Hi Katy44 - super hot I assume?? Sounds lovely.. mmmm.. curry.

Ellie - a life? a LIFE? What´s that then? Think I misplaced mine several months ago. I will be very jealous if there´s still people at this stage of pregnancy that have even the slightest HINT of a life.. Humpf.

So far today I´ve done the long walk, the bouncing on an exercise ball and the sex (woohoo) but although I feel quite ´heavy´ now, I can´t say it feels like anything is going to happen in the near future. Sigh. Have planned a few things to do over the next few days to keep me busy but must say it´s getting harder to think of stuff to do.

Am thinking of buying the complete Cold Feet to get me through sleepless nights and breastfeeding.. about 50quid.. do you reckon it´s worth it?

I asked Dh for some cheese and he brought me one slice. Because I´ve eaten already apparently (cucumber, carrots and houmous). What shall his punishment be?

EllieKthePA · 22/04/2007 21:00

Awww you say the sweetest things Ellie XXX

Am just loitering too. Also about to watch the Stephen Fry thing, although I won't if it delays labour....

Emmymummy · 22/04/2007 21:02

Maveta, go and sit on him. You have a right to cheese. The diet doesn't start until the baby is OUT!

EllieKthePA · 22/04/2007 21:03

i know [smug emoticon]

EllieKthePA · 22/04/2007 21:05

Emmymummy · 22/04/2007 21:06

No fair Ellie. Some of us are struggling to fit into maternity clothes

EllieKthePA · 22/04/2007 21:07

i did my time, was in 1 pair of joggers by the time i gave birth!

OP posts:
Emmymummy · 22/04/2007 21:09

LOL, oh good, as am sitting here in my most comfy pair of joggers as we speak. And flip flops and a v. attractive green vest. Boy I look HOT!!!

elkiedee · 22/04/2007 21:09

I was lying on the sofa watching Wife Swap, a particularly startling episode too. Now I'm watching something about the invention of shopping as a leisure activity.... something I've given up both out of fatigue and because spending as much money as previously, especially CDs and DVDs, just seemed daft. I've bought some, and a few books, but a big reduction by normal standards. I still like Ilkley's charity shops, but that's because my mum is only 5 mins walk from Ilkley town centre and when I don't have to rush walking around is much better there than in London.

Bet I'll be waiting longer than you, Maveta.

Pinions · 22/04/2007 21:09

My goodness you've broken the monopoly there Maveta.I've even had to stop feeding to catch up with convo!!!

Think clearly think clearly. Forget it.

Feeling REALLY guilty now cos bubba looking at me as if to say ^what" are doing pick me up FGS women.

LURVE Stephen Fry and even have a very secret cruch on him (i know i know), is he gay???

Ellie if its a case of being in denial just a gentle reminder that you HAVE had your baby now........lol.

Maveta the only thing that will get you through a sleepless night is in fact sleep allbeit 10 mins of it so definitely do NOT waste £50 on Cold Feet.

And ellie thanks for the wise words keep them coming please....

Speaking of diets mine has been postponed - for now lol......

Off to google Stephen Fry has it started already............??????

maveta · 22/04/2007 21:10

Sorry Emmymummy - was off getting a Calipo ice lolly from the kitchen... and sitting on dh

Katy44 · 22/04/2007 21:11

Sitting on him?

Emmymummy · 22/04/2007 21:12

Pinions - he IS gay!!!

Emmymummy · 22/04/2007 21:12

Not Maveta's dh, by the way...

Katy44 · 22/04/2007 21:13

OK, along with my "birth's not that bad but they keep it a secret" fantasy, another one has occurred to me in the last couple of days.
There's a sure way to bring on labour, but it takes a while to figure it out, which is why most first timers are late, but second timers tend to be on time. I'll still be trying to figure it out at the end of May!
(Not sure what happened to Kitty, when she was waiting for number 6, that kind of wrecks that theory!)

EllieKthePA · 22/04/2007 21:13

suggested punishment for not getting maveta her cheese katy

OP posts:
Pinions · 22/04/2007 21:14

Oh well still have my secret cruch maybe I could "turn" him.

EllieKthePA · 22/04/2007 21:14

sorry katy, if only that theory were true (if it is i don't know the secret!)

OP posts:
maveta · 22/04/2007 21:14

Well, that´s what Emmymummy told me to do! Just following orders. Didn´t get me more cheese though. hence the ice lolly. It´s hard to type while eating a Calipo.. I keep shoving the whole thing in my mouth and then getting frozen teeth. I think my problem solving skills leave something to be desired..

Elkiedee - RACE YOU!

Pinions - Stephen Fry?? REALLY??

Katy44 · 22/04/2007 21:14

Ah, I wondered if it was the secret thing
