DH is away at the mo so I just need to imagine I'm talking to someone! Got the positive result Thurs so told him before he went but now have no other adult in the house to talk to for a couple of days about it (obviously not telling the world just yet, only a whole load of total strangers who don't even know who I am...). Have just cleared the fridge of blue cheese and pate To add insult to injury, DH's order of bargain wines arrived today (shoved that straight in the garage - humph)

Have worked out due date from a website to be 31 Dec - 3 Jan. (slightly irregular cycle so might need to adjust for longer cycle length)

Brain is buzzing, have waited a long time for this (nearly 3 years trying) so very very happy, nervous, wishing the next few weeks away.

I've no idea who you are but many many congratulations and please hunt me down so that I can congratulate you and follow your progress when you revert to your usual self!

Thank you - know it's v v early and all that which is why I'm not posting under my usual name yet - in a few weeks I probably will (unless I forget what I've changed my name to and post on here with my normal one - pregnancy brain has kicked in early - stopped myself putting the milk in the undersink cupoard by mistake earlier - who invented built-in bloody fridges!!)

Metoomaybe - hope you get good news too! When's AF due - or are you late? I tested on the day I was due on - partly because DH was going away that night and I wanted to know before he went, partly because I just had an inkling that I might not be imagining that I felt "different". Looked at the test about 20 times yesterday as still doesn't seem real. Result has disappeared from the little window now so am convinced I'm just imagining it...

ohhh god....I really wantto knwo who you are!!!

thisisnotmyrealMNname · 27/04/2007 23:26

Sorry to frustrate you at bedtime! Don't know why I don't want to post, it's just it doesn't feel quite right - even though I've only ever met one MNer that I know of in RL! Not even sure how many people know of my MN name anyway, but I do pop up on various threads from time to time. (Actually, I'm usually quite good at killing them - but I'm not Threadkiller, that's not meant to be a clue, just the fact that I usually join in at the tail end of a debate!).

Congratulations! I so want to be here with you, fingers crossed I will be in 11 days, we'll see! PMA - helps apparently!

LadyTophamHatt · 28/04/2007 07:15

"Not even sure how many people know of my MN name anyway"

Aha, you see but I said similar a year ago when I found out I was PG.

"I'm not really a prolific poster" or something.

the few people I had told on here were puzzled buthat statement

I said it because I honestly didn't think I was.....the bloody thread went to about 1000 posts!!!

I was majorly

Any chance of a little clue??

FoghornLeghorn · 28/04/2007 07:28

Congratulations

I really want to know who you are too - Have we 'spoke' before ?

ScoobyDooooo · 28/04/2007 07:31

Wow congratulations to you & your family, i hope it works out for you

thisisnotmyrealMNname · 28/04/2007 09:15

Good luck to you MrsMcJnr - hope you get the good news too! Still not seeming real - I am now looking around the house and thinking "why did I do this?!" Major de-cluttering will be required (and assuming all goes well, in a few months breaking the news to DD2 that she will be sharing a room....)

Sorry LadyTopham - no clues! I don't think I know you that well anyway - I'm sure I have come across your name on posts but not regularly.

FoghornLeghorn - I don't think we have spoken before.

I haven't been on any of the TTC threads as I have just been sticking my head in the sand and hoping it would happen (also, I thought I'd get the name-changing bit wrong and "out" myself before I meant to! So have "lurked" on the TTCs for ideas and reassurance but not posted) Actually, it's probably only more like 2 and a bit years not 3 - DD2 is just 4, and we probably started trying when she was around 18 months.

i'm late....i think.

my period came about a week early last month and i was very busy so i didn't keep track of the date i came on.
i have a 31 day cycle, so if i go by an approx date i am late-very late! but if i go by the usual sort of time i'm due...well i guess i'm late as well!!
keep getting feelings like my period is going to start so keep putting off spending a tenner on a test!

i'm probaby not and if i do a test and it's neg then i'll be sad so..

maybe i'll buy one today and do it tomorrow.

ledodgy · 28/04/2007 09:47

I can't be arsed to change my name as I posted on here as soon as I got a bfp on Thursday lol and if it doesn't work out i'll need the online support as well. I'm due around the 6th-10 jan but it's hard to work out as I ovulate early I only concieved on the 14th April and I'm not actually due on till next week! I am feeling very , very sick and have started taking folic acid and low dose asprin due to having sticky blood when pregnant. After getting over the shock slightly i'm now jsut hoping the pregnancy will last. TINMRN i'm dying to know who you are and MTM I hope you get your bfp.

metoomaybe · 28/04/2007 09:50

cheers ledodgy!!! wow-that is amazing-getting a positive so early!!
you must be REALLY pregnant!!!!

i don't have any symptoms at all really.

but i also don't have raging pmt which i normally have!!!

ledodgy · 28/04/2007 09:59

Are you going to test today?

I didn't really test too early as I ovulate on days 10-12 and then still have a 28 day cycle i'm a freak I know so really now it's two weeks since I ovulated so i'm as pregnant as I would be if I had a normal 28 day cycle and I ov'ed on day 14 and was due on iyswim. Confusing I know. With my other two I never felt this sick so early on though.

don't know what to do.
might buy a test today and do it tomorrow am.

ledodgy · 28/04/2007 10:06

If I was i'd pray they would come a few weeks early on Christmas day or a few days early just past midnight on new years day that way I could get myself into the local paper and get loads of free stuff failing that will hang round supermarkets in labour for the same reason.

ledodgy · 28/04/2007 10:07

Test today and if it's negative remember a negative isn't always negative but a positive is always positive. Good Luck and keep us updated.

metoomaybe · 28/04/2007 10:08

it's a myth though you know-my sil's waters broke at the check out in asda and she got nothing! not even a response to the letter she sent thanking them for being so helpful!

ledodgy · 28/04/2007 10:10

pahh Asda i'd set me sights higher than that i'll be hanging round M&S and anywhere else I can't afford to usually food shop.
