So, who is up for it?? Pre or Post Christmas? Weekend or week day? With other Sprogletts or without? Where? Someone mentioned Southampton .....

Hi CD, Southampton is great for me. Probably post christmas as everything is manic pre, and it will give us something to look forward to in the New Year.
The only weekday we have free is a Thursday afternoon (me and dd) so weekends are probably best. Happy to do with or without dd at the weekend.
Would be great to meet you and the others.

Perhaps we could all meet for lunch one Sat in Jan? I have to admit, I'd prefer to do it without the DD's just cos they're both v.young and difficult to handle on my own in a strange place, iykwim!!? Someone who know S'ton a million times better than me would have to come up with a place to meet and venue to eat (oooh, that rhymed!! )

CD, I would prefer to do without dd too tbh. A lovely lunch on a Saturday in January - looking forward to it already!

Yes, don't think getting a train between Winchester and S'ton would be a problem at all Bramshott.

Should we all meet at the train station at say 1.30pm-ish?? Under the clock!!?

Sat 13th should be OK for me too as I don't think dh is working so he can babysit. I 2nd SOL's comment about meeting earlier - might end up eating the train seats long before that!

Good point - Let's say meet @ 12pm - then everyone will have time to assemble and get to place of nourishment before they pass out / eat train seats / eat random passer-by.....

Let me know about date guys and then we can start having a think about where to munch.

Hello all sorry I've missed this so far. Count me in. 13th January should be ok for me. Don't know Southampton that well but we should be able to find somewhere to eat though.

Hello, just popping in form the May thread. I used to shop in Southampton quite alot as I am origionally from Bournemouth.

You could just go to West Quay, the large shopping centre, the top floor is a massive food hall. You can take your pick of every kind of food you can think of. I hope you have a lovely meet up.

Hiya loves. The 13th for me is grand too. I will probably drive, and just meet you wherever we decide to go. The West Quay eating place is ok, but you can't book and it may be busy with sale shoppers.
Are people happy with Italian? I will look in Yellow Pages and see if there are some places and am happy to book it too.

"Taxi!!" I don't drive (), so will be coming by train and would love to met at the station (I'll wear a pink carnation) when I know what time my train will be getting into S'ton. Would be v.happy for you to find and book a place SOL, I totally agree with you about West Quay - would prefer to find someewhere a little more "exclusive" and "bookable"!!

So, so far, me, CD, Ange and emmymummy - 4. And we are all ok with Saturday 13th and Italian.
I'll leave it until the end of the week to see if we have any more takers, and then will book something. How exciting!!!
