Oh bugger, sorry have only just checked this one. I have DD's birthday party on the 13th, and my grandparents Diamond Wedding on the 20th. And there was me blithely saying "any Sat in Jan is fine". Actually come to think of it, I am working 4th Feb so maybe you'd better do it without me? Oh argghhhh. Is there a Sat in between the 20th and the 4th?

CaptainDippy · 28/11/2006 10:17

Oh bugger Bramshott honey -

What is the general consensus - How is Jan 27th for people?

I have a horrible feeling we may be going to the in-laws that weekend - horrible being the apt word. I'll check with dh later and come back to you.
It would be great though to have as many of us together as possible.

Bramshott · 28/11/2006 14:26

Or Jan 6th - or is that too soon after Christmas for people? Really sorry about this. If it turns out others can't change, please feel free to do the 13th without me, and I will think of you having lunch while I am chasing 20 4 year olds round our village hall!!

Sexonlegs · 28/11/2006 14:36

Bramshott, your brave - 20 4 year olds!!
It would be really good to get all of us together - let's see what people come back with. x

WaspElly · 28/11/2006 16:33

Jan's looking quite free for me
Right - Italians? Ennios is OK - down by the ferry terminal - or if we just want to go for chic gastro pub there's the White Star...has nice leather sofas in the window & good grub. Similarly Banana Wharf (and I can look at boats if not actually go on them at the mo! hehehe)
Any other ideas anyone?

AngeG · 28/11/2006 16:39

Hi there,

I'm pretty flexible re dates. Can do 6th if that's not too close to xmas\or 27th. Just let me know. xx

CaptainDippy · 28/11/2006 19:31

Can't do 6th here, but can do any other Sat in Jan ......??

OP posts:
Sexonlegs · 28/11/2006 21:40

OK, checked with dh, and there are no firm plans for the 27th re his parents, so I will say I am free for that date!
So, Bramshott, CD, Ange, we are good for that date. Emmymummy and waspelly is the 27th good for you too?

AngeG · 29/11/2006 09:15

27th is goof for me

AngeG · 29/11/2006 09:15

good I mean not goof

CaptainDippy · 29/11/2006 09:40

27th is fine for me too - Any other takers??

OP posts:
WaspElly · 29/11/2006 14:55

27th goof here too!

Sexonlegs · 29/11/2006 16:46

So, we just need to see whether emmymummy is ok for the 27th and then we are sorted!
Emmymummy where are you???

emmymummy · 29/11/2006 20:30

Hello all - I think 27th will be OK for me too - that's plenty of notice to ensure dh is not working that day so he can stay at home with dd.

Unless I bring DH and DD with me and they can buzz off somewhere in Southampton while we have lunch and gossip! Is there much to do/look at there for 4 year olds?

Will be coming down on the train too, so will also need a pink carnation, or would the large tummy give me away?

Sexonlegs · 29/11/2006 20:48

So, the final list:

SOL
Captain Dippy
Ange
Bramshott
Waspelly
mmymummy

6 of us - fab!

Not sure what your dh and a 4 year old could do tbh in Southampton.

So, I am going to go ahead and book something this Friday for us.
SOOOOO Exciting!!!

AngeG · 29/11/2006 21:23

Excellent can't wait to meet you all

Bramshott · 30/11/2006 09:53

Brilliant! Thanks so much for changing the date guys. I'm so much looking forward to this. I'm coming by train too, so maybe those of us who are can meet up at the station and recognise each other by large bumps comprising half baby / half christmas pudding, and frantic smiles of excitement!!

CaptainDippy · 30/11/2006 13:52

LOL! Sounds fab - really looking forward to it!! Go ahead and book something SOL .....

Sexonlegs · 01/12/2006 15:04

Ladies, there are plenty of Italians - restaurants that is, and I am going to chose one that isn't too far from the train station, as I personally woudn't want to walk miles. Hope that's ok. Don't shoot me if it's awful!!

CaptainDippy · 01/12/2006 22:45

Sounds fine to me honey - Thank you very much!

OP posts:
Bramshott · 04/12/2006 14:34

SOL - choose away. Thanks for booking it!

AngeGabriel · 04/12/2006 16:57

SOL - you're a star thanks for sorting it ouT.

Sexonreindeerlegs · 04/12/2006 20:05

No probs. I will book it tomorrow and then let you all know the details.
