i think they might be right on the third baby thing dippy, so far we've had Octo, Pesha, Zazas and you, all on third babies, all with on/off contractions.

That'll be me stopping with 2 then

Contractions have started again - about every 12 mins .... Not getting my hopes up too high after last night though -

Perhaps I'll have an April baby after all!!??

Total bum for you CD! Hope the most recent contractions turn into precious baby very soon.

Had a fit of self pity this morning, sat on bed in pjs and cried like a four year old because baby hadn't miraculously arrived overnight. To his credit, my dh didn't laugh at me. Have demanded we go and do something (anything!) this afternoon to stop me having more tantrums!

Love the positive thinking theory Zazas - I'll give anything a try - and my stars (I'm getting desperate I know) say this week is my full moon week & something major is about to happen so surely that means I won't go too overdue???? I live in hope...

Still having contractions. Have called dreaded MIL - just to "warn" her ..... .....

Have just seen the pictures of Caoimhe and Squish - they are both so lovely!

What's this about his name though, can't follow at the moment? What are the options (Squish isn't really one of them is it??)

Just noticed Indith left a message on the other thread, was going to come looking for you! Hope you don't mind if I miss this week's BnBs , should be there for the next one, if not, definitely the week after as DH will be back at work. Hope you and William are well, I'm looking forward to not being the only bump.

Gabriel was born on 28th April at 10.48am, weighing in at 7 pounds 15. Got my VBAC - hooray - but it did end up being a forceps delivery, and I had a huge cut and stitches, so am very stiff and sore.

No time to catch up on everyone's news, but I see by glancing at my email that we have some other new babies, so Congrats girls. I take it Dippy is still waiting, so good luck to her!

Congrats to everyone who's had their baby in the last couple of days - I think there's too many for me to remember so I won't try!

Bugmum - I'd reccommend CD's advice of pouring witch hazel onto maternity pad, it's very soothing and doesn't sting (I was too scared to do it for 2 days but v glad when i did!)
