Teede, that's amazing! Congratulations :)
What symptoms are people having? Waves of nausea here mixed with sore boobs and being so cold! I'm shivering even with the heating on high plus the heating being on. DH is not happy 😂

saturdaynightgin · 03/12/2018 18:47

Congratulations to everyone! I found out two days ago, DC2 due 6th August!

No symptoms for me yet thankfully, I am pretty tired tho but that could be due to all the usual December mayhem!

SenoraSurf · 03/12/2018 18:48

I'm only 5 weeks and can't do my trousers up 😩😩 My eating habits haven't changed so I'm concerned I can't do up my trousers! I'm struggling with the bloat and my tummy feels too tender to squidge into my trousers, because I end up feeling incredibly sick and uncomfy.
Is this normal? I'm normally a 6/8

WineWinner · 03/12/2018 19:05

I'm just exhausted! Would be happy to be in bed by 6 every night if I could. That and bloating/ extra hungry but other than that I'm fine as only 4w5d. First scan booked for 19th, super excited!

TeeDe · 03/12/2018 22:30

thanks @winewinner :) I'm feeling alright.. super tired as soon as wake up, no energy, & a few light crampy sensations in my stomach .. How about you?? Congrats on yr BFP! IVF is a crazy ride! x

Lemon1 · 05/12/2018 19:14

I was wondering if any of you could relate - I have a sort of sore feeling in my left lower ab it’s not cramps just like pressure I guess or discomfort? Does anyone else have this at 4 weeks? Boobs are also sooo sore! But great to see them growing! Finally won’t look flat chested 🤣 x

Notanotherpawpatrol · 05/12/2018 20:02

The sore feeling is usually just your uterus stretching. Usually on 2nd+ pregnancies you feel it more and earlier.
Is anyone already in maternity trousers? I'm around 6 weeks and have already cracked out the maternity clothes! Mind you, maternity jeans are so comfortable!!

Lemon1 · 05/12/2018 20:13

@notanotherpawpatrol do you think I would be stretch at only 4 weeks?
I did have a miscarriage at 11 weeks in July and had to have an EPRC perhaps it could be to do with that.
I am allowed an early scan because of the MMC but doc says to go through midwife and wife says to ask doctors lol nightmare! X

Notanotherpawpatrol · 05/12/2018 20:21

Yes, its not jusy the tiny baby but also the placenta and water etc thats growing. Its actually bigger than yoy think. You need to go to the epau, in some areas you need a referal through the Dr, in others you can self refer. There's not much point doing it till the 8 week mark though. The hb develops at 6-7 weeks, so to make sure and not to worry you, they don't like to do reassurance scans till 8 weeks.
I'm usually allowed a reassurance scan as I've had 6 MC (4 live children) however in this area they've refused 😭 I have to wait till 12 weeks.

Lemon1 · 05/12/2018 20:49

Oh my gosh I’m sorry sorry for your MCs you must be so strong! Is this now your 5th baby on the way? How exciting! Thank you for your advise! It’s great to talk to people who have been and are going through the same! Yes It’s an 8 week one they said I can have so will go back to doctor and ask for a referral! X

Notanotherpawpatrol · 05/12/2018 20:58

Yes it's number 5 😱 total shock, I thought we were done!!
Every pain you feel and every day you don't feel sick, or your boobs don't hurt or you don't feel really tired you will panic. It's completely normal, until you see the beating heart on the screen you will panic and there is nothing wrong with that. Just breathe through it and try and tell yourself it's totally normal for symptoms to come and go, stretching pains are very very normal. It's all a very normal part of pregnancy. I honestly know the anxiety well though. All my family know I'm pregnant because I like to have the support, sympathy and love if I MC. I've always found that the best, they also understand the anxiety and craziness.
