Anyone else with a super faint BFP showing a due date for June 2016?

Got a barely there, second line on Sunday but has taken me this long (and 6 more tests Blush ) to accept that I am finally pregnant again after my mmc in April. Sooooooo excited. Anyone else on the preggers boat with me? :)

Tentatively joining - 2 faint positives and late period (usually like clockwork). But refusing to test again until Friday....

Rifka · 30/09/2015 17:56

Hi everyone

Hope you are all doing well. This is my first time on mn. I am 5wks (I think). Calculator predicts my dd as 1st June.

Symptoms-wise I am mostly experiencing very swollen achey boobs... Also tired.

So pleased to find this thread. Have recently relocated and have no connections yet apart from DP and DSs 1&2. Also not told anyone yet aside from DP so it's really good to be able to share. X

belkins · 30/09/2015 18:12

Sorry to hear your news Bugsyburge. Have everything crossed it's just a blip and you'll get a good positive again at the weekend.

Congratulations to the new joiners, wishing you the best of sticky luck! MrsMugoo I too am on progesterone pessaries due to 7 previous mc's - they're a bit ick but seem to be doing the job so far. Not sure if any help or not but if you have a private prescription for them, Asda sell at cost price. They were half the price of Boots!

Oh, and let us know how it goes with DH Madrigal! I told my OH through text Blush, wish I'd stopped myself and done something lovely like you!

mrsmugoo · 30/09/2015 18:24

Thanks for the tip off belkins it is a private prescription so will definitely get the 10 remaining weeks supply from there! I paid £107 from my local chemist for 2 cycles worth. I'm on 400mg 2x a day.
Also tmi but I use the, ahem, back entrance, and it's a lot less messy!!

nehagarg · 30/09/2015 18:25

Oooh Madrigal ... How incredibly exciting! Eish I had thought of surprising DH instead if excitedly waving the pregnancy test in his face while he was on the phone Grin

Welcome and Congrats MrsSparkles and Rifka ... where have you relocated from Rifka*?

No nausea for me so far thankfully. Didnt have it last time and seem to be able to keep everything down so far. Not sure if it has something to do with being vegan? My sciencey brain wants to experiment! Grin

The only annoying symptom I have is that my nipples hurt like hell when I get cold. Have to rub them a d make them warm to calm them down. Something that amuses DH no end. Hmm ... Oh and of course that I am spending my life sleeping now.

Hello,

Please can I join? I got a positive on Monday for baby#3, so a rough due date of 6th June. (However I was 2 weeks late with both my other 2dc so I am very much doubting that it will be then!)

I am quite anxious at the moment, and am very much looking forward to some of the worries and illness of the first trimester being over. Although I have had 2 children before my family and I moved overseas 18 months ago and so I'm dealing with a whole new way of doing things, and English isn't the native language. (Although most people are very good at English which is a relief!)

nehagarg · 30/09/2015 19:42

Welcome bikingintherain... Congrats on the BfP. Smile

Thats the best thing about mumsnet and this thread. We are all in it together. Smile

Hi ladies - welcome and congratulations

So finally told OH yesterday on the phone,he was shocked as we had not planned to have a baby but he said babies are a blessing, no one has ever told him they regretted having a baby and we will be fine. I'm sure he's still having a stiff whisky Smile but he was nice and it was such a relief telling him about the pregnancy it's baby #1 for him too.

Also saw my GP today, she was so nice (5 weeks tomorrow) and my midwife appointment letters for 8&12 weeks also arrived in the post. Yet it still doesn't feel real, no symptoms bar sore boobs and now awaiting the symptoms just for reassurance.

jbiscuits · 30/09/2015 20:03

Congratulations and welcome biking, mrsmugoo, MrsSparkles and rifka. I seem to have missed a lot today!

madrigal how exciting! I told DH by asking if he could see a line, but he didn't really know what he was looking at should have given him the instruction leaflet first Was rather less exciting than the "pregnant" on my test with DC1.

rifka I joined MN when TTC DC1, and here I am 2 years later completely hooked Grin

jbiscuits · 30/09/2015 20:06

Cross posted amiseeingright . So glad you told your OH. Glad your GP was nice too. I need to remember to ring and book my booking in appointment tomorrow. I think it will feel even more real once I've done that!

