Hey moomin, I woke up an hour ago feeling sick. Stupid pregnancy brain decided to dream I was eating that popcorn you get at cinemas in America, with the melted butter on. Confused I haven't eaten butter since being pregnant as it makes me heave. Bleugh. Thank goodness it's Saturday

randdom · 26/10/2013 08:28

Random question. Does anyone else find that they wake up in the morning and as they lie in bed have about 10-15 minutes where they feel normal and then the sickness hits them?

SarahJinx · 26/10/2013 09:03

Hi all. Hope it's ok to pop back in? I joined the original thread the day after getting the BFP and then proceeded to bleed from
7 weeks onwards. Two early scans where I had myself convinced I had miscarried, and then finally Nuchal scan yesterday have put my mind at rest!! Finally!!

So I kept away from the thread, just lurked a bit in case of bad news. Will try to catch up, you guys are mammoth posters! Sorry to those that did get bad news too.

I'm still bleeding a little, and crampy but I guess that this time, that's just me.

12 + 4

dobedobedo · 26/10/2013 09:13

random yeah that's how mine goes.

Hi sara good news on the scan! Glad everything is going well. X

impatientlywaiting · 26/10/2013 09:37

Hi Sara, so pleased that everything turned out well. Must have been such a worrying time. Glad that you are feeling like you can come back on the thread now.

mumof2aimingfor4 · 26/10/2013 09:59

Good morning ladies. Woke up just now feeling fine got straight up and came downstairs to pop some toast in toaster and went really dizzy and hot. Managed to make it to armchair in living room before I passed out. I should have known it was too good to be true!

mumof2aimingfor4 · 26/10/2013 09:59

Welcome back Sarah glad all is well.

rebeccax2 · 26/10/2013 10:13

Sarah great news and welcome! :-) So happy for you and your 12 week scan. How exciting.

I have to say after the most scary, slowest few weeks of my life (4-9) time seems to be back to normal at last. That is, the days are passing quicker again. Thank god! x

moominleigh94 · 26/10/2013 10:23

Welcome back Sarah great news! :)

Ooh sounds horrible mumof2, take it easy today.

It definitely seems to have gone quicker after the 10 weeks mark Rebecca.

I had about five really vivid, odd dreams that I can remember last night. Most were nightmares, but the last one involved one of my best friends on my course going on the X Factor (he's not much of a singer), singing 'Believe' by Cher, and being told by Louis he's the worst singer ever, and Gary Barlow tried to push him off the stage Hmm I haven't even watched X Factor this year!

I should be used to it moomin as my blood pressure goes really low when pregnant but at booking in I was 120/70 which is good. It jist caught me off guard im just glad I didnt fully pass out as dd2 was hovering round my feet wanting breakfast.

moobaloo · 26/10/2013 10:35

wow so much chat to catch up on!!

I have my scan booked but it's in THREE WHOLE WEEKS! Which tbh seems like a lifetime. I hope it does go quicker after 10 weeks because that's tomorrow for me Grin now time can flllyyyy

SarahJinx · 26/10/2013 10:52

Thanks all Thanks

moominleigh94 · 26/10/2013 10:59

It really does moobaloo! The first four weeks (I only found out at 6 weeks) dragged and dragged and dragged, and now the last nearly four weeks seem to have gone so quickly!

13+5 today :)

Hi ladies,

Sorry haven't posted much over last few days. Good to see some more lovely scan news coming in. Smile Mine is on Friday. Feels weird that this time next week we'll be able to tell everyone!

Mumof2 and moomin and anyone else feeling bad, hope you can take it easy today and feel better soon. I'm so glad not to be feeling sick all the time anymore. My back is still causing lots of trouble but despite being agony at times I still prefer it to feeling sick! Going to the docs this week to hopefully get a physio referral.

Have lovely weekends folks!

Xavielli · 26/10/2013 17:42

So sick of trapesing up and down the stairs for a wee. A downstairs toilet will be mandatory in my next house!

Since the scan I feel much more positive about having another baby. Starting to look forward to labour too, might give hypnobirthing a try this time.

moobaloo · 26/10/2013 17:49

snoozysleeper my scan is on the 15th Nov, so a little before yours, but as you say it still feels ages no matter when it is I think!!

Glad it's going to get faster from here on in Smile

9+6 today!

mumof2aimingfor4 · 26/10/2013 18:16

moobaloo my scan is on the same date as you :)

xavielli ive got a downstairs loo, but its outside so choose to trapse the the stairs!

My OH just caught and killed (sorry spider lovers) one of those false widow spiders that has been on the news recently. It fell on his head in our living room

Movetothesound · 26/10/2013 18:26

Hi Sarah welcome back

Hope everyone has had a nice saturday, we took the dog to camber sands for the day so i am totally cream crackered now! 10 weeks today Smile

Flixy102 · 26/10/2013 18:45

Hope everyone is having a lovely saturday! Was very surprised to get the date for my 20 week scan this morning-17th December! The next milestone!

rebeccax2 · 26/10/2013 18:55

Well, 2 days until I'm off on holiday. I have to say I wish the ruddy spotting would stop. I'm about 90% less stressed about it, and have accepted I'm just going to spot, but it still unnerves me a little.

I have 2 weeks in Bali! :-) x

moominleigh94 · 26/10/2013 19:34

xavielli I am so glad my room in the student house has an en-suite toilet. It has been a godsend.

I want my 20 week scan date through Sad it should be around the 9th December.

Ooooh enjoy your holiday rebecca, sounds lush! Much better than these storms we're forecast here Hmm

Xavielli · 26/10/2013 19:56

Hope you have a lovely relaxing break rebecca

SarahJinx · 26/10/2013 20:17

flixy I'm also the 17th December, early Christmas treat?! Rebecca have you been given any explanation for spotting? I've been told it could be some sort of pregnancy cyst which is breaking up, or a sensitive cervix but not had any examination since I first started, where I was told it all looked perfect and that my cervix was nice and closed.....

I know it's 'normal' but I never had anything with ds1 and it freaks me out every time. Trying to do what you're doing though.
I'm not having the wees this time either, same bleddy constipation though Sad

I'm starting to forget there was ever a time when I didn't feel sick too!
