Ok, got bored of waiting for you all and started a new thread while it's quiet!

OOh ice for me please Ellie. I love crunching ice cubes.

Emmymummy · 24/03/2007 20:09

Ellie, you've got me on the ice now. Keep crunching my way through the stuff and Em usually joins me. Could do with chips/shards of ice rather than whole ice cubes though. Need to bash them up somehow....

Eddas · 24/03/2007 20:10

I'll chuck you some CD, share with your dh if you like

octopussyinyummyeastereggs · 24/03/2007 20:12

ooh emmymummy they are also doing buy 4 get cheapest one free - I have been through catalogue and circled the things I want - think there was a crinkley blue wrap dress, a long beige skirt with embroidery on, 3/4 length minky coloured jeans and a zip through cardy! Didn;t look at prices as completely skint and dh would go absolutely nuts! Offer runs til 22 june tho!

How about - what are your favourite baby items you have bought?

  1. Lulasapphire swaddle blankets
  2. Natalia bottom butter
  3. noo noo
CaptainDippy · 24/03/2007 20:12

Oh. Oh. Oh. Dropped a pink one!!

It's ok, DH has eaten it (after blowing off lfuff) - It is his fave colour!!

Glad you've had such a slobby day EM!

CaptainDippy · 24/03/2007 20:13

Haven't bought any new baby items at all!!

octopussyinyummyeastereggs · 24/03/2007 20:13

I could do with some ice for my feet!

octopussyinyummyeastereggs · 24/03/2007 20:14

CD - thought that when posted it - what are your favourite 3 items you have kept from dds?

geordiemacminx · 24/03/2007 20:14

found a lovely website called totsplanet.co.uk if any one is after nice baby stuff.

also moimoimoi.co.uk

EllieK · 24/03/2007 20:14

you are not having my ice for your feet octo

it's precious don't you know

Emmymummy · 24/03/2007 20:15

Octo, I'm terrible for that too, except I attach post-its to the catalogue to indicate the things I'd like. Dh found one of my tagged up ones the other day and his face was a picture (only about £400's worth ). Obviously I won't be buying anywhere near that amount of stuff, but I can look right?

CaptainDippy · 24/03/2007 20:16

Mmmmmmmmmmmm.......

octopussyinyummyeastereggs · 24/03/2007 20:16

Would rather you saved it for a very large G&T!

EllieK · 24/03/2007 20:16

CaptainDippy · 24/03/2007 20:16

Fave items kept from DD's .......

Are we talking sentimental or practical????

geordiemacminx · 24/03/2007 20:16

for those of us born in the 80's...

this rocks!!!

ibiza baby

Emmymummy · 24/03/2007 20:19

My fave thing we've bought for the baby is the buggy - can't wait to use it. Bebe Confort Loola or something like that (all packed away still), but seems really easy to put up/down, clip various bits into & out of and maneouvre.

Also like the new sling - one of the ones that go across the body so the baby is all snugged up in a foetal position, looks so cosy!

CaptainDippy · 24/03/2007 20:20

GMM - that is terrible!!

Emmymummy · 24/03/2007 20:20

Cute toddler arse though CD!

Emmymummy · 24/03/2007 20:21

EllieK · 24/03/2007 20:23

EllieK - get the shopping out the car and tell us everything!

GMM

CD - sentimental stuff

CaptainDippy · 24/03/2007 20:24

Sentimental:

1.) Sooo glad I kept their cord clips and the wee tags they had on their wrists / ankles in the hospital (& mine too!)

2.) We've got this "early baby" sized jumper that DD2 wore LOADS when she was 1st born - It is soooooo dinky - proper "dolly sized" - So glad we kept it (nearly gave it to friend when she had her preemie!)

3.) Handprint and Footprints from newborn - precious.

Pracitcal:

1.) Steribottles from Mothercare (for after I finished BF DD2)

2.) Coccon from my Phil and teds - incredible invention - holdall for a newborn - great stuff!

3.) Stretchy blankets for swaddling (fitted up til 6m!!!)

That's no particular order btw!

octopussyinyummyeastereggs · 24/03/2007 20:24

Shit - my atwsers just broke

EllieK · 24/03/2007 20:25