Rifka · 30/09/2015 20:09
  • Nehagarg, not a v big move, just two counties away. My DP was diagnosed with a serious illness and had to have a major operation, all this happened in August and necessitated my move. We were planning on moving in together but not as suddenly as it has turned out! Am so very happy to be with him though, and DSs#1&2 settling in well. DP has not got a good prognosis. Starting chemo & radiotherapy simultaneously. We decided to ttc in the short window between the operation and the start of the treatments. It worked! Am so pleased but also heartbroken at DP's short life expectancy. (Sorry for essay... This was not quite what you asked about!) x
Rifka · 30/09/2015 20:14

Jbiscuits - thanks, already feeling comforted by being able to chat Smile

Rifka · 30/09/2015 20:15

Amiseeingright - thanks x

tigress23 · 30/09/2015 20:44

Rifka, sorry to hear about your DP's prognosis. You never know, though. My brother beat cancer twice against horrible odds.

As for pregnancy symptoms, I am one big ball of them. My breasts hurt, are bigger and have sprouted blue veins; I'm exhausted and all I want to do is sleep; I need to wee all the time and it wakes me up in the night; I have cravings and aversions (whiff of DH's cider made me gag) and best of all, I'm constipated (which I've never been in my life) and have just been to the doctor about it because it was so painful.

No morning sickness yet, but judging from the severity of the other symptoms... It's not looking good for me ShockConfused

tigress23 · 30/09/2015 20:46

Welcome bikingintherain, and congrats!

Rifka · 30/09/2015 21:19

Tigress23 - thanks! Am trying to think positive and news of good outcomes is always v cheering.

Also experiencing boob trouble... Becoming quite ridiculous, am constantly tempted to rest them on work tops/ dining table/ any available shelf, they feel so heavy! DP asked me why they are so achey & I realised I actually don't know! Confused Realise it must be hormone related but know nothing of the physiological happenings in there.

Hope your symptoms start clearing up really soon. Also having the constant peeing issue here! X

Hope all going well with you

nehagarg · 30/09/2015 21:40

My best wishes with you and your DP Rifka ... I am sure he will be better now that he has this brilliant news to keep him going. Smile

I have an odd little issue. Masturbated this afternoon (no penetration) and now have a bit of brown blood. Keeping fingers crossed that it will clear up. I had 2 days of brown bleeding which turned into torrents of red when i miscarried so not assured by it being brown only. Only reassurance is that it started right after my deed. Too much of a coincidence to be a mc. Besides, had a super dark second line on the test yesterday.

Aah the joys of the first trimester. Sad

Hello everyone! No change from me-in bed now and exhausted!
Today at work someone mentioned a project which starts in mid June and I couldn't help smiling thinking (fingers crossed) I won't be there! I am still very wary though-these first few weeks really are touch and go.

I had planned on putting a cupcake in the oven and asking DH to check what was in there...and hoped he'd say 'there's a bun in the oven'-but in the end I just waved the stick in front of him! I have no patience!

Jw35 · 01/10/2015 01:37

I started bleeding a few hours ago and it's heavy red blood. I think it's an early mc Sad hope you all have healthy pregnancies.

belkins · 01/10/2015 06:11

So sorry to hear Jw35, please look after yourself x

nehagarg · 01/10/2015 06:55

Oh now Jw35. Hugs. Take care of yourself. Flowers

PotKettle Welcome to the club of no patience. I did the same thing. Grin

I woke up shattered this morning. Really want to crawl back into bed and hide under the duvet, but not really DS would let me (or that I trust him not to destroy the place!).
