I have posted a sharp response to someone on a nappy thread asking about advisors - it is so unnecessary to knock other nappy businesses - really egts on my tits. Don't hink I was too harsh though! - sorry can't do links!

Katy44 · 17/03/2007 22:21

Tomorrow - am hoping for very long lie in, breakfast in bed, long bath, roast dinner, peace and quiet, followed by my nct relaxation class and then sloppy guiseppe pizza and maybe a glass of bubbly

Fanko · 17/03/2007 22:31

Apparently Pesha means easter in Svensk Romani Hence this

Am actually bit disappointed how many things there are for Pesha, thought it was something i made up from dd and ds' middle names (peter and natasha).

Morning weeonion
Yes I do
Pesha, how did you get on with the quiz?

Sexonslightlypuffylegs · 18/03/2007 08:04

Morning nutcases, and a big Happy Mothers Day!!!

The sun is still shining here, and we all had a good nights' sleep and everyone seems HAPPY! Hurrah!

Had a lovely card from B. It was v funny, as yesterday we all went in to town, and whilst I sat in the coffee shop B and dh went off. They came back and B said, "mummy, I have a secret". She put her hands over her face, and said "you've got a card!". I thought it was so sweet - she obviousy thought that if she covered her face over, then it didn't count!!

Love her.

Anyway, hope everyone has a lovely day. See you all later. xx

weeonion · 18/03/2007 08:04

well missykaty with your over indulgence and booze last night i hope you are indeed feeling a bit rough! such undignified behaviour from a young lady in your condition!!!!!!!

Katy44 · 18/03/2007 08:09

Urgh!
I slept really badly - dreamt I'd gone into labour and it was awful! I had had to be induced which seemed to do very little, and all I seemed to do was sit in a waiting room waiting to be examined (for days on end). DH wasn't allowed to be there. If I nipped out to go to the toilet or make a phone call, I missed my place in the queue.
SOSPL - I remember that from when I was little - if you were playing hide and seek and lay on the sofa with your face down no-one could see you Glad you are having a good day.

CaptainDippy · 18/03/2007 08:42

Morning!! Yes, I did enjoy this with my custard and chocolate in bed last night!!

PMSL when I read this his morning - you guys are mental!!

Right, gotta go and get ready for the day .....

CaptainDippy · 18/03/2007 08:43

DH forgot Mothering Sunday.

(Do you think I should say anything??)

CaptainDippy · 18/03/2007 08:44

.... but Happy Mothering Sunday to all you lovely Yummy Mummies (and Yummy Mummies-to-be!!) I'm not bitter.....

Katy44 · 18/03/2007 08:48

CD - yes, you definitely should, just ask what day it is

claricebean · 18/03/2007 08:56

Happy Mother's Day everyone. It's not Mother's Day (bizarrely it's Father's Day tomorrow), but I'm with you in spirit. And speaking of mothers, mine is coming out tomorrow - yippee. The cavalry. She's staying until the following Tuesday, when my MIL arrives, who is staying until the day after my mum comes back with my cousin a week after that. So cover until 10th April!!! EDD 4th. Hopefully a fit and well husband will reappear at some point during that. Even with help at home and childcare cover, I don't fancy actually doing labour alone.

Hope you all have a lovely relaxing and pampering day. We are going to friends for lunch.

CD - perhaps your DH is leading up to a surprise later ????

CaptainDippy · 18/03/2007 08:59

Hurrah CB - that is good stuff! Glad you are not going to be alone at this time! How is DH doing?? Which Father's Day / Mothering Sunday are you celebrating then?? How confusing ....

"Leading up to a surprise later" - ha, ha, don't make me laugh - Nope. He definitely forgotten.
