New car is soooo pretty! It's a blue golf and I feel very fancy cos it's a 15 plate (officially pick it up Monday but all paperwork done now) never had a brand new car before!!
Bradders, enjoy manchester. Lived there for 10 years and loved it. Still visit lots. Flats were my only option pre preggers so definitely with you on the flats now!
Twinkle, we have gone for the giggle. We love the fable design and really happy with how light it is and easy to fold up. Obvs haven't used it yet though...
Come on England for tomorrow but gotta get behind the scots and the welsh today! Perfect excuse for extended sofa time! Might have a small guiness to see me through too Grin xx

leanne963 · 28/02/2015 17:32

Tori hope your scan is good.
Shiny I fancied an Indian but H made me a cheeseburger, sweet potato fries, onion rings and coleslaw, all homemade. He's a gem. Terrible at DIY but brilliant in the kitchen.
We went geocaching today, walked 15000 steps so I don't feel too guilty!

longestlurkerever · 28/02/2015 23:43

Ps sorry for your loss kittiker. Enjoy Mull. Is good to be somewhere beautiful after sad news. I love Mull. Would like to take dd while she is still into balamory but it's a long way from London.

applecore0317 · 01/03/2015 06:45

Hope the scan went great tori

I was leaving a restaurant last night and needed to get between two peoples chairs to get out. Looked at the gap and thought I can do that if I just suck it in a bit... Ummm no... Sucking it in is no longer an option and my bump is clearly bigger than I thought Blush fail.. Ha ha

KittyVonCatsington · 01/03/2015 07:47

Oh I saw Swan Lake in Covent a garden, London over Half Term and Kitlet was very active-I put it down to liking the vibrations from the instruments playing - I wonder if she will recognise it if I play it after she is born?
Enjoy the 4D scan-I chickened out of paying for one myself but would have loved it I'm sure-can't wait to see pics later Smile
Love geocaching Turqouise - did you know it features on he GCSE ICT as an example of photo meta data? Last year, my class were taking part and found a box on the road our school is on-ace!
At least you stopped yourself apple! I week ago I just walked between two people without thinking and bopped one of them in their head with my bump Blush That and in public loos I keep catching the door when closing, on my bump-the cubicles are too small!!

LP20140 · 01/03/2015 07:53

Haha kitty! I did the same thing in a Costa toilet, in a few weeks I'll have no chance of getting in there, it was tiny!

applecore0317 · 01/03/2015 08:06

Ha ha Kitty it was the bump that stoppedme. I thought I was a simple task and attempted and the bump got in the way

Turquoisetamborine · 01/03/2015 08:28

Ooh I didn't know that Kitty it was great fun. I didn't know there were so many close to our house!

leanne963 · 01/03/2015 09:04

Ooooh tori how exciting!!! Bet you can't wait to see the LO again! I'm having a 4d scan on Friday! My brother, whose partner is also pregnant, was like 'oh i wouldn't like that, it ruins the suprise..' yes, now I have the scan I'm not going to be excited about actually meeting the baby! Hmm lol

Chookford · 01/03/2015 10:16

Morning ladies

Hope everyone is well this lovely sunny Sunday (well in Kent it is anyway!)

tori and leanne enjoy your 4d scans... I have my first growth scan in Tuesday so curious to see how much mini chook has changed in 6wks!

I can't stop eating too, glad it's not just me! I'm afraid I may end up he size of a small ship at this rate! Blush

Royalsteph · 01/03/2015 10:52

another week is over. 30 weeks today. I have booked a 4d scan on mothers day as a treat for me and my mum. I'm really excited only 2 weeks to go. 9 weeks till maternity leave with two weeks annual leave in there so only 35 working days left Grin
hope everyone had a good weekend

d0ttyne11 · 01/03/2015 11:03

Royalsteph we must share due dates. I'm 30 weeks today too!

Being lazy and (still) having a lie in & browsing MN. Should really get up. Meant to be going out for Sunday lunch in 90 mins!

Hope all the scans go well this week. I'm bit anxious. Been called back re the blood tests I'd had at 28 wk appointment & they want me to do the glucose test thingy where you sit for 2 hours and they monitor reaction to sugary drink. Got that on Wednesday & trying not to get worked up about it. Though even felt bad about eating some grapes yesterday as think they have natural sugars in them!! Grr...

No one has mentioned a gtt test to me, but I haven't had 28 week bloods done as I'm RH- midwife said they will do full bloods when I go for anti D injection at 30 weeks, my BMI was only just under 30 as well

Justyouwaitandsee · 01/03/2015 12:25

Morning everyone! I'm another one having a lazy day so far.

My dad and DH managed to plumb the bath yesterday and removed the shower but the walls are still bare plaster without proper floor and no sink or loo as yet! So still a way to go but slowly making progress.

I am 32wks on Tues and have another scan on that day to see if the placenta has moved up. Then I have been called in to see the consultant on weds and my midwife wants to see me too. Work are going to start asking questions at this rate!!

I really need to get a bag packed but haven't managed to get round to it yet. DH and I did have a chat about who/how/when we will tell friends and family. We still haven't said anything publicly on facebook so know the birth announcement will take quite a lot of people by surprise.

I know what you mean about underestimating the size of bump - I keep walking into the back of people when joining/leaving the tube. Keep misjudging the space between me and the person ahead! Also have the same problem with toilet cubicles, although weighed in this morning and have remained exactly the same weight for the pass two weeks. Bump is still definitely growing and moving though so wonder if I am just burning more calories?!

longestlurkerever · 01/03/2015 12:33

The gtt test wasn't so bad. I do have a high result but looking at nhs gd page it says eat plenty of fruit and veg and don't get obsessed with gi. It even recommends pasta and ricevas healthy bases for meals, which Dr told me to avoid so a bit confused but going to wait and see what diabetes clinic say. Also going to try and look after myself as am clearly run down with mouth sores and eye infection. Is hard with work and dd to look after though.

Enjoy the scans!

d0ttyne11 · 01/03/2015 12:42

Thanks Longest - I'd been finding it hard to look for any guidance beyond an explanation of what the test actually does. I appreciate you mentioning your test too Tori definitely comforting not to be the only one going back to see what's up...!!

Finally up, showered and dressed and ready to get going! Gorgeous sunny day to make the start of Spring! DaffodilDaffodilDaffodilDaffodil

Oh yeah Happy St David's Day!! Daffodil

I too am having to sit down after coming home with the food shopping-seem to only be able to do tasks in small chunks as need to rest before putting the shopping away!

I am going to a 5yo's birthday party tonight which is running 5-7pm, who does that?!?! Sunday night is for PJ's and dreading Monday...not a softplay session.
They'd better see my bump and give ALL my children a slice of cake to take away Grin
