This thread just makes me want to eat!

Me and DH are averaging 2 shags a week, so a lot less than usual.

Although he won't be getting any tonight, argh!!! So annoyed!!! We are getting rid of the car (never use it, and DH can't drive) and its being collected tomorrow. Have been asking since the weekend if DH will wash it, clean it out, empty it of all my shoes/CDs/general tat that's in it. Bear in mind I originally said I'd do it, and he said no he would. Anyway, he's still not done it, and has now arranged to go to his mums this evening and tidy her house because she's too lazy to do it herself, so I'm going to have to settle DS to sleep, then go out and do it all, then make tea, when all I want to do is curl up and snooze! Car is on the road so can't even safely do it during the day with DS's 'help'. Argh!!!!!!

He's just always been put upon by his whole family, since we got together things have improved a lot but she knows how to push his buttons and he ends up torn between keeping me happy (more important) or keeping her happy (less important, but she will make his life a misery if he doesn't do what she wants). I almost feel sorry for him being pulled every which way, but then I think he's nearly 40, he should be able to tell his mum that his pregnant wife takes priority!!!

Just got my downs risk back. 1:370. I think this is ok. They say I'm "screen negative". Results based on scan and blood test.

DP's blood also ok. Because I'm a carrier of sickle cell trait, they needed to make sure he was clear of that and thallasaemia or we would have a one in four risk of a baby with a serious blood disorder. Thankfully all clear.

Good news Lyra!

Just got back from my scan. There is actually a baby in there!

Laid on his/her tummy all the time and refused to move, just a squirm at being poked. DH said he/she is like me already - camera shy and stubborn!

Measuring a week ahead at 13+4 and my EDD is now the 1st of March - which is my birthday!

I can't wait for tonight: my nieces of 14 & 18 are coming to stay for a couple of nights and they are just ace.

I find it strange how so many if us are having our dates brought forward. Surely we can't all be wrong about our LMP. I'm more and more inclined to trust my own dates.

i know what you mean lyra - they told me at first i was due on 20th march and told me i was making it up about their dates being impossible... and would you believe it i was right...

I'll be interested to see if they try to alter my dates tomorrow at the scan as I had IVF and therefore know the date my baby was fertilised in a lab

Scan went well and dates match (well out by a day) so edd is 6th March x

Midwife had me flipping from
Side to Side and coughing to move baby (it's head was in my arse), quite funny yogi could see it moving etc, then after a few moments it would go back to the way it had been!
