Give your baby a good poke TA! Seriously though it could be a sign of impending birth. Babies move less before they are about to be born. Good luck with your sweep this afternoon, hope it's not too uncomfortable.

Thanks guys
I just had a hot shower and that seemed to stir it up! So no not panicing anymore, but usually the little sod never gives me a moments peace so I was a little worried.

How are all of you lovely ladies today?

foxybrown · 13/06/2007 09:43

Morning all! So, no more babies? Haven't checked Flight Attendants thread yet though.

Fell asleep to my hypnotherapy tape again, but still didn't wake up in labour. I don't know why I'm becoming obsessed, am only 37+5! And I need baby to be a week late. I think I just want to crack on with it.

Have been in agony with pelvic pains and now baby feels like she's in my arse!

Playgroup beckons. Oh joy!

westcoaster · 13/06/2007 09:43

Morning ladies.

Trace - congrats to you and Chloe. Hope all tests are OK.

Well I'm officially 40 + 1 & pissed off. Not booked for induction until 25th i.e. 41 + 5!!! No signs of anything except my being a grumpy cow. Wonder if we'd get chucked out our local curry house if DH stimulated my nipples while I'm eating a lamb rogan josh....

hollyandalice · 13/06/2007 09:45

Good, good TA! Glad you have a squirmy baby again!

I'm fine, just a bit bored. Dp has drunk the last of the milk, so I can't have a cup of tea and I've left my purse in the car, so I can't go out anywhere. Grrr....

OP posts:
foxybrown · 13/06/2007 09:46

Flightattendant had a boy! ooh, i'm excited!

hollyandalice · 13/06/2007 09:48

Honestly, aren't these babies of ours stubborn little blighters?!

OP posts:
hollyandalice · 13/06/2007 09:48

Oooo, I hadn't checked flight attendant's thread. Best update the stats thread!!

OP posts:
trendaverter · 13/06/2007 09:50

Stubborn?? YES

I suppose I should be flattered that I am such a nice place to live, but I have to say I am getting a bit tired of having feet in my ribs.

Holly come over here, I am going to make tiffin but I am toying with the idea of messing with the recipe....

hollyandalice · 13/06/2007 09:51

My dp is in Reading today and everything, but he left at 7 and I was still asleep(ish)! I want malteaser tiffin now !

OP posts:
trendaverter · 13/06/2007 09:53

hahaha me too

Well you are very welcome here whenever as long as you don't mind mess, a half decorated living room and a friendly hairy dog

hollyandalice · 13/06/2007 09:56

Lol, sounds like my house (except change the hairy dog for a mental 2 year old!).

Was going to update the stats thread with flight attendant, but no name yet, so I'll do it later.

Can someone have a baby please, I'm bored!

OP posts:
foxybrown · 13/06/2007 09:57

I would if I could. But I think its just a poo! OK TMI!

foxybrown · 13/06/2007 09:58

I'd feel just too guilty if I gave birth before you TA!

hollyandalice · 13/06/2007 10:02

I suppose if I have the baby today, I'll just be a big selfish queue jumper, so maybe I'll wait! I am getting quite impatient, but not as impatient as my dp. He has turned into a crazy loon! Every 5 minutes he asks me if I'm having the baby yet! It's getting very tedious!

OP posts:
annobal · 13/06/2007 10:04

Just read FA's birth thread - how exciting!!! TA - glad your little one is on the move again.

Was going to go to the gym today but it is such a lovely day, the park is beckoning - I think we'll take a picnic. See if walking up the hill makes the baby come (though obviously not before you TA)

foxybrown · 13/06/2007 10:13

picnics a good idea. might do the same.

Right I'm off. See you later lovely ladies,

oh, and TrendAverter, DO get on and have your baby! You are rather holding up the queue

auntymandy · 13/06/2007 10:18

sorry not been on rot ages..how many of us left?

justbeme · 13/06/2007 10:29

Hi Auntymandy - have a look at the june stats thread under antenatal in topic list (i cant do links!!) - theres still loads of us!! 13 or so born so far.

TALLULAHBELLE · 13/06/2007 10:40

TA - still here. Hope sweep goes well. Am beginning to regret not having one last week after all. If it works for you I will ask for one on Fri.

Congratulations to FlightA.

trendaverter · 13/06/2007 10:53

LOL @ queuejumping comments

I think LO is trying to teach me a little bit of fashion by being fashionably late!

Alright alright, I give in, I was trying to surround the occasion with a bit of ceremony and drum roll but I can see I have left it too long now, I am the M25 of childbirth (not going anywhere) and I will do my utmost to pursuade stubborn sod to make an appearance

trendaverter · 13/06/2007 10:57

Hey Tallulah,
I think it might be worth having one anyway, if it works for me or not.

I regret not forcing my MW to do it last week, if only for peace of mind that there is nothing wrong as such.

It gets easier waiting don't worry! The hardest bit is well meaning friends and family calling me ALL THE TIME asking if anything is happening, I mean it's nice to be popular but I am feeling like a broken record!

bumperlicious · 13/06/2007 11:11

Hi all

Congratulations trace2 I hope chloe is ok, and that you are too - come and tells us the details when you feel up to it!

BZ, so glad your mum has come round. Hope you are doing ok.

Foxy, glad you are enjoying your CD. The woman is damned annoying, but strangely mesmerising after a while. I only have to hear her voice now and I'm nearly out for the count!

My bloody mother rang again this morning to check that I hadn't gone into labour without telling her. I told her this is going to get pretty boring soon as I'm not due for nearly a week yet (she did the same when we were TTC!). She woke up with pains in her stomach and thought it was a premonition She said "ooh, do you think I'm acting out your issues" I said I don't have any bloody issues - I am calmly pottering around waiting for this baby with lots of happy hormones keeping me going - she's the one with bloody issues! She said "well, I've been in therapy 8 years, I don't have any issues!" Really? Could have fooled me! Arrrrggggggghhhhhhhhh.

bumperlicious · 13/06/2007 11:13

Hi TA - sorry you are still stuck on antenatal with us! Best bet would be to switch all your phones off! Why do people keep ringing up asking? "Yes we had the baby a week ago but thought it's be fun not to tell anyone"!
