Due Mid-December 2019

I just thought I'd start a new thread for anybody who is due mid-December!

My AF is due today & I had my BFP three days ago. Obviously, I'm hoping that it's a sticky bean and I know the risk of MC but I'm not superstitious. I need ladies to chat to with and be excited with. I'd stay in my TTC group but I'm worried about annoying people, as I'm one of the first to find out! (It was a group for people who ovulated in the same week). Plus, I don't want to upset anybody who gets a bfn.

The December thread is quite overwhelmingly full of messages, so I thought a new mid-Dec thread would be nice!

All welcome!

About me:

I'm 33

Cycle 5 of TTC since November.

I think my due date based on LMP is around the 14th Dec.

BFP on 10dpo. I'm 13 dpo at the time of writing.

Assuming everything goes ok, this will be my first born baby. I had a TMFR at 13 weeks in August last year, sadly our baby boy didn't develop properly. Docs gave us the all clear to start trying again in Nov.

Hi, i joined the other thread too but it does seem easier here, least i can read everything since.

Anyway, happy Easter to all who celebrate. How if you have had your 4 day weekend you're enjoying putting your feet up.

I'm Fiona and I'm 5+4 today. First pregnancy, conceived in my 3rd cycle. Due 16-18th December. I feel i didn't plan this so good... Far too close to Christmas whatever day she gets born!

I've been getting really tired by the evenings, more tired than usual especially if I've been somewhat active. Usually feel totally shattered.

Been having on and off lots of little cramps in my belly. It started off kinda around my belly, then turned to pressure in my vagina and lately getting light stabby shooty pains around my pelvis. I find if I'm getting up from lying down i get an ache at the lower part of my belly as if I'm using muscles i haven't used before. I guess it's just a sign of everything loosening up?

I've had some mild background nausea and lately constipation. Boobs slightly sore. Everything's i get a symptom i get rather happy. My OH thinks I'm nuts.

This is all fascinating first time around. I hope this is all normal. Hard to know what is and what isn't. It is all new to me!

I got myself this big book that takes you through your pregnancy day by day and i love reading it and trying to picture my little embryo growing. I'm willing him on every day thinking about what will be developing next. Come on little neural tube, come on heart!

Hope I'm not the only weirdo...

AryaNoOne · 21/04/2019 21:17

@fonxey if you are a weirdo I definitely am too! I have an app that tells me what has grown each day and I keep checking to see what’s new - latest update was on her/his heart and liver. Also very conscious of the Christmas proximity but never mind. This is my first pregnancy too so it should be a really special Christmas.

Thund4rcat · 21/04/2019 23:06

Well I just officially joined the morning sickness club. Was just feeling queazy until I brushed my teeth before bed and that was it! Bucket by the bed time... I hope this sickness doesn't really last another 10 weeks?!

JASPERVV · 22/04/2019 14:29

Hi all! Hope it’s ok to join here. I’m just 5 weeks pregnant, found out 2 days ago. I had really painful boobs for a week and now they seem to have eased off, this is worrying me! They are still quite full but no way as sore. Wondering if the initial pain was the gyms fault and the real hormone boob pain hasn’t kicked in. Has anyone else had this? How are your boobs?!?

JASPERVV · 22/04/2019 14:38

@Jenny39 I'm 39 too and this is our first

Jenny39 · 22/04/2019 17:36

Thanks @SunStruck! Will check into the other thread. Possibly spoke too soon about the lack of symptoms as I've had horrific nausea the last few evenings- could possibly be from too much chocolate though 😂. Hi @JASPERVV ! Nice to hear I'm not the oldest first timer here. Don't know about you but I still don't feel grown up enough to be a mum!!

JASPERVV · 22/04/2019 19:18

@Jenny39 I don't feel old enough either!! Though old enough to be worried about hair dye and sleep!!

fonxey · 22/04/2019 19:40

Def don't feel old enough to be a mum!

Mums are oooollld folk haha. I always thought my mum was ancient. Poor mum. I'm only 6 years behind the age my mum was when she had me.

Joanna0x · 23/04/2019 09:50

Hiya, can I join in please, I'm currently 7 +1 so roughly due around the 12th, but my first two were 10 and 11 days late! I have a 2 year 1 month old and an 11 month old so it will be 3 under 3 over here! Very nervous/terrified about miscarriage, but I have had horrible nausea every day all day since 5 weeks and got horrible back pain today but I think thats due to rubbish sleep because of 2 children bed invading!

fonxey · 24/04/2019 10:25

Just turned 6 weeks. Stomach twinges and a bit tender, no sickness. Soreish boobs nothing major probably just from poking them too often trying to determine if they are sensitive!

Feeling worried. Is this normal? Am i going to regret wishing for sickness? I was feeling slightly naseous a week ago but nothing major at all. Now that is gone. I feel more like i have a dicky tumny rather than anything.

