I got my bfp this morning and calculator says due July 4th!!!

Wow, that seems ages away!!

Feeling quite scared....can't wait for this bus to fill up, can't party on my own!! xxx

Still been bleeding today and passed quite a few clots this morning! I am booked into drs for Thursday so will wait and see! Day 1 of my last period was I think 27th September not sure when I ovulated as we were just going to stop being careful.
Will wait and see what dr says and go from there! I believe in everything happens for a reason! And if this is not going to be a sticky bean I would hope it to happen now rather than a few more weeks down the line if that makes sense! I feel like I could be, but after three yrs without periods I don't know if it is that or just what a period feels like now! I'm not going to get my hopes too high.

Hi newlywed. Sorry to hear about the bleeding. When I had my bleed earlier this week I also thought the same thing, if it's going to happen, I'd rather it happen now then in a few weeks or months :(

I've gone from reading the ttc boards to the pregnancy boards in a couple of months, quite scary!
It's our first and think I'll need some help to not go crazy with all this....

Hi...can't believe I'm posting here, can't quite trust it all yet!
I think I'm about 5w+4, due 3rd July. This will be our first after 16 months of trying and one cycle of clomid!
No major symptoms as yet except my growing boobs!

Hi, well bleeding has slowed to an almost stop it's very brown/old style blood.
Still very tired and sore boobs!
Not taken a test since Thursday! Would it be worth testing again tomorrow morning or would it still show if it's not a sticky one!
At drs on Thursday what should I do!

Hello roozocheeks, it's great that clomid worked for you! Newlywed like you said, a positive result tomorrow probably wouldn't help you because it takes a while for the HCG to come out of your system. Would it be worth phoning your early pregnancy unit to see if they can see you/scan you earlier?

Newlywed brown/old blood plus the fact you still have symptoms sounds very positive. I should think it's probably an implantation bleed. EPU won't scan until min of 6 weeks usually. You could see if GP will do some blood tests? Will give hormone levvels and then repeat two days later to see if HCG has doubled as it should. Did you do a digi before? What did it say? You could repeat that?

Newlywed I didn't bother going to early pregnancy unit, just went to my gp, had one blood test on Friday and going back tomorrow for the second. Gp said if bloods tests weren't not 100% conclusive she would refer me to scan/additional blood until we had an unequivocal answer.

Im feeling a bit blurgh. Still not had much sickness. My only symptoms are extreme tiredness, headaches, loss of appetite and being really faddy with food.

Im away tonight with work through to Wednesday and cried all the way here. I work away all the time, ive no idea whats wrong with me! Id just love to be at home right now with DH.

So to cheer myself up I just did another IC HPT. The line came up super quick and by the time ten minutes had past it was darker than the control line. I feel like Ive achieved something!

I was really excited about my early scan on Friday. I've confused myself though. lady after what you quite rightly said about my implantation temp dip might have actually been my ov temp dip, I now have three dates to manage:
Based on lmp which I know is wrong Im 6w + 6
Based on my ff ov date Im 6w+2
Based on my last temp dip Im 5w+ 4

Im now worried though as my scan booked for when Im 7w may not show a heartbeat if I did ov on my last temp dip. As if that's the case, I'll only be 6w+2. I can't really move it, as its been a big thing for DH to get out of work early - so if I move it back he probably won't be able to attend. Dilemmas dilemmas!

Hmmm, that's a toughie, Jaykay. But if the purpose of the scan is reassurance, what you really don't want to see is anything remotely inconclusive. Having said that I saw a hb with DS after I had a bleed and I was only about 6 weeks (but was def over 6). Why don't you call the clinic and see what they advise? Say you're not sure of dates. Do they scan on weekends? Some clinics do...maybe you could move it til the following weekend so DH doesn't have to mess with work? That way you'd be 6+5 (or 7+3)

I got my bfp yesterday, this will be my 2nd. I think I'm due 9th July, my my cycle length varies from 28 to 30 days so not quite sure how you decide. Even though this was planned and I've done it before, it still took a second test this morning to convince myself.

So far I feel normal, but with flashes of blind panic

Due date is 6th July I think :)
Will know more after a scan I guess, my cycle was short for a long time, but settled to 28d when we started ttc, typical!

Not sure if we can keep schtum until 12weeks!
It seems the tiredness is starting already, not great in my job :(

Jaykay that is quite confusing with your different dates! It could be why you didn't get a bfp till late, so maybe you are only just 6 weeks? I would agree with lady and see if you can rearrange for a week later.

Newlywed I would ask the doctor to do the blood tests for you, to see if the hormone levels increase.

Congratulations Doodle! I'm up a cup size already which is lovely, but man alive do they hurt!!!
Sorry no advice to offer on the early scans, feel utterly daunted by everything at the moment, I had no idea it would take over my every waking thought already!

jaykay I would agree about pushing the scan back if possible. My gp was not keen on scans until at least 6 weeks, she said it always best to wait as long as possible as it can be very hard/distressing to get an inconclusive scan..

I'm going to ask on Thursday if they will be able to confirm! I don't know for sure how far along I would be as I only had implant out on 24th September and then had a period starting 27th sept! Cycles before used to be around 28-33 days! Because of this I am sure they will do blood test! Hubby is coming with me and he is a bit more clued up being a pharmacist! Had moments of feeling queasy! Boobs still hurt and not sure what tired was is down to cz I do shift work and have felt like this since August!

So the news from the blood tests is bad, no increase in hcg. Having one more blood test on Wednesday but it is pretty conclusive :( I've had no bleeding since that one small bleed so I guess that is just a waiting game now.

Hi ladies! Can I join you please? I got my Bfp a few days ago and am still a bit shell shocked as we really expected it to take much longer than it did!

I'm currently about 4wks 3 days and my due date (from the calc) seems to be around 11th of July.

This will be our first baby and we are very excited but a little terrified at the same time - mainly as we don't really know what to expect. I am also super anxious something will go wrong and the cramps I've been having on and off have not helped this! I've got a doctors appointment for later this week - do they just refer you to a midwife usually? Am sooo clueless!

Welcome, Ipsumlorem, you're my due date buddy! Doc will take your BP, ask if you're ok and refer you to midwife for 8 week appointment. That's it! May book you for flu jab, not sure. Jessie so sorry to hear of your loss

Not much to report from me. Small nose bleed, very slight nausea , that's it really. Did another test and got very dark, quick line which was good as digi said 1-2 weeks when I'd been expecting 2-3, guess implantation was later than I thought. Ep!
