Bellie when we starting this post-natal thread do you think?

bEllieK · 29/03/2007 23:01

no, he was very early, born at 34 weeks but ok now, she was a pretty irregular poster before that tho, guess some people just have a life

Pinionsrus · 29/03/2007 23:03

LOL so what are you saying!?!?

bEllieK · 29/03/2007 23:03

not yet, it's not really our place to as we're still antenatal

personally i'd like to stay on this one, i don't think i'll be going to postnaatal til we've all 'popped', don't like the thought of 'splitting' the group IYKWIM

Good evening all

Congratulations Autumnlover

Pesha - if you are coming in from the motorway do Lansdown Park & Ride - if coming in from anywhere else - go to Charlotte Street car park - huge long stay car park next to Victoria Park. Let me know if you are about and will pop in for a coffee

RUH has had a big infection scare - so bit worried about the whole bugs thing again!

I am wide awake as had such a big sleep earlier - but if don;t go to sleep soon my whole clock will be buggered.

Anyone else up?

bEllieK · 29/03/2007 23:04

Just me and bellie octo.

bEllieK · 29/03/2007 23:05

don't have a job now! have pretty much always worked in admin, brief spell as nursery assistant. been temping since June so now on Mat leave and will re-think when the time comes

OP posts:
bEllieK · 29/03/2007 23:07

but i would really love to be a PA so I guess i should be flattered!

OP posts:
Pinionsrus · 29/03/2007 23:09

So can you claim maternity allowance/pay? I used to temp and loved it cos it meant that you never really got bored and could move around all over the place. They make a packet off you though, from what I remember?

Pinionsrus · 29/03/2007 23:09

Yeh I think your next role should deffo be PA, just bump up your cv a little!!!

octopussyinyummyeastereggs · 29/03/2007 23:10

Bath does look much better on the birth certificate than swindon LOL (sorry flumpootle!)

Pinionsrus · 29/03/2007 23:12

Other end of the country octo!

bEllieK · 29/03/2007 23:12

mine were making £4.50 an hour off me! I get full mat leave/pay, and i've been on the same contract since June so hasn't really been like temping. I won't be able to do it after tho, am on my own so can't have the uncertainty and don't want to work fulltime

OP posts:
bEllieK · 29/03/2007 23:13

ooh, is flump in swindon?

OP posts:
octopussyinyummyeastereggs · 29/03/2007 23:13

Who is other end of country? Has flump moved already???

octopussyinyummyeastereggs · 29/03/2007 23:14

Well she was last week LOL!

Pinionsrus · 29/03/2007 23:15

Thats good about your maternity pay. As for working fulltime I agree I could never do that either, TBH it doesn't always make sense money wise IYKWIM. I am sure that you will sort something out one way or another. Is your little boy at school/pre-school.

bEllieK · 29/03/2007 23:15

remind me to ask her tomorrow if she saw the bbc news!

OP posts:
octopussyinyummyeastereggs · 29/03/2007 23:15

She may have seen your mum! Do I get to join the psychic group now???!!!!

Pinionsrus · 29/03/2007 23:16

God I've got u all confused I meant both Bath and Swindon other end of the country to here - Leeds!!!

octopussyinyummyeastereggs · 29/03/2007 23:16

duh - x post! I thought she was moving after baby was born.

octopussyinyummyeastereggs · 29/03/2007 23:18

Yes am confused Opinions! I thought ellies bil drove her sister to Bath from swindon because it is posher????!! Though I think the new hospital in snwindon is probably much cleaner.

bEllieK · 29/03/2007 23:20

he did
she had the first one at swindon but they didn't pander to her nonsense as much as she'd have liked so she made him take her to bath for the next one
