I'm just taking folic acid on its own at the moment as I'm getting loads of vitamin D with travel for work. I've been on it for ages so don't think it will be that. Got pregnacare waiting at home so I hope it doesn't make it worse! To be honestly I've had this issue on and off for the whole pregnancy, but it's only in the last few days I've been getting the cramps as well.

I'm getting another sick note tomorrow I feel so bad for work! I never have time off :(

@flossyfloss have u still not heard about your harmony result, I figure I'll get my closely after yours seeing as I did it on the Sunday

I'm also getting a bit more cramps lately a lot of it's to do with bloating and when I was puking before got a real twisty pain

Victoria if I didn't work part time from home I'd have had sick days too as it is I can go to sleep for two hours and finish off my work day later as I'm flexi time

Not yet Rose the wait is killing me!

I've been signed off a month now as the HG is so debilitating, luckily work are very supportive. Must be terrible for those who don't have a supportive boss :(

Is anyone else midlands? I think i might be the only one?

@Victoriaaaaaaaa I sympathise with the tiredness, i feel like I'm wading through treacle. Everything takes so much concentration which wears me out even more, then I never feel like I've slept enough. I look forward to the weekends when I can have a nap (if DS does)!

Got given some gavicson on prescription today and included in my prescription bag was a box of contraceptive pills?!

Well they might come in handy after the baby I suppose Victoria?!! (Clutching at straws!!)
I'm sat on the plane starting my epic 20 hour journey back from Korea. So glad to be going home!!!!

Hi all, new to this. I had a dating scan today the lady wrote in my notes XXCOMPXY I haven't got a clue what this means,does anyone else? Then the lady that took my notes and blood said "oh so could be another girl for you"!!? I just smiled and felt confused.

Loulou welcome! I guess you're new to MN, but not new to motherhood! I have not a clue what most of the notations are meant to be in my green folder notes lol. They're pretty illegible. But I don't see anything like that in mine.

I had a bit of a scare--last night the dog jumped up at me as I was sitting putting my shoes on (he was excited as I was just home from work and we were about to go for a walk) and he landed on my stomach. I happen to know (because I've given blood) that I'm rhesus negative, so I rang the EPU and they had me come in for blood test in case there was any internal bleed; very dangerous if baby's blood were to mix with mine. They gave me the anti-D injection to be on the safe side, but they had no sign anything was wrong. They didn't do a scan, but it really wasn't a major trauma so I'm trying to be positive about it (he's not a heavy dog and it didn't knock the breath out of me). Just everything throws me into a panic! I feel absolutely wiped out and like I could sleep from now to Monday...

I'm so in love... I got put on 12 January as my due date, so if it could be changed from the 10th on the next list update?

Had my 12 week scan last Friday, they put me forward to 2nd Jan which was a surprise, but I'm tall, as is my daughter so I suspect it's just another long baby and won't come much earlier than I expected! I have no idea how to post the pic from my phone, but it's not great as baby kept turning its back on us

My dates have been brought forward both times @PurplePoppySeed , but I've given birth on my original dates. I know they say that the first 12 weeks are pretty universal for growth/development but both my babies were 9lb so I think they were just big all along 😁

Thanks eek I gave birth about a week after my original date but closer to their estimate, however she was big, had loads of hair and meconium which are all signs of a late baby so who knows!

I've ignored the thread so long it removed itself from my active list! Here I am place marking again.

Quick update of things - 11+2. Had a private scan yesterday and all looks well - NHS scan is next Wednesday.

I'm feeling awful, sore, emotionally drained and my SPD is horrendous! Walking is a killer, as is stairs, sleeping and moving in general .

I can't wait for January!!

Great news on all the good scans! Mine was the same PurplePoppy, which is why I never posted the pic (it's all just a disjointed blur).

I'm 14 weeks here. Just wondering if anyone else is on the combined antenatal/parentcraft route called the Solihull approach (on NHS)? It's being trialled here in NI and I'm in the first group of guinea pigs! It means we all have our antenatal appointments pre-scheduled, so that's handy for work, and don't have to make separate appointments for parentcraft.

Also I may have gone overboard with the maternity shoppingonly went in for a pair of jeans and yoga pantsbut the Belfast H&M were having a clearance (in store)! It was mostly cool weather stuff as I think it's the winter/spring range, cha-ching! No idea if this is universal or not, but it was certainly good timing. We're going on holiday in 10 days and I can only wear 1 pair of jeans, and most of my tops are not long enough to cover my rubber-band contraption at the waistband...
