OK I have to tell SOMEBODY!! Anyone got a BFP for a New Year Baby??

DH is away at the mo so I just need to imagine I'm talking to someone! Got the positive result Thurs so told him before he went but now have no other adult in the house to talk to for a couple of days about it (obviously not telling the world just yet, only a whole load of total strangers who don't even know who I am...). Have just cleared the fridge of blue cheese and pate To add insult to injury, DH's order of bargain wines arrived today (shoved that straight in the garage - humph)

Have worked out due date from a website to be 31 Dec - 3 Jan. (slightly irregular cycle so might need to adjust for longer cycle length)

Brain is buzzing, have waited a long time for this (nearly 3 years trying) so very very happy, nervous, wishing the next few weeks away.

I do but I think my pregnancy that was due the same year ie ds was born in November seemed alot shorter than the one with dd who was due in April. Going through CVhristmas and New year pregnant made it seem alot longer. Atm I keep thinking Bloody hell i can't have a proper drink until next year now that seems a long , long way away!

I am now after getting over the shock but I won't allow myself to be too excited just yet. I m/c in between my other two so know this is a possibility but instead of worrying for the first trimester like I did with ds i'm taking each day as it comes and figure whatever will be will be. I'm doing all I can I've stopped drinking and smoking, i'm taking my asprin and folic acid and eating healthily there's nothing I can do now but hope everything remains well.

I used to ov as per text beooks, between days 12-16, ds4 was conceived on day 8.

Sorry to hear that, MeTooMaybe. Never say never? I told myself that I should really stop soon as I set an age limit of 40 - all going well, this will arrive 3 months before my 40th! (Of course, if BFing that scuppers a boozy romantic weekend away...)

Thanks Munz. Still early days, hate the niggly crampy feelings as they always make me feel a bit like AF - just would like to wish away a few weeks until I can see a scan & a heartbeat.

Mtm sorry to hear you didn't get the result you wanted . At least give it another month even if you don't ttc as such just don't not ttc I have everything crossed for you that it will happen for you soon. Good Luck.
