And congratulations Blue too! x

CbeebiesIsMyLife · 04/11/2013 17:25

Twins!! Are they our first set on the thread? How exciting. Congratulations.

Xavielli · 04/11/2013 17:33

Ooo congratulations scanees! Twins! Lovely!

LittleBairn · 04/11/2013 17:35

blue great news.

bush I don't run but my ex boss is a runner (does a few marathons a year) and kept it up right up until she delivered.

Alyss congratulations on the twins.

thistler do you wear glasses? I get these they are charmingly referred to as floaters it's supposed to be normal, you get a lot of eye changes in pregancy it seems.

Can I ask when everyone's next midwife appointment is supposed to be after the booking in one?
I've not to have another one until after my 20 week scan, yet in my last pregancy I had a 16 week appointment.
Hmm I'm meant to be on the high risk pathway.

I'm not so bothered just a case of a really long wait for test results.

thistlelicker · 04/11/2013 17:37

Yeh I wear glasses!!!

bluestone85 · 04/11/2013 17:48

Woooo twins!!! Congratulations Alyss I think that is our first set of twins!! Exciting! xx

Thanks everyone Grin xx

bluestone85 · 04/11/2013 17:51

Little I have my next one on the 4th December xx

hamncheese · 04/11/2013 18:02

Congrats on the twinnies alyss

bush its gone the same way as with DS. I was running before pregnancy, floored for five months with ms and then was getting a bit bumpy plus they say you should do more exercise than you were doing pre preg and I think five months out of it makes me think it'd be a bit much for my body. But yes, the baby jogger will be my running buddy post baby on the days DS is away!

I've been feeling so sick and horrible again the last two days, its so depressing. I just want to be better. I'm scared it is going to last the whole way though. If it does I think I might have a mental breakdown.

loopylou52 · 04/11/2013 18:06

Wow, congrats Alyss!

Little - my next midwife appointment is at 16 weeks. I'm a first timer though - does that make a difference?

randdom · 04/11/2013 18:10

Alyss congratulations on the twins

Squiffie I can definitely relate. I am currently 10+4 and am yet to have a scan or a scan date. You can join me in bringing up the rear of the Maybies. I do currently still have a good amount of sickness but it is so much better than it was a week ago and that makes me a bit concerned.

CbeebiesIsMyLife · 04/11/2013 18:23

I'm a 3rd timer and I have a 16 week appointment. You really should have another appointment before your 20 week scan little, ring and book an appointment.

Xavielli · 04/11/2013 18:31

I also have a 16 week appointment (dc5) so I would think its for everyone.

CbeebiesIsMyLife · 04/11/2013 18:34

16 and 20 are for everyone, 25 for 1st timers and high risk from then on it depends mainly on how you are doing and what your midwife thinks seeing you a minimum of every 4 weeks

Hezbean · 04/11/2013 18:44

Oh wow twins!!! Congratulations Alyss!! Our first set!

Hi everyone! I've not posted for a bit but have been keeping up with everyone's news.

I've got my 12 week scan Thursday and then my next midwife appointment is at 16 weeks. I'm a first timer too, incase that makes a difference,

Hezbean · 04/11/2013 18:45

Alyss did you have any inkling it might be twins?

thistlelicker · 04/11/2013 19:16
