I think we might be sisters .....

EllieKthePA · 02/04/2007 23:12

are you a self-centred hypercondriac then cd? cos my sis is

CaptainDippy · 02/04/2007 23:12

I AM NOT NORMAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

CaptainDippy · 02/04/2007 23:12

Yes - as well as being a Walrus ...

EllieKthePA · 02/04/2007 23:13

do you go to your playgroup christmas party in a long silver jumper, tights and ankle boots, nothing else, for 3 years running? she did that too!

if not, you count as normal

CaptainDippy · 02/04/2007 23:14

I am a perfectly "normal" parent, after all my three yr old asked my DH if "daddy shakes his willy" at the dinner table today.

How civilised.

EllieKthePA · 02/04/2007 23:14

or drive a bright blue minibus?

CaptainDippy · 02/04/2007 23:15

Apparently "her pants were hidiing" earlier on today too....

EllieKthePA · 02/04/2007 23:15

at least it was in the privacy of your own home, be thankful for small mercys

Pinionsrus · 02/04/2007 23:15

So are you and Stephen still an item then. And don't get me wrong i always think its really funny when people split up but stay in touch with XP's familes/mums etc, or did you just get on really well or something? Not that theres anything wrong with it.

God what is it with families and I thought that mine were bad. As the old saying goes you can chose your friends but not your family.

Dippy - I remember you mentioned your family being useless in the past, but your DH's aswell - you're usually blessed with at least ONE decent set of parents!

As for your Ellie ermmmmmm? Not too sure on that one apart - condom keyrings to 9 year olds?

You 2 are too quick at posting. When we're talking "serious" it takes me twice the time cos I don't want to offend anyone!

EllieKthePA · 02/04/2007 23:16

my mum has now progressed.........

to a ford transit bus that tows a caravan with canoes on the roof

CaptainDippy · 02/04/2007 23:16

I don't want parents. I'd rather have a cat.

CaptainDippy · 02/04/2007 23:17

See!

EllieKthePA · 02/04/2007 23:19

no, we're not together but we are still friends. have seen him every weekend since but not as much as before.

i get on ok with MIL but i'm not really going because of that, she called me for the first time since justin told them we'd split (3 months after he left) yesterday just to tell me she's there if i need her and won't ask any questions. i'm going more because i want baby to have one set of 'decent' grandparents in his life!

matthew's paternal grandparents are really good with him - thankfully

EllieKthePA · 02/04/2007 23:19

cd, that is just odd

CaptainDippy · 02/04/2007 23:19

No - Ellie and Stephen are just friends now Pinions ....

Nope - not blessed in the parental dept I'm afraid; but have lovely DH and beautiful children so can't complain too much. (They might turn me into a frog and squish me....)

Although I have nearly run out of Mini Eggs .....

EllieKthePA · 02/04/2007 23:20

and we're only quick cos we're talking shite

that and i can touch-type.

CaptainDippy · 02/04/2007 23:20

I AM odd.

CaptainDippy · 02/04/2007 23:21

I AM NOT TALKING SHITE.

I MAKE PERFECT SENSE!

CaptainDippy · 02/04/2007 23:21
Hmm
EllieKthePA · 02/04/2007 23:21

we ARE, honest

well i haven't had it for months now anyway

EllieKthePA · 02/04/2007 23:22

CD
you admitted to being a walrus
and wanting cats instead of parents

lets just reflect on that shall we

CaptainDippy · 02/04/2007 23:22

Oh dear! What are the others going to think when they read all this tomorrow.

EllieKthePA · 02/04/2007 23:23

i am starting to notice a worrying pattern to the weird conversations on here

they always seem to involve me

Pesha · 02/04/2007 23:23

They should call them crunchy peanut cornflakes!
