Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
Trinpy · 18/08/2013 16:21

Vikkijayne I'm exactly the same. It's just getting ridiculous. I have a uni assignment due in in 3 weeks and still haven't written a word. I came home from work the other day and fell asleep on the living room floor because I didn't have the energy to drag myself onto the sofa! I'm worrying about anaemia too. Would actually prefer that to being told its just normal pregnancy tiredness, which everyone else seems to cope with!

Trinpy · 18/08/2013 16:22

No idea why I felt the need to say that twice!

iloveweetos · 18/08/2013 18:39

Vikki and trinpy I've felt the exact same. Feel like I've been in bed all weekend. Still knackered. But I'm putting it down to not being able to keep much food down? :(

bunnygoesbang · 18/08/2013 19:25

The joys of early pregnancy total exhaustion.

Had a quick look at prams today and nearly died at the price of the one and only one I liked oops.

Oh parents are insisting on paying an think that's its fine (it's the same as their other grandchildren which they also paid for) but I just can't spend that much of anyone else's money

cookielove · 18/08/2013 20:03

Hello all, just got in from weekend at the pil. I am so tired! Hope all is well and for those who are spotting fx!!

cookielove · 18/08/2013 20:03

It will all be alright.

Whoops! !

prettyinpink90 · 18/08/2013 20:06

Evening ladies! I can't keep up, this thread moves so quickly.
Got my midwife appointment through yesterday for the 20th September by which time I'll be 8-9 weeks so hoping to book a private scan for that weekend as I can't wait 12+ weeks for my first scan, I just need to see something!!
Not having many symptoms which don't help my anxiety at all! I have sore boobs, I have been more tired than normal (and can't stop yawning!), I had awful bloating and wind last week and this morning my gums bled when I brushed my teeth, although I'm not sure whether that was because I'd cut my mouth on a packet of crisps yesterday.
Is anyone else lacking symptoms?

bunnygoesbang · 18/08/2013 20:11

Lol at prettyinpink that sounds like symptoms to me. Tiredness, bloating and sore boobs. How far are you now because it might just be too early. In keeping my fingers crossed you don't get the sickness

bunnygoesbang · 18/08/2013 20:11

Has anyone seen their midwife yet?

prettyinpink90 · 18/08/2013 20:13

bunny I guess they are aren't they. I'm just an awful worrier!

Misty9 · 18/08/2013 20:16

I almost wish I was lacking symptoms... Feeling rougher than a rough thing. Constantly nauseous, dizzy and basically feel like I'm hungover! :(
Not been sick, so nowhere near as bad as you chocchaffinch but my body isn't keen on actually vomiting (can count on one hand the number of times it's happened in my life) just feeling very very sick. I def didn't feel anything like this with ds - maybe it's a girl?!

At least the bloating and trapped wind has eased off today and eating staves off the nausea for around 10mins. 6+2 so who knows how many more weeks of this :(

prettyinpink90 · 18/08/2013 20:16

bunny I'm about 5 weeks btw. My doctor can't date it properly as I conceived straight after coming off Cerazette before my periods had chance to settle back down. Have you had your appointment date to see the midwife through yet?

Misty9 · 18/08/2013 20:17

Oh, and those are definitely symptoms pretty ! It's so glamorous this pregnancy lark!

bunnygoesbang · 18/08/2013 20:19

Im thankful for the extremely painful huge boobs and the constant nausea and the fact I am sick at least once a day as it means its there and happening but bloody hell I could do with a break from it.
Feel like I am staring to put things on hold thinking no I'm not going there today as no loo nearby.
Went shopping today armed with travel sweets/ travel bands and still nearly threw up when out and about. I think I may need to carry bags and wipes lol x

leanne239 · 18/08/2013 20:31

One is not amused.....my boobs are leaking, and being that it is my 5th pregnancy, (one miscarriage Sad ) according to Google, it can happy early on Sad so as well as horribly painful boobs, I already have to worry about set patches

cookielove · 18/08/2013 20:38

7+3 no sickness, but its been a close call a few times.

Still no sign of a booking in appointment!

Cannotbelieveit · 18/08/2013 20:47

The tiredness has hit! And I can't even blame it on DS now!!! But can't tell anyone why!

Will do another test in front of DH Tuesday and finally it'll be out in the open! He keeps saying I won't be and don't test til AF is due but I already tested on Friday Confused and didn't tell him

patsy375 · 18/08/2013 21:08

misty9 YES yes to feeling constantly hungover! I have been feeling that way all week but haven't heard anyone else say the same.
And just like a hangover only junk food, fluids and naps seem to help! (If only for half an hour.)
My dh was hungover for real today and cannot believe I have to put up with it every day.

7+0 today Smile

Nessalina · 18/08/2013 22:25

I'm the same as you Pretty, got the milder symptoms but nothing serious yet. More tired, more crabby, digestion buggered, and boobs ache, but no sickness yet! My nipples bloody wreck today Confused

Nessalina · 18/08/2013 22:26

Been trying to keep warm - erect nipples are a whole world of pain right now! DH unsympathetic. Threatened to twist his to give him a demo... Less than enthused!!

thatwasadaftidea · 18/08/2013 23:36

hi there.
i'm 6 weeks tomorrow.
well i think i am. i don't know date of last period so going on possible date of conception.
any ideas when i should let midwife know?
would like to avoid for as long as possible although would like a dating scan.

BoobsTooBig · 19/08/2013 00:51

Thanks for all your advice & support ladies re the bad friend situation.
So was just getting into my pj's when I took of my bra and caught DH do a double take... He said wowzers looks like you have had a boob job they are massive and amazing (not amazing before then hey lol), this happend last time as well but I think this time they may just be even bigger bloody things are in the way! And as a rider I can't seem to strap these painful things down enough to keep from giving me a black eye or two.
Has anyone had painful lymph nodes just where the breast meets the underarm I woke up this morning and it was painful as hell especially on the right side. Still very denser but not quite as bad as the morning.
5+1 as its past midnight
Still haven't contacted Midwife to tell them I'm pregnant too scared to tempt fate if I Mc again... I might ask DH to set the booking in date for me silly I know but I'm being quite silly about a lot with this one now.

Ninunina · 19/08/2013 04:30

My bladder and nausea have woken me up once again and I can't go back to sleep! This pregnancy insomnia is no fun at all. misty I agree with the hang over feeling too. I either feel like that or when things are really bad I feel as if I'm on a boat in rough sea (I get ultra seasick) . I'm finding that I'm worst in the morning and the evening, but can cope quite well between 11am and 7pm. I'm not looking forward to this week since DH is abroad so I have no one to pamper me and bring me a drink or toast to help soothe my tummy.
bunny what pram did you like? My DD was testing my friends double buggy yesterday. She kept on crawling in it... so I think I know which one to get IF I need one. There will be a 2y4m gap between them. I'm not sure if DD will still stay in her pushchair by then though.

I'm going to TRY and get some more sleep now. Anyone have any spare sheep I can count?

Ninunina · 19/08/2013 04:34

thatwas I would contact the midwife ASAP since she will need to arrange a dating scan as early as possible. I had gotten pg after a miscarriage with DD and had a dating scan at 6 weeks exactly (luckily enough I saw a hb) .

pinkpeoniesplease · 19/08/2013 07:17

Morning all! And congratulations to all the new BFP's!

I am 8 weeks today, told my Mum & siblings yesterday which was lovely and have my booking in appointment tomorrow. Yet it STILL doesn't feel real! I'm fairly symptomless so I guess it won't feel real until I see some changes in my body.
