I don't know how to do pelvic floor exercises Sad I've tried so hard but the leaking has already started, if I sneeze ferociously or laugh too much. It's horrible Sad

Welcome move.

I meant to say earlier, I had the flu jab on Saturday (a clinic thing at the docs where you basically just queue up, rather than having a specific appointment). My arm has been sore but is getting better, and no other effects as yet.

I'm pleased to report that having gone off chocolate, tea and yogurts (my previous staples) I'm now getting back to eating all three. Currently eating an obscene amount of rocky road!

Xavielli · 21/10/2013 19:54

Welcome move

I'm in Oxfordshire.

dobedobedo · 21/10/2013 19:56

Welcome move!

I don't want to jinx anything but I've just got into bed and I haven't been sick at all today! Grin

This must be the first day in I've lost count how many weeks that I haven't puked. I've certainly felt like it, pretty much all day but I've tried hard not to. Go me!

Maybe this second trimester thing does get easier than the first!

Vikks · 21/10/2013 19:56

Lovely new thread!

Movetothesound Welcome! Make yourself at home. Are you well or have you been suffering with the dreaded MS? x

I've been working my way through the blogs. Moomin had to smile re. the jam doughnuts, been there when DP wouldn't get me a take away at 3 am (on the way back from the airport)! Grin

Great news on the scans today x

Vikks · 21/10/2013 19:59

dobedobedo Well done on the not puking!!! Result x x

thistlelicker · 21/10/2013 20:04

Nuchal scan yet?

Magpie78 · 21/10/2013 20:07

Hello everyone am back from hold with a raspberry. Am in Hertfordshire, have midwife appt tomorrow, feels a little bit more official then....
I also only want tuna mayo sandwiches or chips and now get very emotional when I can't have them. Grin

Magpie78 · 21/10/2013 20:08

Dylanlovesbaez · 21/10/2013 20:54

Helloooo! How are you all doing?
I'm 9 weeks now but still no date for booking in appointment, will be chasing tomorrow. Been sick quite a bit but nowhere near as much as last time but queasiness lasts all day whereas last time I threw up every day but that was it.
I look huuuuuuge! People are guessing and I'm really struggling with hip and back pain. Can't wait for scan, just need to know there's (one) baby in there!
Oh and I'm in hove but having baby in worthing.

LittleBairn · 21/10/2013 21:00

longtailed I will look out for that poster/thread thanks for the tip.

moomin I think I know how to do them (it's meant to be the muscles you use for weeing) but it takes me a lot of effort I can't do them uness I focus on it. But I've heard f devices that are supposed to help....

In fact one woman told me that in France it's a matter of course you see a specialist that umm trains you....using what sounded remarkably like a dildo. Shock

mumof2aimingfor4 · 21/10/2013 21:00

Welcome move :)

Ive felt somewhat human again this evening, which has now made me paranoid! 9 + 4 today.

Im in West London.

mumof2aimingfor4 · 21/10/2013 21:02

moomin excuse my crude terms, but basically to do pfe. You pull your bum hole and hooha inwards and upwards thus clenching the muscles together. You need to hold it for 5 seconds 10 times. I think?!

moominleigh94 · 21/10/2013 21:10

Thanks mumof2 . Think I just managed it... it feels strange though Hmm

CbeebiesIsMyLife · 21/10/2013 21:10

I'm in North Somerset, Weston to be precise.

Moomin, wear panty liners at all times! Some women find that the lactin produced during pregnancy relaxes their muscles too much and incontenance is an issue during pregnancy. It sounds like you might be one of these w

CbeebiesIsMyLife · 21/10/2013 21:13

Women, especially considering it's your 1st baby. Mention it to your midwife next time you see her and see if you can get a referral to the physio. They'll give 1on1 advice and explain how to do the pelvic floor exercises.
I'm a firm believer all pregnant women should automatically see a physio at least once during pregnancy, there are so many problems that are so easily fixed or helped but are ignored because it's too expensive Angry
Ok physio rant over!

mumof2aimingfor4 · 21/10/2013 21:19

moomin I often practice my pve during sex, OH likes it Hmm

mumof2aimingfor4 · 21/10/2013 21:27

*pfe

CbeebiesIsMyLife · 21/10/2013 21:43

I do that too mumof2 when I get bored Blush dh also likes it Hmm
