I'm so sorry lillian. I hope you have lots of support around you to get through the shock and upset xxx

Rufus200 · 18/07/2015 18:26

Can anyone recommend anything other then Epsom salts baths for fluid retention? Mine has gotten so bad in the last few days that I now have one pair of actual shoes that I can get my feet in and flip flops only! I reckon half my weight gain is actually just fluid. My thighs, knees, calves and ankles have just merged into ugly tree trunks!

Lillian I'm so so sorry. Big hugs Flowers

For what it's worry. I've had surgical twice and it was absolutely right for me but it's an incredibly personal decision

Thanks so much everyone for all your support.

DH has been amazing we got out of London to get some fresh air (did a couple of walks in the Ashford Estate) today. Seeing my sister tomorrow as not in the mood for too much company today just yet. Still sinking in but slowly accepting now. Lots of spontaneous crying.

I was meant to be 10+5 but gestational sac was empty. Hoping it will all pass painlessly with nothing too confronting to have to deal with.

birdbrain21 · 18/07/2015 23:06

Lillian sorry for your loss. Take the time you need to get better and hopefully you'll have a little bean soon Flowers

haquoi123 · 19/07/2015 08:00

lillian I'm sorry you have to go through this. I don't know if this is your first loss, but really allow yourself to grieve, especially as time moves on. The loss of a baby at any stage is heartbreaking and there is no supposed "expiry date". Look after yourself xxx

haquoi123 · 19/07/2015 08:05

rufus I found this: www.home-remedies-for-you.com/articles/2415/women-s-issues/bloating-during-pregnancy.html

It focuses on bloating rather than water retention (which is my problem), but mentions it a couple of times. I don't know if it's any help at all. I went into the chemist the other day to ask about bloating medicines and was fobbed off with 'peppermint tea'. Pissed me off no end. I'm not a child - give me options and I will make a decision that is safe for me and the baby. Don't make the decision for me. Grr.

can i just ask im panicking a bit - ive been getting bad cramps but from the symptoms it fits exactly with round ligament pain although they are daily and frequent.

but i slept on my stomach last night and woke up this morning (15 mins ago) in agony like ive pulled a muscle, cant stand up straight - has anyone else had this? Sad i dont know whether to ring epu and ask for advice im really worried..
