Got my booking in and scan appointments this morning, and the prescription exemption....all feels very real now! We'll kind of.... lol

Still nothing about my early scan so going to chase up the epu AGAIN on Monday! 🙄

It doesn't feel quite real for me yet...doctors appointment the week after next! Got stomach and headaches more or less continuously...was feeling incredibly tired this morning but perked up after lunch.

I'm out tonight for a friends birthday bug birthday...so the white lies will commence! DP, best mate and her DP will assist in me drinking 'G&Ts' tonight! Then I'm planning on using the 'detox' card for a while. Any tips on this??

6+2 today, still not feeling real yet but I have my first midwife appointment when I'm 8 weeks so it's not that far away now.

The sickness has well and truly hit and I'm exhausted all of the time. I guess I'd rather have symptoms than nothing though as it least it's something to tell me it's not all in my mind.

@jlr Medication is my go-to excuse right now.

I got my BFP today ... at 4.30am!
My LB woke up but went straight back to sleep and I'm 2 days late so poas. And we haven't been back to sleep since.
I poas yesterday but it was BFN but I didn't believe it, it didn't feel right!

I'm due 29th December. My lb will be 2 9th Jan! 😬

We were only trying for 3 months, same as last time! We must be very predictable!

Also a teacher so drI asking the next few weeks. I was so tired during the first trimester last time and felt sick every morning after my shower (over heated!) thank god for air con on my classroom! 😀

Feeling proper sick in the mornings now....bleurgh.
I have a wine tasting event this thursday - i might actually have to spit it out for once!

My nausea seems to come in waves throughout the day 😒 eating little bits at a time seems to be the only thing that helps.

Freaking out a little this evening, started having some pains by my hip on the same side as my previous ectopic and now I'm panicking that it's happening again. Trying not to stress out too much....I don't know how I'll cope if it happens again.
Feels like a mild stitch at the moment, going to call the epu tomorrow and insist they book me in for an early scan asap, I'm not getting fobbed off again!

I was up all night with an upset tummy, feeling very sorry for myself this morning, helped by the fact it's freezing and wet. Feel a bit icky this morning but think it's Monday morning induced more than anything else xx

I had a bit of an upset tummy this morning. Im 5 weeks today. I did a cb test just to see the weeks indicator change to 3+....
Used up all my sticks now. I really should leave it now!!!

No real nausea yet but I'm starting to feel bit tired and I get LOADS of period type aches like I did with DC1

I'm experiencing similar symptoms to you @goldielocks29 - I've had stomach ache since the beginning but more specific now and on one side. Also I first tested pregnant last Wednesday and showed 1-2 weeks...I did another test yesterday and still say 1-2 weeks...I know it's not a week since but am feeling really paranoid now as by my calculations it should be saying at least 2-3 weeks (though I'm not sure how accurate they are?). It's my first time, so I just don't know what's normal...

I've contacted my doctor as first appointment not until next Tuesday and can't wait until then or I'll drive myself crazy! They've advised me to go to epu, so I'm going to head down to the drop in tomorrow morning. I'm 5 weeks though, so not sure what they'll be able to tell. I'm trying to remain positive and hopefully all will be well.

I hope you get the appointment you need @goldielocks29 and I hope everyone else is doing/feeling well today.

Well the person I spoke to on the phone was absolutely useless.
I'm just going to go down there after work as they have a 24 hour triage, and I'll just wait until they see me.

The pain isn't awful or anything but it's just something I can constantly 'feel' if you know what I mean?

I've done so many tests over the past couple of weeks, my digit went from 2-3 weeks to 3+ but still getting worried.
Can't wait for this day to end!

goldie just head down there and don't leave until they scan you. Can you say the pain is worse than it is just to make sure you get priority?

Is there a higher risk of a second ectopic if you have already had one or is it just random do you know?
jlr i would get to the epu as well - i think they will do a vaginal scan as it is too early for an external scan. Not delightful but i expect you just want to check everything is progressing.

My early scan is on sat, i am pretty nervous....Had a tiny bit of spotting yesterday which i know is perfectly normal but still panicked me.

Thanks mother, sitting in the waiting room now...god know for how long but not leaving until I've had a scan!

If you've had a previous ectopic you are higher risk for a subsequent, which is why I'm so annoyed that they haven't seemed to take me very seriously.

Dr examined me and has booked me in for a scan later in the week. Apparently not in enough pain for them to scan me tonight.....🙄😒

Thanks ladies, it's a help just to talk about it. I'm trying to be positive, just constantly worried at the moment!

I'm home from work now and going to rest up tonight and try to distract myself! I couldn't get to the epu afternoon session, so I'm going first thing tomorrow morning. Apparently it's generally a two hour wait, so I should know more by lunchtime...

No sickness for me yet but I didn't with my lb either. Apart from tiredness I had a really easy first trimester!

It has been a hard day at work keeping a secret! I was asked today when number 2 was coming along! Argh!

Thankfully we are in the middle of buying a house, so could say, maybe after we have a third bedroom! Lol

Thanks Itsjustaphase. I'm feeling a tad more positive today - my belly pains are less than yesterday and I did another test today (!) which said 2-3 weeks, so good to see some progress.

I still don't feel like I can wait until next week for doctors appointment however, so have headed to epu and can hopefully get some answers/advise. I got here an hour ago and expecting a 1-2 hour wait to be seen. I'm working from home today, so brought work with me as distraction!

I hope everyone else is doing okay today.

Hi, Just a quick update. After a (seemingly endless!) wait I was seen by the doctor at epu drop in. They did an internal scan and he says everything looks normal for 4-5 weeks (my calcs say 5+2 so about right) -sac was visible as a black area. I'm now booked in for a follow up scan in two weeks when we should hopefully see more 😬 I'm still nervous but feel encouraged and happy that I know a little more at least...roll on next scan..!

I've had some bleeding today. Everything I keep reading say spotting is fine but I'm really worried. Still felt sick this morning but not sure if that was just nerves about the bleeding.

What do I do?

I have got another pregnancy test but I'm too scared to do it?! 😬

I expected lots of pain if I was having a miscarriage but not feeling much.

Room for one more ladies? Due 27th December according to due date calculator. Wasn't planning on ttc until after a Christmas so came as a bit of a surprise but now it's starting to sink it myself & my husband are rather thrilled.

So sorry to hear youre worried hester - how much bleeding was it? Has it continued?

I have had no sickness today so also panicking a bit! Argh this is all so stressful.
Fingers crossed we can all get to 12 weeks safely and then start worrying about other things!!
