DesperateDerlor · 02/06/2007 21:28

obviously the article i read with those statistics was a load of shite!!!!

trendaverter · 02/06/2007 21:30

lol @ Derlor & Foxy
come on now girls

hollyandalice · 02/06/2007 21:30

I am going to have to sleep on the sofa tonight coz dp has moved everything out of the bedroom and there is still crap all over the floor! He is has been working super hard though, bless him!

Those girls on big brother are so dull and stupid. It is seriously boring! I was really looking forward to having something to watch in the summer, but not this shite!

trendaverter · 02/06/2007 21:32

I particularly liked that girl who rated herself 10/10 for intelligence and started talking about the 'new' music scene, that stuff called 'indie'.

They are shockingly stupid and annoying, I am getting violent thoughts about the twins, but maybe a bit of me is jealous, my legs are as wide as theirs are long....

hollyandalice · 02/06/2007 21:36

Oh yeah the 'new' indie music! What the stuff I have been listening to since the early 90's?! I am a massive indie music fan and that pissed me off the little skinny twat! They are all skinny twats TBH! "Oooo I want to be a WAG!!" WTF!!

trendaverter · 02/06/2007 21:39

lol, passionate Holly perhaps?

Perhaps to her, 'Blur' is just a term other people use to describe her brain activity?

bumperlicious · 02/06/2007 21:40

According to my MIL all 6 of her children came on their due date I think 50 odd years has dulled her memory!

I was only 1 day late though. Is their anything in family history having an affect?

hollyandalice · 02/06/2007 21:40

Yep! Dp told me I was still living in the 90's the other day coz I had no idea about any new music or bands! It made me lol as he is 11 years older than me!

trendaverter · 02/06/2007 21:42

Well apparently I was 6 weeks early so I think I missed the genetic stuff this time

lilKelBel · 02/06/2007 21:44

can I get a big

AAAAAAAARRRRRRRRSSSSSSSSEEEEEEEEEE please?

DesperateDerlor · 02/06/2007 21:44

what's up lilkel????

bumperlicious · 02/06/2007 21:45

Arrrrrrrrrrrsssssssseeeeee!

(Why lilkel - evrything ok?)

lilKelBel · 02/06/2007 21:47

my stupid farking bullocksy computer is the stupidest blardiest piece of plastic ever!!! why oh why doesn't it just work like it is supposed to?

sorry to interject with this rant ladies - am bit frustrated - and sleep deprived - and facing another night of the dreaded challenge of 'wait motionless and quiet, hoping new baby doesn't wake up 10 times in the night.' I hate this part.

Plus DS now is waking and screaming just for the hell of it at random wee hours of the morning.

Tell me it gets better, please [pleading emoticon}

bumperlicious · 02/06/2007 21:50

Oh, lilkel, sorry no advice just big sleep vibes to you and the DCs!

DesperateDerlor · 02/06/2007 21:50

oh Lilkel ((((((((((((hugs)))))))))))) it does get better i promise - I wouldn't be doing it AGAIN if it didn't

lilKelBel · 02/06/2007 21:53

Re the computer, here's my problem: i wanted to be able to videoconference with my brother in the US tomorrow so I could introduce our little girl, live, at my parent's big 40th wedding anniv party. We were supposed to be there but lo and behold, got preggers instead, so can't come. they've been v understanding, considering we're giving them another grandchild, but it's still a great shame that they've not seen the baby yet nor can we visit for a few weeks. But i just can't get my computer to connect via (AOL AIM) and it's looking like our little video introduction won't happen after all! such a bummer... (end of boring techie ramble)

foxybrown · 02/06/2007 21:54

That's such a shame Lilkel . Any chance at all of getting it sorted?

lilKelBel · 02/06/2007 21:55

thanks for listening - may your babies arrive safe & sound in the night - x

DesperateDerlor · 02/06/2007 21:55

oh dear - definately can't offer any advice with computer stuff - sorry, i have seen techy threads on here before though - worth posting a thread for some help maybe???

foxybrown · 02/06/2007 21:57

(BTW sorry Derlor. Didn't mean to be an arse).

DesperateDerlor · 02/06/2007 21:58

When were you an arse??? what have i missed?

bumperlicious · 02/06/2007 21:59

That's a good idea, sure there are some techy people who can help.

Don't ever feel bad at posting trivial stuff on here - it obviously isn't trivial to you, it's really important. Plus being sleep deprived doesn't help you deal with anything! And besides, where else is it acceptable for us to post on the verge of tears because DH won't get us some ice cream, or that we are worried about stretch marks and other pregnancy trivialities?

foxybrown · 02/06/2007 21:59

by contradicting you with my "my boys were on time comment". can come across as a bit "mother superior" from time to time.

of course I could be being over sensitive, but am feeling a bit self-conscious about it.

bumperlicious · 02/06/2007 22:03

Ok, got to go. DH wants the computer. Hmm now what am I going to do between now and going to bed. Bugger all on TV. Wish I had sky plus.

Lilkel hope you get your VTC sorted, come back and rant on here whenever, until we come and join you on post natal and we are all sleep deprived!

Night all. Hope to see some babies tomorrow!

DesperateDerlor · 02/06/2007 22:03

i never took it that way at all, in liked your contradiction, proves the article i read wrong, big time - no offence taken by me i assure you xx
