ThePFJ I have been having vivid dreams lately too, one involved going to a pub with one of my friends and we bumped into her ex boyfriend (who I actually haven't seen for about 7 years) and in the dream I couldn't remember his name. Then we ended up going to a house party with loads of random people from my past and when I woke up I expected to be sat at a house party with all these people I used to know. It did weird me out a bit!

Squiffie · 29/09/2013 20:04

ThePFJ I had a dream that I was having a lesbian affair which I actually quite enjoyed and when I told dh his only comment was 'Did you dream I was watching?'

Typical man!

thistlelicker · 29/09/2013 20:09

I have a little pulse type throbbing tonight, any ideas what it could be?

impatientlywaiting · 29/09/2013 20:32

Where is your throbbing Thistle? Your stomach?

Today I had the weirdest sensation. My top lip was twitching on and off for about 2 hours. Never had anything like that before. Dr google suggested a deficiency in potassium or the onset of some depressing diseases. Would you go to the docs? It's stopped now, finished at about 3pm.

Good to see we aren't the only ones keeping secrets and not telling anyone about the pea yet.

The PFJ if your dinner didn't sound so ace I'd have beat hubby round the head with it! Mine is home now and has stretched his culinary skill by putting a pizza in the oven... Smells good though.

No dreams here just massive case of insomnia and DS is getting out of bed at night...no idea why but its been going on for a few weeks. Maybe the start of school and the fact that we are moving house hopefully next week so he is unsettled . He's in our bed now (terrible parent Hmm) so we can get a full nights sleep. Fx

thistlelicker · 29/09/2013 20:36

Yeh it's just in the middle between my belly button and my bottom of my muffin top :-))

ThePFJ · 29/09/2013 20:52

impatientlywaiting It is probably IS a slight potassium deficiency... eat more bananas (or any fruit or veg you have tonight) or go get some bananas tomorrow. Or it may just be a build up of lactic acid in those muscles. If you are on prenatal vitamins (they should have potassium in you see) and it comes back, or you get mad twitching/muscle spasms anywhere else go in to see the doctor.
I get twitches here and there occasionally, but not for 2 hours long. Don't worry... just keep an eye on it.

thistle I have been getting that LOADS... going to put it down to uterus and surrounding muscles warming up for the big stretch!

Squiffie and AliOh You made me giggle.... I have never had a lesbian dream... while sleeping anyway. What??????? Grin

ThePFJ · 29/09/2013 20:56

Choppa Hope you get some kip tonight!! Sending sleepy vibes your DS's way.
I have the bone from the lamb leg tucked away just in case for DH though.... you never know when I may need to use it. DH is up and about and being good to me again... thank feck. xxx

thistlelicker · 29/09/2013 21:01

impatientlywaiting · 29/09/2013 21:13

Thanks ThePJF have just had a texting consultations with one of my friends who is a doctor and she says not really to worry so think I'll keep an eye on it and go to the docs if it carries on. Xx

bushprincess · 29/09/2013 23:48

halfbaked so sorry. Huge hugs and best of luck for the future, we're all thinking if you.

Welcome all the new maybies contracts to .yu all, mint we're due on the same day Smile

Not telling anyone yet apart from one friend as needed a recommendation for an obstitrician, but dh especially is pretty paranoid about things going well and don't think we could cope with widespread sympathy if all went wrong, however well meant so great to have you guys to talk too!

Boobs are still only clue that this pg may be real! Keep debating poas to check but know that a mmc could still show up as a BFP so just sitting tight a hoping that i can book a scan asap.

Happy birthday cupcake hope your had a wonderful day!

Sorry dh is being a pain pfj hope you better behaviour this week!

Night all!

TheAlyssWithTheMewlingQuim · 30/09/2013 00:48

DP has told one of his friends because she is having a baby too, and originally we had said that she could have some of the stuff eg moses basket, but obviously now we need it! We are due in the same month actually. I'm quite nervous about being pregnant again as last time I had to stay in hospital for a week before and after labour...

moominleigh94 · 30/09/2013 07:43

We've told my parents and his parents, his sister and her DH (waiting to tell my brother and sister until after the scan as they're only 13 and 12), my uni lecturers (thought it best to tell them from the start) and my two best friends, who live with us. Thought it fair to tell them, and needed advice right at the start from my friend, because she's been in my situation, but chose to terminate.

I think all of these people would either need to know or be told if we do have a MC anyway, so I didn't feel too bad about telling them.

MasterFlea · 30/09/2013 07:49

Impatiently I had a twitchy thumb in the first trimester of my last pregnancy. Never had it again.

Yes, yes to the mad dreams. Horrible one last week which was as bad as any horror film.

Anyone else freezing. Im so cold all the time and only that the thermometer said it was 23 in a room, i would have put the heating up. I thought it was 16degrees instead. Brrr....

AliOh · 30/09/2013 07:53

Oh dear Alyss sounds like you had a bad time of it last hopefully this one will be a better experience :)

We've told quite a lot of people, mainly family but after telling MIL to keep it quiet it seems the whole of Limerick city know judging by all the texts and messages DP keeps getting Hmm

8 weeks today :) feel like I've hit a milestone! Yay!

thistlelicker · 30/09/2013 08:14

It's miserable here today so I'm gonna do home made steak pie and cauliflower cheese for tea!!!

CbeebiesIsMyLife · 30/09/2013 08:17

Morning ladies, can I very tentatively join this thread? I know I'll be due in May sometime, but I'm not exactly sure when.

I have 2 dc already dd1 is 3 in October and dd2 is 19 months. I have a scan booked on Wednesday so hoping all is ok

SkipandTink · 30/09/2013 08:41

Morning everyone, I must call the doctor today and arrange booking in appointment. Still feeling sick all day every day, and the only thing that makes me feel marginally better is eating something! Not good. Also feeling really grumpy towards anyone that is not my husband, which is odd. We haven't told anyone yet, although we did early on with the last three. I think we are more anxious this time though.
Very nice to meet you all :)

Kri5ty · 30/09/2013 08:50

halfbaked lots of love and hugs Hun xxxx

thistle and any other Manchester Mums (to be), if you ever fancy a meet up, let me know!

Those of you worrying about not having ant symptoms -don't!
i didn't have any with ds1, other than craving chicken nuggets (but i think that's just me being greedy)

i feel for those of you with OH issues... Mine was crap last time, and when DS was born. I honestly think it takes a lot longer for it to sink in with men!

this pregnancy was an accident (I'm over the moon as i wanted it), but oh is still in shock and doesn't really say anything about it.

due to my job, everyone will find out this week, as its too dangerous to do whilst pregnant. I hate I'm only 6 weeks, yet everyone will know!

AliOh · 30/09/2013 08:56

thistle that sounds yummy!

Hi CBeebies welcome and congrats!

skip I've lost all patience with my work colleagues at the moment, they are probably wondering what is up at the moment as I'm usually the level headed one that never speaks her mind but I'm sorry to say they've heard all sorts of what I think coming out of my mouth lately - probably quite a shock to them but in all honesty I think they need to hear it!

loopylou52 · 30/09/2013 09:09

Morning everyone! We haven't told anyone at all yet as we were waiting for our scan. We're now planning to tell immediate family this coming weekend but will hopefully manage to get to 12 weeks before telling everyone else.

8+1

ThePFJ · 30/09/2013 09:09