Sad
Jenny39 · 24/04/2019 22:20

Hi @fonxey - I am at exactly the same stage as you (6 weeks yesterday) and my symptoms (or lack of) are very similar. Other than nausea for a couple of evenings over the weekend I haven't really had any symptoms. Also feel like I've just got a bit of a tummy upset. Sort of makes you feel like you're making it all up doesn't it?!! I have a real phobia of feeling/being sick so I'm torn about thinking I should have more symptoms...

Masha31 · 25/04/2019 19:17

Hi all, I think I'm about 7 weeks. I've had my booking appointment and midwife dated me as due 5th December but I think it's more like 10th-14th. I'm so anxious that everything is ok!

SunStruck · 26/04/2019 03:01

Hey everybody! So I had my first scan yesterday and it dated me 6+6 😃 so 4 days ahead what I thought. Saw heartbeat and all, so happy!

JASPERVV · 26/04/2019 07:18

@SunStruck that's so lovely. Think I may book an early scan too

TDLO · 26/04/2019 13:11

@SunStruck I'm getting a reassurance scan next Thursday (due to previous mc) and I'll be 6+6 then and I'm so hoping and praying for a heartbeat.

Symptoms, had cramps the other day, thinking it's things stretching. Still having weird and vivid dreams, I'm up 3 times a night remembering my freaky dreams. Also peeing all the time and my sore boobs have only started.

Anyone else feel like time is going super slow? X

AuntieJuice · 26/04/2019 15:47

Afternoon ladies. Hello to new people! Nice to see the thread filling up Smile. After a bit of a slow down on symptoms nausea and tiredness seem to have ramped up this week, particularly today - it took me 10 mins to eat my toast at breakfast and I couldn't face the lunch I'd brought to work, had to go and buy something else! Sipping water in a slightly manic way. Ovia has me at 6+5 today according to LMP.

All in all, I'm very glad it's Friday...!

Thund4rcat · 26/04/2019 15:54

I am 6+4 and started feeling sick a week ago. Actually started throwing up on Tuesday. Got medication from the doctor which doesn't seem to be doing anything. Feel really really horrible all the time. I don't know how I am going to cope if this really lasts like this until around week 12! Have had to take time off work this week as can't handle it :(

AuntieJuice · 26/04/2019 18:36

Oh @Thund4rCat how horrible! Sending you calm stomach vibes through the interwebs. Is there anything you've found to do that at least takes your mind off it?

undomesticgodde55 · 30/04/2019 16:52

Hi everyone, am I ok to join in the chat? Late to he party as had a reassurance scan yesterday and didn't want to join before I knew there was a heartbeat (previous complications - another thread) I was continuing in my 2WW group but think they may start to get annoyed with me now Blush.

I'm 7 +5 according to the scan, due December 12th with baby number one. 33 years old. Feeling like I've been run over by a bus most of the day and my boobs are massive! On the plus side my hair is thicker whoop!

AryaNoOne · 01/05/2019 10:50

Hi @

AryaNoOne · 01/05/2019 10:56

Ha sorry that was supposed to be hi @undomesticgodde55, and welcome. Glad your reassurance scan went well and you feel ready to join this thread. 😃

I think I am just over seven weeks now and symptoms have massively ramped up in the last few days. Lots of nausea and I’m so tired, I don’t think I have ever slept so much. But I’m hoping these are good signs and just taking it really easy. Haven’t had any appointments yet so in some ways the symptoms help to make things feel real.

undomesticgodde55 · 01/05/2019 11:48

@AryaNoOne omg I know what your saying, I feel like I've a constant hangover and really pathetic Blush I've not vomited yet but come close a few times. I called in sick to work today because I couldn't stand the hour drive feeling so rubbish, yesterday I had to shut my office door and put my head on the desk willing myself not to chuck up in the bin! Currently laying in bed because when I move I feel dizzy lol. How anyone goes through this while looking after kids I'll never know! They are my hero's lol

PickledEgg89 · 01/05/2019 13:58

Hello, hope everyone is well. I've been on medication for my sickness since Friday 🤢 it does seem to be helping, I'm just a constant dose of nausea now!
Booked an early scan for Sunday so fingers crossed for that!

undomesticgodde55 · 01/05/2019 14:52

@PickledEgg89 think I'm gonna ask my midwife for something on Friday at my booking appointment. Just nipped to the COOP for ginger biscuits and ginger tea 🤣 to be fair munching on the biscuits has settled my stomach a little

PickledEgg89 · 01/05/2019 15:50

@undomesticgode55 sorry you're suffering too. This is my 3rd go with hyperemesis 🤢 definitely my last! I don't think the midwife will be able to give you anything though, you will most likely need to see the GP to get something prescribed x
