Dippy's Here!!!

Katy44 · 22/04/2007 21:15

Hello Dippy
Have you had a baby?
How are you feeling?

oooggs · 22/04/2007 21:15

Hi all - it is getting increasingly difficult to post these days!!!!

Congrats to all new babies

Thanks to Ellie to continue to email us with info - where do you find time hun???? It is much easier to read emails than to trawl through posts

Jack is huge and suffering bad with colic - cries are very upsetting, Erin is just a little madam

EllieKthePA · 22/04/2007 21:15

Maveta, I don't know if they post to where you are or how much for (abroad isn't it?) but Cold Feet is available from dvd.co.uk for £30 last time I looked (I was thinking of getting it too, after watching the first series on a digital TV archive system we have here).

Definitely you need more cheese, my mum was reminding me how important calcium is, and cheese is more concentrated than milk, which I've started drinking again after years of not doing. If you're breastfeeding you'll need it too, so cheese is good, and you can start the diet after that.

I'm so looking forward to daring to have a hot meal regularly and not thinking about type of food, time of day etc etc.

It´s just WEIRD watching Pretty Woman in Spanish.. I keep going to do the whole saying-a-line-at-the-same-time-as-the-character thing but it just doesn´t work. I´m being dubbed!

EllieKthePA · 22/04/2007 21:17

Hi Dippy! Hi Ooogs! Sorry Jack has colic, hope it sorts itself out soon..

Katy44 - I like your theories, esp. the childbirth one.. everyone just pretends to laugh at it because we aren´t in the club yet.. LOL - just had an image of you screaming at the midwife - "WHEN ARE THEY GOING TO TELL ME IT´S ALL A RUSE??!"

Elkiedee - I like your thinking girl! Cheese is good for so many reasons...

Katy44 · 22/04/2007 21:20

That could be the curry mind
No, it wasn't too hot cos then I wouldn't be able to eat it! I thought better to eat most of a fairly spicy one than a little bit of a very spicy one. I'm a wimp

Emmymummy · 22/04/2007 21:21

Michael Burke? Now that's just ridiculous.

Pinions · 22/04/2007 21:22

Michael Burke god if its the one I think it is.

Now the other newsreader.......Mark Austen is ummm something about him too......

Just googled and doesn't bring him up i'm sure thats his name.....apparently went to uni with my dad so prob about 60 too....god i like older men but........???

Katy44 · 22/04/2007 21:22

maveta - or holding a mother hostage saying "tell me the secrets, tell me the secrets!"
No, my older man secret crush (if I had to pick one) would be the guy out of Star Trek...can't remember his name!

EllieKthePA · 22/04/2007 21:23

but true, it was before my mum left so she was about 10 at the time, named a teddy after him and allsorts!

Emmymummy · 22/04/2007 21:23

Katy44 · 22/04/2007 21:23

Michael Burke the Teddy? That's just strange!

Katy44 · 22/04/2007 21:24

No, he has hair, hang on...

EllieKthePA · 22/04/2007 21:24

maveta · 22/04/2007 21:24

LOL at the lot of you

I SO don´t have a thing about older men, not in the slightest.

elkiedee · 22/04/2007 21:24

Maveta, dvd.co.uk does ship to Spain, and Virgin Megastore is also selling for £30, don't know how much they charge for postage though, hope it's less than £20. I know play.com was free for a lot of Europe, but they're charging over £50 for Cold Feet so that doesn't work out.

Pinions · 22/04/2007 21:24

ELLIE YOU ARE MAD.

CaptainDippy · 22/04/2007 21:25

Sorry - was just checking email and making a 'phone call....
