Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
loopylou52 · 04/10/2013 18:25

chip - me too, I've replaced chocolate with sweets (and full sugar coke) so it's not like I'm even saving on the calories (far from it!). Having said all that though, I did scoff three jaffa cakes in about a minute earlier and they were just what I needed. I feel so weak today, especially my legs, couldnt find the energy to do anything so needed the sugar rush. I'm wondering if I'm low on iron but I'm taking pregnacare, which has it in it, so it seems unlikely. Probably just lazy! Grin

moominleigh94 · 04/10/2013 19:15

OH took me out and got me a chicken nugget meal at McDonalds Grin I don't tell him how grateful I am for what he does for me sometimes soppy mushy moment over

Off to a pub quiz tonight Grin

AliOh · 04/10/2013 19:27

Don't know how you have the energy moomin I just want to collapse into bed at not even 8pm.

I too have completely gone off chocolate, really want crisps/chips or anything salty really!

Still on the tea though but trying to be good and limiting how much I drink.

For those of you who are really suffering with ms, one of my colleagues told me today that she swore by barley sugar sweets to help ms, don't know if they work but I'm going to try and get some tomorrow and give them a go :)

moominleigh94 · 04/10/2013 19:37

I think I'm still on adrenaline rush from audition AliOh :)

Plus there's food vouchers on offer, and if there's food I'm on it like a car bonnet.

hobbjobb · 04/10/2013 20:24

I've updated the stats with our names, it's such a hard decision, so much responsibility!

BananaHammocks · 04/10/2013 20:42

I've also added a few names!

onefunkymama · 04/10/2013 20:51

I'd forgotten how scary being pregnant can be (9 years since DS) TMI alert... Browny blood getting a little more profuse not loads, but needing a panty liner. Did some research today and it seems really common esp in twin pregnancies. Glad we saw a heartbeat yesterday, that boosted my confidence, two weeks until we see whether the second sac will develop in to a twin. Wish the bleeding would stop though, it freaks me out

BoogiesBunny · 04/10/2013 21:21

Oh onefunky so glad that you have the confidence of that heartbeat. If you don't have painful cramps and fresh red blood then you're okay - just remember the image(s?!) on the scan. We're all worrying no matter though...

Maternity jeans ordered so I'm prepared - it's just bloat at the minute but still uncomfortable so will be nice to have a better option if it gets worse. Also got a dress for our trip to devon in 5 weeks - hoping a maternity dress might show off what teeny, tiny bump I'll have (rather than look fat!). Impatient... me?!

I hope those who have had an awful week feel much better in the morning and can enjoy the weekend - we're getting through this first trimester... one day at a time!

ThePFJ · 04/10/2013 21:59

At least we have pretty of time to play with the names we have choosen Smile
I am getting crampy pains on one side tonight... fingers crossed they go away.. they aren't toooo bad.. but a wee tiny weeny bit worrying. I am sure it will be fine. Thanks for letting me share... it feels better just to admit anything on here - you are all so super lovely!

I'll update you tomorrow... I need some kip...
Love and hugs girls xxxxxxxxxx

mumof2aimingfor4 · 04/10/2013 22:11

Hope you're feeling better this morning pfj and the cramps were nothing more.

Congrats on the massage moomin wish I had one Envy Grin

mumof2aimingfor4 · 05/10/2013 10:15

Thank you ladies, scan is at 11. Thankfully my travel bands arrived just now so I've popped them on and laid down again for 10 mins to give them a chance to get working Hmm

How are you this morning PFJ?

moomin congrats on the massage, don't use it before your 12 weeks though.

moominleigh94 · 05/10/2013 11:01

Had an 'interesting' night last night, ive had three hours sleep in the last 24 hours. Woke up at 3am unable to breathe, sharp stabbing pain every time I inhaled in the left side of my chest. Called NHS Direct, they sent an ambulance and paramedics to the house. Wound up in hospital having heart traces and all sorts done.

Tietze syndrome apparently, and fairly common in teenagers. Had to leave work after an hour today boo Sad and now in bed feeling very sorry for myself. Highlight of the morning was one of the nurses coming in and brightly announcing "your urine test shows that you're pregnant, of course" - before gasping and saying "Oh my goodness, you did know, didn't you?". It's on my notes and everything Grin but OH and I still pretended to look shocked for a minute, like we had no idea.

Made me giggle anyway Wink

Cupcake1985 · 05/10/2013 11:11

I had a massage at 5 and a half weeks mum of 2? It was a relaxing one mostly my back. It was lovely. Hoping it was ok to do now! Every time I do or use anything it's a minefield. I used bonjella at work then read that's a no no as well. Aahhhh

JessicaTheWereRRRabbit · 05/10/2013 11:33

Wow moomin that must've had you worried for a while - how are you feeling now? Good on you keeping your soh in the hospital on no sleep!

Mumof2 hope your scan went well xx

impatientlywaiting · 05/10/2013 11:48

Hope you are feeling better now Moomin, you too PJF.

I'm in a right huff today. How am I still only 10 weeks? Surely as I feel like I have known I'm pregnant for ... What feels like half of my life now, I must be further on than I am??

Still haven't got my date for 12 week scan yet either which is annoying. Feel like once I know the date I can focus on that and then perhaps the time will speed up?

mumof2aimingfor4 · 05/10/2013 12:05

So, turns out that im a big pratt with baby brain. Er....my scan is tomorrow at 11. Blush

mumof2aimingfor4 · 05/10/2013 12:08

cupcake I only went off of what my masseuse said when I told her I wad pregnant, "avoid pressure on lower back and abdomen and no essential oils".
The sanctuary in covent garden refuse to do most massages until after 12 weeks.

BoogiesBunny · 05/10/2013 12:25

Scan date arrived this morning - so excited! It's on 30th October when I'll be exactly 12 weeks - perfect. No booking appointment yet but I'll give them them a few more days before ringing. impatiently i feel your pain - although your 2 weeks ahead of me! It is going so slowly... so frustrating!

impatientlywaiting · 05/10/2013 12:27

I know Boogies, a while ago I felt like the time was going quickly and thought I must have passed the dragging phase, but obviously not... It's going SOOOOOOOO slowly!!
