Hello all :) so just found out I am pregnant again :) had an early miscarriage in January and fallen on again, which is amazing. I am very anxious this time around and don't want to get too excited, but can't help myself. I also found being on here last time was actually a great help when it was taken away from me as people are so kind and it helps to talk, so if it does happen again I am in the right place xx anyway happy times now :) eeeeeek. Anymore early Decembers.
If there is already a group tell me and I can join that. X

glastogal I can't help it, I obsessed about stats when we were ttc. Apparently you're more safe after the seventh week, and then in an even better situation at twelve weeks.
It's more likely to stick than not at this point, must keep reminding myself that 🙈

Zaberwocky · 09/04/2017 20:37

Sad it's so hard not to get drawn into all the statistics isn't it?

amazingrobot · 09/04/2017 21:01

Glasto - I'll be 39 if this works out. My eldest is nearly 11.

Told dh. It was mixed. He is shocked but fine I think. Spotting worse Sad

Foxglove88 · 09/04/2017 21:05

Hopefully he will feel more excited once the idea has settled a little longer, amazing 😊 Sorry to hear about the spotting. Any pain?

amazingrobot · 09/04/2017 21:10

No pain and light pink.

BirdBrain85 · 09/04/2017 21:11

Goldie Haha what date's your birthday? Mine's the 17th and I really rather hope baby is before that, as I feel mine is close enough - but seeing as I've moaned about it for all these years I bet I have a Christmas baby!!

Squirrel Too right we need more pampering Wink I'm rather enjoying the extra attention already!

Looby How strange, I haven't felt sick at all - but had fish for dinner too and now feel a bit bleugh. Rather disappointing as I thought I was doing a good thing by having fish!

I'm also feeling very wary of mc stats, everything feels so fragile at the moment. Although the last set I read said there is around a 90% chance of it sticking... I liked those stats... I'm not going to read any others haha.

BirdBrain85 · 09/04/2017 21:13

Amazing sorry I missed your post - glad you told DH and hope the spotting passes soon and isn't anything to worry about xx

Mrsbluebell17 · 09/04/2017 21:13

Hi everyone. Can I join?
I'm bluebell, I'm 4+3 with #1.
Had a chemical back in December so hoping this one is a healthy sticky one.
Found out last Monday with a fairly strong FRER line even 3 days before period was due. Did a clear blue digital and it was 1-2 and then did one yesterday that was 2-3 so all looking good so far. Fingers crossed.

I'm on another thread that I was on the ttc version of, but I've been reading this thread and there are lots of things that ring true to me on here so hope you don't mind me joining here too.

I'm going overseas with work for 5 days at about 7+4 weeks so we are having a private early scan at 7+2 to try and make me stress less when I'm away.

Oh and to follow the recent questions, I'm 29 but will be 30 by the time baby arrives.

isitwinetimeyet16 · 09/04/2017 21:18

Hi everyone! Bit late to the party but can I join? Second time-er here, my DD is 22 months and I found out last Sunday that we're expecting again - thrilled as had taken a few months and was starting to get a bit worried! Think I'm due somewhere between the 8th and 12th depending on exactly when I ovulated but going for an early scan in ten days so should know more then. I'm 33, 34 in October.

TootsyBella84 · 09/04/2017 22:46

I'm 27, will be 28 when this one is due if it sticks! I don't care at all about gender now, just hoping for a healthy one but I already have one of each. I was 17 when I had my oldest x

goldielocks29 · 10/04/2017 02:53

Bird, my birthday is on 9th Dec I've guesstimated my EDD as 15th Dec.

Think DH would love a boy, but I'm not fussed. Although a boy would be easier based on past hypothetical 'baby name' convos....he hates ALL my girls names but hasn't come up with any decent suggestions himself 🙄
At least there's plenty of time to decide 😂😂

SamiZayn · 10/04/2017 07:27

::waves:: Hi everyone, another one late to the party here. I've just got a bfp (cycle 3) and have a 17 month old DD. Oh and I'm 30. I thought I'd be scared but I'm actually just hugely excited, haven't even told dh yet.

Is everyone else doing the mad knicker checking? Figure I got a good few weeks of that left

Lixon · 10/04/2017 07:29

Hi everyone, tentatively joining as well.

