I love it too, i love our 'cuddly, fluffy' supportive ante natal club and soon to be post natal club but i also love the straight talking, piss taking, have a good rant/argument and get it all out your system side as well. You just have to remember which bit is which!

AngeG · 28/03/2007 13:46

Just read those thread. PMSL

bEllieK · 28/03/2007 13:52

i really think the ante-natal threads are the best way to introduce yourself to MN, it's very scary out there!

flumppootle · 28/03/2007 13:55

Was having a GGRRR & RRRAAAAAAAAA day but now PSML at those threads
Fabulous!

Pesha · 28/03/2007 13:55

And that way you avoid posting under the influence until you've been here long enough to know what you're doing. Unfortunately i wasnt pg when I discovered mn so wasnt spared that mistake Had a different name then tho so dont go searching

bEllieK · 28/03/2007 13:58

Pesha · 28/03/2007 14:07

ANYONE ABOUT???????????? BABY ALERT

just going to type it up

oooggs · 28/03/2007 14:59

Just had a text from Mammyjo -

"whoever said she was going to have her baby on wednesday was right! A baby girl 8lb 1oz, Ffion May, born after only four hour labour! Having to stay in hospital for her to have some antibiotics but she seems fine at the moment."

How exciting - anyone fancy being my 'stand in buddy' cos I think mammyjo may be a bit busy tomorrow & Friday

hotlipsmummy · 28/03/2007 15:01

Hooray, congratulations MammyJo! Keep 'em coming (although not mine for another couple of weeks until the builders have finished!!).

Eddas · 28/03/2007 15:02

I knew there'd be another one today

Congrats to mammyjo

bEllieK · 28/03/2007 15:03

oooggs · 28/03/2007 15:08

email sent cheers ellie, how exciting mammyjo's text woke me up!!!!!!! but deffo worth it

nellyhel · 28/03/2007 15:17

Mammyjo - congratulations and well done !! I was just having a quick check of posts today so timed that nicely for some good news. We're doing not badly since it is still March I think?

Highlight of my very uneventful day - I finally got my hands on some raspberry leaf tablets. An early arrival is more than welcomed by me if anyone is listening . Reminds me - I must go and make sure my calendar is up to date with everything for the next couple of weeks just in case I am not here to organise... (wishful thinking I expect).

Best wishes and hugs to all the new babies xx

bumble75 · 28/03/2007 15:20

Was going to come on for a quick moan (awful day - dh had to meet with b*stard employers who just made him redundant and are now making him get employment lawyers to sort it all out etc, etc) but how can I stay moany with rofl 'daft' thread and all this lovely new baby chat??

Yay for Mammyjo (crying now, but in yay for new babies to make everything ok way) and all the best to you Ooogs for tomorrow!

Pesha, after reading your email, would be raging as well!

nuttygirl - finger crossed the toothache stays gone...

octopussyinyummyeastereggs · 28/03/2007 15:20

CONGRATULATIONS MAMMYJO

Excellent news - so exciting!

Have been to soft play and bounced about, crawled through ball pits etc - tired now and grumpy! DS2 watching tv so am going to do nothing for 1/2 hour til ds1 gets home, give them tea, clean the bathrooms and take them to football... early night tonight - have decided that if stay up past 9pm the contractions start - so if already asleep may not happen LOL!

Eddas · 28/03/2007 15:25

Oooggs, in the excitement of the news i forgot to say good luck for tomorrow. Fingers crossed your induction works quickly and with as little pain as possible

IsabellyMoi · 28/03/2007 15:27

Congrats Mammyjo! Lovely name. Looking forward to more details.

LesleyR · 28/03/2007 15:29

Congratulations Mammyjo.

6 babies and 5 of them girls, those expecting boys need to get busy catching up.

Don't know yet what I'm having but wouldn't mind if it wants to arrive early. Feel huge and yucky and uncomfortable today.
