@shaaan1329 Try not to worry, I know it’s hard but at least they are keeping an eye on you and are checking it all out. I’m. Im not sure how accurate the fundal height thing is anyway, My mw struggles to find my fundal height and takes an average of three measurements Try not to think about it. I’m certainly no expert but I have had friends that have carried small and had barely 6lbers and friends who have carried very large and had 10-11lbers. All have been healthy full terms babies.

It's a girl gruffalosoldier what about you?

It's starting to feel a bit 'real' now. Scared and excited in equal measure!

Just to keep you updated @klaw87 has had a beautiful baby boy on the 16th at 32+2 they are both doing really well but he is being given oxygen and being monitored. Shes asked we update here for her from the facebook page as understandable she has a lot going on! Her little man was impatient for Mummy and Daddy cuddles!

Whoever asked about pelvic girdle pain, I second everything MegRam said, plus yoga (only poses that don't hurt down there!) Also I take a bath to relax the muscles in and around my pelvis if it's really hurting. I've had PGP since 20 weeks and a job that involves lots of standing and walking, and I think it has helped to keep moving (but also taking sit down breaks frequently).

Haha is it @WLMcl? I'm keeping everything crossed this little one doesn't decide to make a Christmas Day appearance!!

Has anyone thought about what they'd like for Christmas? I'd like stuff that's useful for me either pre baby when on mat leave to relax, or after when baby is here. Am trying to declutter so want to be practical about "stuff". So far I've thought mani/pedi and books!

What I'd like for Christmas is a decent nights sleep, not sure even Santa can magic that for me! 😂

Has anyone been thinking about how they will get to hospital when they go into labour?

Dh doesn't drive, I'm not going to be able to drive myself, mum lives half an hour away and might not be able to come at short notice.

So what do I do call a taxi? Even more scary is what if I am on my own and dh is at work? I'll have to get there by myself and I'm worried it'll be really quick and I'll end up delivering at hime alone or worse in the back if a taxi! Would a taxi even agree to take me if I'm in labour?

I know this probably sounds a bit silly and panicky but I hadn't thought about it till now, so I'm a bit like oh right what will I actually do?!

rose I'm asking my parents for stuff for the baby and/or money (for the baby). Don't think DH and I will do presents this year... DS will be at his dad's for Christmas and DH and I will be on lock-down in case I go in to labour early!

maybe taxi! I am NOT faffing about with parking and traffic etc when I can just call an uber that will come in 5 min. I live in London though and giving birth at Chelsea & Westminster where there's basically no parking so it's very common for women to go to/from hospital in a taxi. Just remember to bring your car seat or the hospital won't let you leave!

The other half will be taking me as he drives if he's not available it will be mum, if they are both in work I would call my nan but her and my grandad like to go the long way everywhere and at a snail's pace so taxi if mum or partner can't
