finally! Midwife in Tuesday if I make it! Baby seems pretty happy where she is.
Feeling absolutely done now and ready to meet my girly. 😊

37 +2 here! Finally break up Tuesday, had holiday to use, and a scan on Friday!!! Getting lots of BH and discharge so hoping it's a sign he'll be sooner rather than later as the pelvic pain and heart burn is getting to me now. Hopping none of us have to wait too long. And congrats to smart, he's gorgeous!

Hi all, have just found this thread and hope okay if I join? I'm 39 + 4 today and apart from twinges here and there and baby's head apparently being engaged, nothing yet. Not sleeping well but feel good apart from that! Baby's room finished today and furniture all built so feel much more prepared.
I have another appointment with midwife and consultant tomorrow and will be offered a membrane sweep (was offered one last week but felt it was a bit early) with induction on Tuesday or Wed if that doesn't help. Just want baby here safe now. Good luck to everyone!

Hello all.....our baby boy Isaac was born this morning at 3:30am after induction on due date,weighing 9lb and were both doing well and are now at home where he has had alot of love from us and his 3 siblings! 😍

Haven't been around in a while, baby boy was born 18/11 weighing 8lbs 13oz. Induced early due to gd and baby measuring big, i laboured for 19 hours, got to 10cm and pushed for over an hour before contractions halted and baby stopped moving down so ended with an EMCS.

Very happy to have my little guy here safely and settled in at home.

Congratulations to everyone with gorgeous baby's!

I ok was also due 23/1 currently set waiting in theatre attire for emergency section!! It's been brought forward from Monday due to abnormal Doppler 😩😩 very scared to say the least!
