Hello all :) so just found out I am pregnant again :) had an early miscarriage in January and fallen on again, which is amazing. I am very anxious this time around and don't want to get too excited, but can't help myself. I also found being on here last time was actually a great help when it was taken away from me as people are so kind and it helps to talk, so if it does happen again I am in the right place xx anyway happy times now :) eeeeeek. Anymore early Decembers.
If there is already a group tell me and I can join that. X

Oh beaut you have gone through a lot. Easier said than done but try to keep calm. Like zabe said think what you want first and if you need to let it all out We're all here for you

Zaberwocky · 03/04/2017 19:16

Please don't feel stupid! It happens. You've clearly had a really shit time of it lately, and you shouldn't be hard on yourself. I'd go grab some folic acid/vitamin d as soon as possible, but nothing awful is going to happen because you weren't taking it in advance! Many women don't bother till they're 4-5 weeks if at all!

I don't think you're over thinking this. You had a plan, and you now want to make a new one. This changes everything, and it's understandable you're thinking of the details. I know you're going to be worried about college and doing a degree later on in the year, but it is possible! It's hard, but there are so many options, and so much support out there to help you make it possible. What's your degree going to be in?

But you are going to need your boyfriends support. You do need to talk to him, then you can start planning.

Zaberwocky · 03/04/2017 19:16

Eveni what do you think you want? No judgement here at all! I'm sure everyone on here just wants you to be happy.

MegsMog · 03/04/2017 19:43

Just to update: have had miscarriage. Best of luck to all going forwards! X

Chamonix1 · 03/04/2017 19:51

Eveni- you are not stupid at all, this happens and it happens more than we know! What do you think you want? Definitely talk to OH he is there to support you! Flowers and virtual hug.

Chamonix1 · 03/04/2017 19:52

Sorry to hear that CakeFlowers
Here if you need to speak though. Xx

imsuchafool12345 · 03/04/2017 19:57

I'm so sorry megs we're here if you want to talk

Eveni · 03/04/2017 20:11

Degree would also be in early childhood care and education. Hoped to go back to working with children in schools as my kids got older and more independent. Been in a crèche for placement for last 2 years with this course but will kind of be all up in the air for awhile now. But I know it's possible. I had to pick my life up from scratch after leaving an abusive marriage with my kids so I know how strong I am just not feeling it today.

NaturWilde · 03/04/2017 20:11

Oh Megs Flowers

imsuchafool12345 · 03/04/2017 20:44

eve you're a strong woman for leaving an abusive relationship it takes a lot more than people think.

Anyone got any tips to stop feeling sick that doesnt include ginger. Keep almost being sick :(

weasledee · 03/04/2017 20:49

Imsuchafool have you tried the travel bands? That's the only thing that worked for me.

TheGrumpySquirrel · 03/04/2017 20:54

Lemongrass tea or peppermint works nicely for sickness

Eveni · 03/04/2017 20:54

Try salty crackers for sickness

imsuchafool12345 · 03/04/2017 20:58

I think I'll invest in some of these after work tomorrow. Last pregnancy o had no sickness no nausea odd cramping here and there but this one constant nausea and cramping -.-

BirdBrain85 · 03/04/2017 21:14

Thinking of you Megs Flowers xx

Eveni - You should very resilient to me, and I'm sure things will fall into place for you. I think your reaction is very natural, and I'm sure you will tell your boyfriend when the time is right for you both. Take all the time you need xx

Ima - I see your lines! I hope they keep getting darker for you xx

imsuchafool12345 · 03/04/2017 21:54

I Hope they get darker too

Chamonix1 · 04/04/2017 07:24

Good morning everyone.
I've been experiencing those stretchy pains many of you have been feeling, another rubbish nights sleep, had some rather bad "twinges" in my pelvic area last night, hoping it's not something bad.
How's everyone doing Smile

Still thinking of you Megs, you can speak to us if you'd like Flowers

imsuchafool12345 · 04/04/2017 07:45

Told my partner last night and he was so happy. Told him of me constantly feeling sick but thw lines not getting darker. His response was if it does last he asked if he was selfish if he wanted a girl (we already have a little boy) but if the worst does happen then it doesn't matter as ive already been gifted with a healthy boy and no one can take that away from me. He's so amazing

TipTop333 · 04/04/2017 07:51

So sorry to read your news megs. Look after yourself.

I went through my old antenatal thread from when I was the same amount of pg with my dd and I was a similar level of paranoid about symptoms but also full of positivity! I had read a pregnancy book, ordered a workout dvd and if I remember, was already researching roams. Can't work out if I was foolish or actually the positive thinking was a good thing!

Zaberwocky · 04/04/2017 07:58

Megs I am so, so sorry. Please look after yourself as best you can.

Ima I bet you feel a thousand times better for telling him :) !

As for morning sickness, no bloody idea! There are now few foods I can eat comfortably 😂

imsuchafool12345 · 04/04/2017 08:23

I really do. He kept cuddling me all night so I think hes a lot happier than hes letting on.

ChocolateRaisin · 04/04/2017 08:31

So sorry to hear that Megs Flowers

Zaberwocky · 04/04/2017 08:45

Ima I'm so glad to hear you say that! How's everyone feeling today?

imsuchafool12345 · 04/04/2017 09:05

I'm aching all over like ive walked up a mountain and back.

Zaberwocky · 04/04/2017 09:41

Ugh. DH keeps mocking me 😂 The screens at work erm ... appear to be enhancing the morning sickness. I thought it was just a coincidence for a few days, but it's really making things worse 😩