Got a faint BFP on Saturday afternoon and then a 2-3 week clearblue digital result on Sunday. I think I'm 4w2 but ovulated early.

We're another couple with multiple losses - trying for our first for 2.5 years with 2 miscarriages and then a very traumatic tfmr in February at 14 weeks. Hoping it's 4th time lucky but will remain cautious til after 12 weeks at least. I will definitely get an early scan and most likely a harmony test this time around after last time. I'll also automatically be offered a CVS at 11 weeks but not sure yet if I'll go for it.

Sorry to those suffering with bleeding and spotting - it's so incredibly stressful on top of an already anxious time..

Chamonix1 · 10/04/2017 07:33

Ooooo lots of new people, hello everyone Smile fingers crossed for all of you and I'm sorry to hear of the struggles some of you have had, unfortunately you're not alone on this thread.
Woken up today with a hugeeee headache as I somehow managed to get sunburn yesterday after applying factor 50!
Hope everyone else is okay and had a good weekend.

SamiZayn · 10/04/2017 07:44

So sorry to hear about your losses Lixon. An early scan sounds like a good idea

JCHatchling · 10/04/2017 07:47

Hi Guys, I'm 32 this month and we were trying for 3 years before successful IVF! Went to a wedding on Sat, but only lasted until 10 not drinking, which is a bit pathetic! Lol. 5+2 today, counting down the days to 7 weeks when will all feel safer! Still getting really excited though!!!

Beardy1 · 10/04/2017 07:51

It's good to see we have lots of new people. Congrats. My thoughts also go to the ladies struggling at the moment. I hope it all settles down for you. I'm 32 but will be 33 when baby is born. I'm also thinking about having a 7 weeks scan after my previous MC. It's hard to even imagine feeling in the safe zone after 12 weeks. Fingers crossed for us all.

CharlieB39 · 10/04/2017 07:53

Just found out I'm expecting number six I'm 39 so will be my last I'm pretty nervous as most of my children have grown up and left home ahhhhh what am I doing haha very excited but nervous to be starting again at this age saying that most of my friends same age are pregnant or just had a baby feeling like the oldest mum in the world I'll be 40 before baby is born 😭

Beardy1 · 10/04/2017 07:54

samizayn I'm so on the knicker and toilet roll watch!! It's driving me a bit bananas at the mo

Mrsbluebell17 · 10/04/2017 08:12

Another one here on the knicker watch. Im a worrier anyway so really trying not to hehe.

TootsyBella84 · 10/04/2017 08:30

Feeling a little more confident today. Here are my tests from 14dpo and today at 16dpo!

isitwinetimeyet16 · 10/04/2017 08:44

Wow that's a good strong line!

So sorry to hear the ladies who've had a hard time over the last few years, fingers crossed for all of us. I'm on knicker and toilet roll alert too, paranoid every time I go! Not helping I don't really have any symptoms yet either. What's everyone else experiencing? I'm around 5 weeks and seem to remember with my DD I didn't get anything til around 8 weeks.

Also I work in a team of three and one of the others has just told me she's pregnant - guessing about 4 weeks ahead of me! Means I'm dreading telling them!!

accidentalgrownup · 10/04/2017 08:46

Hello everyone 👋🏻 I'm 36 & will still be 36 when this one arrives....well just, my bdays in Jan!

We already have a 4yo DD but wouldn't mind another girl or a boy 😊

This ones a clomid baby as we were TTC for almost 2 years....hope it's a sticky one x

Annie1290 · 10/04/2017 08:47

Another one on knicker watch! I had lots of spotting and pain before my ectopic so kind of finding it weird that I have no symptoms other than a bit of tiredness for this BFP but need to remember it's still such early days.

Need to ring Dr's in a bit but it's hard when you're at work and don't want anyone to know!

Beardy1 · 10/04/2017 09:27

isitwinetimeyet it's good to know there's more of us on knicker watch. My symptoms have been quite mixed. I realised I was preggars because I became light headed and nauseas when I was going hard at the gym. I also became an insomniac last week but I think that's because I was anxious I'd MC again. I'm now having tender boobs, some lightheadedness and exhausted. I think everyone's different and it's hard not to compare but if you didn't start feeling anything until 8 weeks with your previous I'd go by that as comfort.
