Hello all :) so just found out I am pregnant again :) had an early miscarriage in January and fallen on again, which is amazing. I am very anxious this time around and don't want to get too excited, but can't help myself. I also found being on here last time was actually a great help when it was taken away from me as people are so kind and it helps to talk, so if it does happen again I am in the right place xx anyway happy times now :) eeeeeek. Anymore early Decembers.
If there is already a group tell me and I can join that. X

I have another blood test on Sat to check HCG level and then they'll book me in for 7 week scan. Can't wait!!

JCHatchling · 04/04/2017 13:39

Is the 19th your 7 week? Good luck!!

glastogal · 04/04/2017 13:52

Yes, I didn't have any blood tests for hcg so this will be the first official confirmation (hopefully!)

Zaberwocky · 04/04/2017 13:58

Congratulations JC !

Although I am starting to wonder if we'll get anyone here who isn't going in for an early scan Grin it's quite a funny coincidence!

Zaberwocky · 04/04/2017 14:06

I relented and bought the changing mat Blush in my defence it looks useful and has flamingos on it. Which are for some reason REALLY cute today Grin I have enthusiastic hormones...

Can I decree myself as the first idiot to buy anything in the group?

glastogal · 04/04/2017 14:11

That is seriously cute zaber!!

MuddledMother · 04/04/2017 14:30

Eeekkk just found out I'm pregnant with surprise baby no3. Ibe felt hungover the last two days and was sick at work so did a test and it was positive. I can't believe it. Has anyone set up a Facebook due in dec 17 group?

TheGrumpySquirrel · 04/04/2017 14:35

Congrats Jc

I'm not having an early scan I don't think. You have to have one for harmony (to prove you are over 10wks) but might just wait for NHS scan date then book harmony

Zaberwocky · 04/04/2017 14:42

EEEEEKKKK!

  1. My flamingo mat has been dispatched.
  1. My old employee has replied offering me an interview Smile I may NOT have to stay in this horrific place for my whole pregnancy!
LisaPoouts · 04/04/2017 14:50

Thank you for tie reassuring words. Touch wood so far I have felt fine, hope it was just the runs that made me feel funny and it is a pregnancy symptom. Got my 5 week message offer another app this morning that my baby now has a tail, kind of cute, kind of weird ;). He caffeine comment in a post, I am a serious tea drinker, but I have switched to red bush a naturally caffeine free drink if you try that. They count towards hydration too. Weird smell at first, but honestly after a while you can't smell it anymore. Give it a try xxx I am so loving being pregnant again. Really starting to get excited. Xx

Muddled mother , a Facebook page would be lovely, I am useless at setting things like that up, would you be able to? X I was on one before in January and it was lovely xx

Zaberwocky · 04/04/2017 15:03

Ohhhh. Speaking of tea! Remember that tea can cause you to absorb less iron, which can be a problem obviously Grin

MuddledMother · 04/04/2017 15:29

Anyone else want to set up a Due in Dec 2017 page? I'm a follower not a leader. Not sure I can handle the responsibility 😂

Zaberwocky · 04/04/2017 15:34

Muddled As soon as I leave my current job I can join/make one Grin too many bloody social media rules!

It makes me sound far more interesting than I actually am!

imsuchafool12345 · 04/04/2017 15:52

Id join the group if one was set up.

Work has been horrible. Keep having hot flushes and bad rounds of nausea. And to top it off one of the medicine draws flew out onto my stomach -.-

Pixie106 · 04/04/2017 17:01

I'd join the fb page if it was started.
As for drinks, I've been on decaf coffee and tea since getting pregnant with my youngest 2 years ago. Tastes the same but without the bad stuff. My other kids drink it (aged 18 and 15) so at least I don't have to worry about them bouncing off the walls too! Does anyone know if decaf tea stops iron absorption too? Smile

Chamonix1 · 04/04/2017 17:11

I can make a group?
I've literally just made myself a Facebook as I deleted mine. Going to try and keep it completely private this time and just use it for the group and whatnot.

TheGrumpySquirrel · 04/04/2017 17:16

Isn't there so little caffeine in tea anyway? I'm sticking to my one flat white coffee a day, think it's fine

Chamonix1 · 04/04/2017 17:31

Take that back about the Facebook group. I can't make one as I have no friends to add to the group Grin
Don't really know how we would set that up, someone more tech aware will come along I'm sure!

Chamonix1 · 04/04/2017 18:10

Anyone going to watch One born every minute tonight?!

MuddledMother · 04/04/2017 18:41

If someone sets up a group and just make it closed we could search for it easy enough then when everyone joined make it secret.

Chamonix1 · 04/04/2017 18:42

I tried. It makes me "add people" to set the group up.

MuddledMother · 04/04/2017 18:49

If someone wants to add me as a friend I'll make the group. My name is Michelle goodwin and my profile pic is of me pushing my son on a swing

MuddledMother · 04/04/2017 18:53

I'm nervously going to watch it haha

BirdBrain85 · 04/04/2017 18:59

Hi all,

Muddledmother - I'll send you a friend request as I'd love to join!

Lisa - I haven't had that exactly, but I do get pulling pains/twinges for several minutes/seconds. I've heard that's all normal so try not to worry xx

Zaber - I LOVE that mat!! I'm crazy about birds (I have a parrot & budgie) so I'm extremely tempted to buy it too...

Ima - Glad everything went well with your partner :)

JC - Congratulations! I didn't have IVF but I did have IUI, so we're in similar boats.

I'm definitely in the snacking club. I was starving at about 10pm last night and craving cheese (which I didn't have). Today I bought a big block of cheese Halo and I'll just have a little nibble with my dinner. I'm not being overly strict but don't eat a lot of junk anyway. I'm also so tired, had to come home and get into bed for an hour. Shame you can't tell anyone with it being so early, as I'm having to pretend I'm fine when I just want to curl up on my desk at work haha.
