Hello to any one else who has got here by accident!

I am starting this thread to share the ups and downs of accidental pregnancy with other people in similar positions. also hopefully to get a bit of reassurance from anyone a bit further along than me that the life changing stuff that has to happen in a short space of time to prepare for the new baby is a) possible, and b) positive!

So I am expecting #3 to a new partner who I don't live with, in August. I do live with my 2 dd's who are primary aged and very keen for us to have babies together. He is older than me and has teenage boys. Who have resisted his new relationships post divorce, but who are more grown up now and accept he might want companionship in his old age! (Now that they have got girlfriends of their own!)

So, anyone else out there finding it hard to believe that this is really happening?

Well it was all an absolute shambles and the midwife had forgotten to put my appointment in the book... Going back next week! Yes, 7th July due date Smile

On no! What a pita!

No account is given to the arrangements that have to be made for each appointment. And the extra week of anxiety . Hope you can keep your mind off it..

My nuchal scan is the week after next, so a little while to go yet. Just need to forget about it really.

Did you get your appt yet, gottobeinit ? I've finally managed to arrange child care for mine next week. Been pondering over who to ask, but happily sorted now.

Hey, gottobeinit.... Hope you've managed to get the appointment in the end and it went well. Going for mine later, and feeling very anxious...

Glad to see yours went well, waves (on the August thread) Smile

I'm finding it hard keeping it to myself now. We have told a few people, but have decided that a few people need to be told first and given time to get used to the idea before we go public.

Waves... How on earth are you managing to keep it entirely to yourself?!!!

I have noticed that I'm talking to myself in this thread quite a bit.... Ah well never mind. Hope you're all doing ok.

Got the results through from the screening, very low estimated risk. I'm so glad I don't have any difficult decisions to make about having amnio etc. I do hope you got some good results, gottobeinit

Thank you for the perspectives you all gave be earlier in the thread, I found it really useful.
